“I order from Poke Zone every few weeks and am always impressed by the freshness and flavors of their poke bowls! The staff always gets the ingredients correct in the make my own bowl. I usually go with the white tuna and salmon combo and it never disappoints. The sauces and toppings are also on point! Highly recommend!“
“Delicious ramen! Friendly and fast service. Reasonable prices. Another ramen place gave me cabbage instead of noodles since I'm Gluten free. Tori ramen offers Gluten free noodles for no extra charge! This was our first time trying and we'll be back.Dietary restrictions: Offered gluten free noodles for no extra charge!“
“Simply amazing ???. My boyfriend and I went here last night, and we had a great time. The vibe was so positive, the staff were so sweet and friendly and accommodating, and the food was amazing. I was also happy I could get a vegetarian option ramen with gf (rice) noodles because most ramen places don’t make those accommodations. I also got the strawberry shortcake shaved ice and it was so, so good. Go and support an amazing small business. We’ll definitely be coming back for many more trips to come ?️ ? ? ✨“
“Surprised to find and enjoy such great food . The restaurant is very small, more for takeout than dine in. It is immaculate, bright and the service is great. Beautifully packaged and delicious! A must try!! Next time we need to try the bubble tea...“
“I am very impressed with this restaurant. It’s not big, but it’s very comfortable. The lighting is just right, the music is not loud but more than anything. The sushi is delicious. The rice is perfectly cooked and the rolls are very good. Seaweed salad was great. No fishy smell or liquidy after taste. I also love the presentation. Came in these really cute wooden boats.Parking: Must try! Very good sushi rolls. Nice Waitress too“
“Absolutely loved our first ( and definitely not last) visit to Tojo in Ho-Ho-Kus! The staff was so welcoming and attentive- Jay was so sweet and did not stop running around helping everyone. The Karage Bun was delicious- served piping hot and the bun was perfect ! The Okra Gomaae was unique. For our main dinner we had the Shio Truffle Ramen ( with added bok choy) and the Tan Tan Men. Both were out of this world! Hit the spot on this very cold day before the first snowstorm of the year! Everything was fresh, served hot and nothing short of exceptional! The line was out the door and I can definitely understand why! See you again soon Tojo Kitchen!!“
“My go to Poke and Ramen in the area. This place is nestled in a strip on Market street and has never failed to satisfy my stomach. The staff is very pleasant and food is well with the $$. If you like ramen, this is a traditional overseas flavoring you should love.“
“Amazing food, awesome staff. Stopped here on the way to Billy's Midway (which is also an amazing place) for some dinner with a friend. We were both amazed by the quality of the food, and how nice the staff was. We will definitely be back when in the area.“
“Hey, my keyboard can't type in Hangul, but anyeongasayo! My girlfriend got me an Uber Eats gift card for my birthday, and we'd already ordered takeout from here once. I'm a Korean adoptee with a white family and never got to try Korean cuisine growing up in New Jersey unless we went to a restaurant. The chicken was juicy and crispy, and the sweet and spicy sauce on the wings was outrageous. You have my business for as long as I can order food on apps. Thank you for letting me taste South Korea here on the East Coast. ????? 5/5Kid-friendliness: I wish I'd tried this growing up. I was in New Jersey. There were millions of Koreans here bumping to the music when I was a kid in the 2000s and 2010s. Thanks for the hard work, chefs. I'm recommending your business to my friends and family! ?❤️? “
“Ramen was amazing! The ginger was strong and flavorful, noodles perfectly cooked, broth, chashu and narutomaki/fish cake was all subtly flavorful and fresh. The menu does leave more to be desired drink wise, especially for those not into smoothies/bobba teas.It was also really weird that one worker walked round and round and round the tables.“
“Went here for a late lunch and was very pleased by how good all the food was! We got the Shiso juice which was very freshing and the takoyaki. Our favorites were the ramens we had which was the red spicy ramen and the black garlic ramen. Both had great flavor, came with a lot of noodles and the chashu was cooked very well to the point where it was super tender.“
“Oh, my!! Dumplings are melt in your mouth, hot and another order, please The Angry Dragon sushi tamed our appetites, The Ramen noodle soup...is very creamy and delicious...just when we thought we couldn't eat another bite,,,, our server, Sophia offered dessert, we couldn't decide ,when she brought our mango passion fruit sorbet she kindly brought her favorite Lemoncello on her, , let me say the Fantastic food, great atmosphere were only enhanced by Sophia's calm and respectful service. We will be back!!!“
“A cute, small spot packing lots of flavor in their ramen. We came as a group of 4 and were able to sit right down. Its casual, and well set up with tables and an open view kitchen. We orderred pork, chicken, and shrimp buns for appetizers, however, they came out at the same time as our meal so we just ate them all together. The buns were really yummy; the pork was tender & came with a tasty sauce. The shrimp and chicken were fried well and very flavorful, too. As for the ramen, we all thoroughly enjoyed our bowls. The Tonkotsu and Karakuchi (spicy) broth had a rich flavor, that was delicious to sip on. The ramen noodles were cooked perfectly, and the accompaniments were delicious. It came with bean sprouts, a marinated egg, pork chashu, and we added bamboo shoots. As a suprise, they gave us a bubble tea ice cream bar at the end of our meal, too. Prices were more than reasonable. I would definitely go back!“
