“We had an outstanding experience at Rosella last night. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top notch. Our server James was engaging and got us out of our comfort zone by surprising us with most of the dishes we were served. My husband who is not a sushi fan is now a sushi fan. We can’t wait to come back!“
“Come here every time am in NYC. Best Chinese cuisine I've ever had, and I've been dining out for more than 50 years. Imagine PF Chang's but WAAAAAY BETTER. And the opposite of pricey. Skip booze and it's easy to do dinner for two with appetizer and delicious green tea, for less than 40 dollars.“
“Food was very good. That's most important snd only diminished by extreme noise which is not the case in this small restaurant. Only drawback for us would be that some of the tables have metal backless stools which would have been a dealbreaker but luckily our cozy little table for two had chairs with backs. One charming item: they have hangers for coats and your purse!“
“We ordered lamb haneeth and chicken massloug. We got for free lamb broth soup, house salad, bread, and sweet tea. Service was very quick and profesional. Loved it that the place was packed during dinner with all kinds of patrons appreciating the Yemeni food, which was rich in spice (but not hot spicy). It was our first time trying. It’s almost like a blend of Turkish and Indian food but more on the subtle side. They specialised in lamb and chicken. You should try it out!“
“Whether you know and love Georgian food already or it's your first time, this is the place for you. I've been to many Georgian restaurants in the area that are too expensive, too far away, or too Amercanized, this place is perfect for fast casual Georgian food. I'm so happy to discover it and can't wait to return again and again. დელიას გაუმარჯოს!“
“I have been here for both dinner and lunch. I prefer the dinner menu over their lunch menu because of the bigger portions and wider variety, but the dinner menu is available at lunch as well. For dinner, my partner got the braised short rib which he was very pleased with. I got the set of four hand rolls which all tasted fresh and delicious. The hand rolls are more like open sushi tacos. There was a lot of filling so I ended up being fuller than I expected. For lunch, we had the lunch bento set which included a small portion of an entrée, a miso soup or salad, and a hand roll of your choice for about $25 depending on your entree. The teriyaki is on the milder side. Overall, I am happy to have this little gem in Brooklyn. Besides the good food, service has always been exceptional too.“
“Amazing Ramen! Located a few minutes from Madison Square Garden, we choose to try it before seeing Knicks - Lakers. On a cold winter evening, never was a more appropriate choice. Tonkotsu ramen with rich broth and generous portion: an experience absolutely worth trying <3“
“Delicious authentic Thai food inspired by the vibrant floating markets of Thailand in a great location in Brooklyn and the service was friendly and attentive. The establishment isn't overly decorated or saturated with themed decor but has subtle hints of Thai culture throughout the restaurant which is nice. It has a cozy and intimate feel but it's super casual. On the menu:Mama Tom Yum grilled river prawnsCrying TigerShrimp DonutsDuck CrepeFloating marketWatermelon mojitoMango sticky riceThe food was delicious but the drinks were lacking in flavor as they both were unsweetened. Not sure if the bartender forgot an ingredient because both drinks were almost like drinking a seltzer. Very pretty but lacked flavor.Overall 9/10Ig: Thefunfluencer“
“I came down with an unspecified viral illness earlier this year which knocked me out for a solid week, and all I could muster the energy and appetite for was soup. I've had some great chicken soup uptown before (Salento in Washington Heights is amazing), but now that I've moved to the UWS, I was adrift once again. Some googling and yelping steered me toward Murray's Sturgeon Shop, so one day, I wrested myself from my sickbed and walked down to pick myself up some soup. The store is somewhat intimidating, as nothing is really laid out and you have to order everything over the counter, but I was able to convey my order pretty easily, and not long after, I had a frozen quart of chicken noodle soup in my possession. I guess they only sell their soups frozen, but they assured me it is frozen at peak freshness. It was $15 for the frozen quart, which felt kinda steep, but I justified it, because it could last multiple meals. I came out and let my frozen block defrost for a bit before I melted it on the stovetop. It took a while for the ice crystals to melt away, but soon enough, the warm and umami aroma of chicken soup began to emanate from my pot and penetrate my stuffed up olfactories. My frozen block made two portion of delicious soup, stuffed full of shredded chicken, carrots, and curly egg noodles. The best word I can use to describe the flavor of this soup is incredible DEPTH. Soup is not a good I often rave over, but this one is particularly good and flavorful. It cured me, just a little. Highly recommend when you're ill and craving your mother's cooking/comfort, but you're actually a grown adult who thousands of miles away from your childhood home so you just have to shell out $15 for someone else's grandma to make soup and sell you a frozen block of it. I haven't tried their fish, but based on the other reviews, I'm curious about it! Nothing in the store looked particularly nice or clean (it just looked a little musty as old delis often do), and like I mentioned, the counter is somewhat intimidating, but Murray's has the vibe of an old time establishment that knows what they're doing and does it well.“
