“If you grew up eating chicken over rice at halal carts in the city only to go vegan later in life you've experienced the extreme disappointment that comes with ordering falafel over rice without white sauce. It's a tragedy and a reason never to visit a halal cart again. Not at Sam's. Here the falafel is king and the platter is a shrine to the balls of chickpea. The sides and sauces all pack a punch of flavor and keep you coming back for more. The guys who work the cart are really sweet too. These falafels occupy a place in my heart.“

“Venti is a great sandwich shop in JC. We used to get sandwiches from there back when they only had a food truck. Unsurprisingly, they've leveled up and have a brick and mortar location now. We usually get the chicken parm with vodka sauce and the spicy Italian sub. Can't go wrong with either!“
“I love this truck because it's independent individuals making quality, fresh, craft food. I actually get a hot dog more often than a sausage hero, but both are very good. They allegedly use a Sabrett's (skinless) dog just like everyone else, but their dogs are far plumper than you find from most other places and they use a Martin's potato roll. And they're grilled, which I prefer to the boiled dogs from the other truck up the street. When I get a sausage hero (which I just got myself in the mood for), I get it topped with marinara sauce. There's only one negative to this truck. They shut down at around 3:30pm each day and I don't think they're ever there on Sundays or holidays. In my perfect world, they'd be there practically 24 hours a day, so if I had a craving at 11pm, I could get my dog or sausage hero. Like everybody else, they've raised prices - dogs are $4 and I think the hero sandwiches are now $12, but still well worth it.“
“This is a very underrated truck in the city. One of the best birria spots I've tried in a while. I tried this place on new years, and it was sooo good, I dragged any of my friends that mentioned anything about food that day. I first got the birria torta, which was a heavenly sandwich, and a great deal for 10$. I also went back for a birria quesadilla, which was also really good! The service was quick both times, and I really appreciate them keeping reasonable prices on new years, with 1 dollar waters and 2 dollar sodas! I can't speak too much about the ambiance because I assume this was a temporary location for new years, but I would follow this truck anywhere. No food pics, food was gone way before I ever thought about taking a picture.“
“Being from southern California, I had high high hopes for this birria and consome and I was not disappointed! A great deal for 3 tacos for $12. Their mulitas were absolutely heavenly and that consome was cooked to perfection I drank the entire thing after dipping my tacos and mulita. We took these to go and sat at a nearby dog park to eat it. There was on line when we went (a Friday at around lunch time) which I was pleasantly surprised by! While we were waiting, another patron eagerly exclaimed that she had been looking for this food truck and wasn't aware that they had moved locations so it's evident this spot is beloved and sought out.