“Whether you love restaurant ramen, or have never tried it before, be confident that you must try this place if you haven't been.I've never had ramen at a restaurant before. So, while I am by no means an aficionado, I do love food and can confidently report on my experience.I visited the establishment for lunch (actually, I got there a little after 11, thinking they were open, and had to wait til they opened at 11:30. That is NOT on them, it's on my poor 'being able to remember what time they open when I looked them up' ability). When I walked in, I honestly thought I accidentally came in through a service entrance. It was that kind of a vibe. Then I noticed the tables and bar to the left. The atmosphere is almost kind of industrial, kind of grunge (everything looked distressed), and I have zero problem with that as long as I wasn't trying to enter through their kitchen or something. So no stars taken from Atmosphere (though I would suggest doing something with those chair legs so they don't make that horrible racket when you try sliding them out from the table or back to the table - still no stars deducted there, it just sent chills down my spine like nails on a chalkboard). My server (I didn't get his name) spoke English perfectly fine, but that wouldn't have been an issue. Their menu has good-sized pictures along with the name of the dish. I have NO idea how to pronounce Gyoza, so even with this 'English as a first language' server, I kind of just sheepishly pointed to my selection with a 'could I please have that?' Bonus, I wasn't laughed at or looked down on for doing that. There was another person who came by (wanted to know if I was finished, brought the check, processed the payment) whose English wasn't exactly fluent, but for goodness' sake, it's not hard to figure out what's being asked, and there's no non-xenophobic reason to have an issue with that. It's ramen, not a heart surgery consultation!I got the Ramen & Gyoza combo. I thought that was extremely reasonably priced, given the current pricing situation for restaurants in general, and for the amount of food I got. I almost went for their $13 lunch special, but decided I'd rather have the dumplings. I'm accustomed to dumplings, I get them from Chinese food places all the time.First of all, those dumplings have ruined Chinese food place dumplings for me. These things were so much more flavorful than what I was used to, I almost didn't know what to do with myself. The filling was actually pretty light/ airy, not like the lump-of-stuff inside (where you either just get a bite of the wrapping, or you get all the filling at once - at this establishment, every bite included wrapping AND filling with nothing falling out) that I was used to. And whatever that sauce was that they came with, was amazing. It wasn't hard to figure out what to do about the ramen bowl. Or maybe I did it wrong and no one decided to laugh at me. Chopsticks for the noodles and pork (if I managed to grab some mushroom or green onion with it, bonus), wooden spoon for the broth (definitely with green onion and/ or mushrooms). I went 50/50 on the egg. The flavor was, again, amazing. I enjoyed every single bite and on God, if there weren't other people in the restaurant, I would have been tipping the remainder of the bowl directly into my mouth. The combo overall left me feeling just slightly past satisfied, but way way short of feeling over-full. It was a perfect portion size, for a really really great price.I may or may not try other ramen places, just for comparison, but one thing that is guaranteed is that this establishment will always be in my 'ramen place' rotation.Oh, and fair warning: When I got there (again, they weren't open), the lot was empty. When I left 50 minutes later (12:20 pm), the lot was super full. It's not their fault that they're so popular (OR IS IT?), but definitely be prepared to hunt for parking elsewhere depending on t“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ramen Noodle Azuma and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The casual atmosphere immediately made me feel at ease, and the great service only added to the overall enjoyment of my meal. But let's talk about the food - absolutely delicious! My favorites were the juicy cha-su buns, the flavorful gyoza, and of course, the mouth-watering ramens. Each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail, resulting in a burst of flavors that left me wanting more.I highly recommend Ramen Noodle Azuma to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The combination of a casual ambiance, excellent service, and delectable food makes it a must-visit spot. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!“
“Overall the Ramen was good, I gave 4-out-5 stars because the noodle texture could be better. They might've overcooked my Ramen for extra minutes, a bit too soft. The soup base was great. Service was good, and we like the environment very much, clean and nicely arranged.“
“In the rare times I’m craving ramen from a mall food court, I trust Menya for it.Maybe that doesn’t sound like a glowing review but I can’t help but compare this with the original standalone Menya Sandaine in Fort Lee!But at least my usual favorite the spicy karakuchi tastes similar enough!I’m not quite providing full stars because the presentation matters, and it’s hard for me to feel fully satisfied by ramen in a takeout container. In summary, I’d usually prefer the standalone location but sometimes you take what your schedule allows.“
“The food and service were excellent. Appetizers were great, including the Chicken Karaage (Bites) and Squid Skewer. Beef Gyoza was tasty as well. We had 3 different types of ramen, and all were delicious. The seafood ramen was good and hearty, and the pork broth was great. The pork cutlet was really good quality, meaty and soft. The service was very nice, helpful and friendly. Overall, a great experience and we'll definitely be back.“
