“Had one of the best meals ever at The Grand Tavern. The little gems salad and agnolotti were delicious. The braised veal dish was succulent, and the mushroom stuffing may be one of the best things I ever tasted. The pan seared halibut was perfectly cooked, and the leek sauce was the perfect accompaniment. We did not need to order the strawberry shortcake, but we were glad we did. The cake was a buttery poundcake, and the whipped cream was perfectly sweetened.“

“Found a hair in the bottle that came with raw bar. Waiter gave us a New bottle and dropper. One meal came out cold and another with dressing that was asked to be omitted. Waiter corrected and had food done over. We were not able to eat together but it was still fine. Mgr comp'd those 2 meals and gave us desert on the house. Food was great and they did the right thing. Would go back again. Things happen and they righted it“

“I've been living down by the Shore for over a decade and had the best breakfast of my Life here!!! Today I had Dave's Homemade Corned Beef Hash with all the bells and whistles: poached eggs, asparagus, Swiss, hollandaise...Absolutely delicious! Everything my wife and I tried was amazing: the biscuits with cinnamon honey butter, the coffee cake and the pancakes. Highly recommend The Buttered Biscuit. Service was also amazing.“

“This was our first time at Piccola Italia. We LOVED it! Upon arriving we am sat at the bar and was greeted by Mike, the bartender. He was very friendly and immediately served us. Our Manhattan and Pinot noir was very good. When the rest of our party arrived, we sat at a square table (we were 7) and from the appys to our main entrees (porterhouse steak that fed three men, and lump crab with a bucatini type pasta), everything was so delicious. Ryan was our server and he couldn't be more accommodating and friendly. Dessert didn't disappoint - warm apple crumble cake, bread pudding and sea salt caramel gelato!! And to top off our night, the chef came to our table when we were done and gave us some grappa on the house. We will definitely return!!“

All staff were extremely nice and accommodating to requests.They even went the extra mile - we forgot my son’s medical bag there and only realized when we were home - I called and they’re mailing it back to me! “Had dinner here Saturday night. Don't know why it wasn't busier as the food was excellent! We had fajitas and tacos and loved every bite! So much food for not a high price. Neither of us was able to finish our dinner as they give you so much food. The only complaint I had, which might have been corrected if I asked, was they only gave 3 tortilla shells with the fajitas. It doesn’t look like much from the outside so we pulled in and then said, “Nah” and drove off and then I started reading the reviews and they were really good, so we turned around. LOLFood was really decent. Staff was so friendly. Place is cozy. Music was on point per my husband. They served some nice warm bread when we first sat down. My husband had mussels and the sauce was actually killer in a very yummy way. He also had a meatball parm sandwich which he enjoyed.
