“I love this place!!! I went there with my family from Florida, and everyone loved the food and vibe! We had the Jumbo Smoked Wings, the Big Texas Tots and the Smoked Pork Belly for appetizers which were all delicious. We ordered the Pulled Chicken BBQ Platter, the Burger, the Brisket Sandwich and Ribs which were all equally as delicious. You have to check this place out ASAP!!”

“I found the perfect post-beach meal at the Jersey Shore! If you’re craving comfort food after a long day on the beach, Hoagitos is definitely worth the stop. Everything is made fresh in-house, from the sandwiches to the sauces, and you can really taste the difference.

My favorites were the Vodka Parm Semolina Sandwich with a crispy chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, spicy vodka sauce, fresh basil, Asiago, all served on a seeded semolina roll it was absolutely incredible. I also loved the Smash Burger. It was simple, juicy, flavorful, and really hit the spot.

Whether you’re in the mood for fried chicken sandwiches, sliders, burgers, or subs, there’s something for everyone. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the quality really stands out. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m at the Jersey Shore!”

“Fantastic restaurant with immaculate vibes and amazing decor! The staff was super friendly and attentive—they even offered to take our group photo and gave us an umbrella on the way out, which was such a thoughtful touch.

We ordered the pepperoni hot honey flatbread and jumbo shrimp in garlic sauce—both absolutely delicious. The “crystal ball” drink was not only fun with the smoke bubble presentation, but also perfectly balanced and paired great with the meal.

For entrées, we had the penne vodka and Trade Winds burgers with French fries—everything was spot on. For the kids, we ordered burgers and fries, which they loved.

It was a perfect night with great company. Definitely make a reservation! They also have a separate bar area with a billiards table and even a fish tank—such a cool touch. Love this spot in Point Pleasant!

“So glad to have a place like this at the jersey shore! I have been here 2 times now and both times were so amazing. The first time I got the bowl with the coconut bites and the second I got the brownie bowl - both times I was with someone who got the biscoff cookie bowl. All three bowls are absolutely amazing, the acai is so flavorful and sweet and they put the perfect amount of toppings! We also had the cinnamon roll smoothie and Birthday Cake protein bites both were so delicious and flavorful! The actual store is gorgeous as well, air conditioned with plenty of places to sit and so much to look at while you wait. I highly recommend if you’re in the area - and would even say it’s worth the trip if you’re not.”

“First time, we were three lucky walk-ins and scored the last available table. We immediately felt comfortable and were impressed by the attentive service. Vincent was our waiter. The food exceeded our expectations, too. My girlfriends and I had a great experience and would love to visit again.

The second time, a couple weeks later, I brought my partner for his birthday. We also felt comfortable and were impressed with the attentive service. Through his friends, he heard about their amazing pork chop special and inquired about it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a special that day. Vincent, (our waiter, again!) checked with the kitchen, and they were able to accommodate. We were lucky, happy, and really impressed. We had such a joyful time. Highly recommend!”

“When you get iced coffee they offer regular ice or a coffee ball. It’s a ball of frozen coffee so it doesn’t water down your drink as it melts. It was good. I also had a pumpkin muffin. It would be nice if there was a mocha on the menu though.”

“A little confusing to locate; the sign for Black Anchor is on the wall of the stall for Crepes & More. Even when mapping it and standing practically in front of it, we had difficulty finding this. Being avid coffee drinkers, we came to this boardwalk ONLY for this coffee house, which wasn't a house at all, just a stall. There's no seating. I'm not sure if this was formerly just a coffeehouse and they've changed directions with their business? The coffee was good.”

My current review is that Luigi's went back to their old recipe and it took a bit as I think they may have been changing ownership when I wrote my previous review. Luigi's has again been a staple and go to for my family when we crave some pizza. The sauce is delicious and the thin crust pizza is the reason we come back. I still stick to my old review which is the reason I am not deleting it. I also appreciate that they probably knew something was off and made the effort to change and correct their pizza recipe. Luigi's is a place that brings back all my childhood memories of grabbing a slice and going down to the beach to enjoy. If you are in the area I would highly suggest trying a slice!
***OLD REVIEW***I am a local and Luigis has been a tried and true. My family and I always ordered from luigi's because it has been our favorite pizza place for years. Unfortunately the last time we ordered pizza the quality had significantly gone down. We ordered a half white and half pepperoni pizza. Luigis is known for their thin crisp crust and their amazing sauce. There was something seriously off with the taste of the sauce along with the crust. The white pizza had chunks of garlic in it which was very off putting. Then the pepperoni side had too much sauce and cheese, which made everything soggy. It was honestly the worst pizza we had ever had. I am so sad that my once favorite pizza place has now gotten to this point. I am scared to go back and order because I don't want to be disappointed again.”

Special shout-out to the young 6/2026 wait staff, they delivered excellent customer service (Perks was a favorite of my late wife, and my late-father-in-law who headed over here after church in Bay Head. This was my first time back in several months.) We will be back, and soon.”