“We had a wonderful event at For U, the food is absolutely delicious, I keep thinking about the cucumber salad it’s so crunchy and tastes so good, the sesame noodles are flavorful and so good, delicate and delicious version of that dish, the best I have ever had. And the Peking duck is divine. It’s a wonderful place for a party, they work with you to make it really special. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the space is warm and beautiful. We had a wonderful time and will go back for dinner very soon.Dietary restrictions: Our event served vegan and vegetarian options as well as standard fare“
“This was my first time here and absolutely loved it. It’s got a nice casual atmosphere, friendly servers, and large portions of great food. I started with the crispy spring rolls which were decent but it was the pho that really did it for me. These are some large bowls so you’re definitely getting value here. But they don’t sacrifice quality - the broth was super flavorful with perfectly cooked noodles and lots of tender meat. I usually get the pho my first time at a Vietnamese place but really want to come back to try their banh xeo which is pretty rare to find in NYC.“
“What caught my eye here is the pandara road wala butter chicken. Now pandara road in delhi has some renowned restaurants and having been to gulatis recently, I was intrigued. It definitely was not a letdown, some of the tastiest butter chicken I’ve had in the states. Moong dal halwa was a banger as “
“Came here for a restaurant week dinner with a group of 6. Place is very clean and modern. Has an upscale vibe. Servers were extremely kind and patient. The restaurant allowed us to be seated even when there was only one person in the party there. Servers also knew the menu very well. Food was superb and beautifully presented. Seafood was fresh and tasty, but some of the nigiri came with too much wasabi. The steak was perfectly cooked and came with an incredible truffle sauce underneath. I only wish I had more! Drinks are pricy but well crafted, flavorful, and came in sophisticated glassware. Would definitely come back.“
“Tender meat, picture perfect and tastes amazing. We ordered the sesame chicken donburi and Kuu chili ramen. Good portion, attentive service. We ate at the small bar, but some seats/stools have backs, which is great if you've been walking around NYC all day like we have. THEY HAVE HANGERS FOR YOUR PURSE/ BAGS. Hunger is the best spice, but there's nothing else I can add to Kuu! It's wonderful.“
“We ate the lobster sandwich, the flavor of it is spectacular, however, I missed a little more sauce and perhaps a slight tempering of the sandwich as a whole, I imagined it to be somewhat more tempered. The price of the product is high, but there is no such thing as a cheap lobster. It is worth making a stop at this place.“
“Food is authentic. The waiters can be a bit abrasive. The portion of food is humongous! Prices are $12-$15 per plate. Very tiny place, and it's super warm down there. If you're claustrophobic, I wouldn't suggest this place! Lol!“
“What a phenomenal surprise! I had this restaurant marked from an article I read, and had lunch there solo. The dining room is very small and I took the last table. The flavors and textures were balanced, memorable, and unique. I've never had Burmese food before, and the menu was a great glimpse into the flavor profile. I only wish I could have tried everything on the menu! They are cash-only as of this writing, so come prepared. If you ever need to expand, come on up to the Upper West Side please!“
“This is a really interesting place with really interesting cuts of seafood and preparation. The place looks like another sushi place but it isn't; don't be fooled. The chefs are interesting and friendly. I'll definitely come back.“
“Too bad it can't expand. It's crowded no matter what time you go. Sometimes, there is a line out the door and down the block in all kinds of weather. Portions are generous; expect to take some home unless you're ravenous. However you see it, eat in or take home, Katz's is an experience!“
“To begin with, you will have to check the menus (plural because they hand you like 5) every menu has different options, from appetizers to desserts and alcoholic drinks. The service was very nice, the place looks good and the best part is the food due to its flavor, so delicious. It's somewhat affordable depending on your appetite.“
“The owner is welcoming the wings fried hard pack with favor. He let us sample the house sangria which was delicious. This spot doesn’t miss a beat with the menu options. Rocket fuel is definitely a hidden gem and highly recommended for anyone that what to try new original favors. Last but not least stand of experience is was when I told the owner I was feeling the teriyaki sauce the cook in real time fix the recipe to my personal liking, now I’m forever a customer.“
“Saw this place pop up on my feed with their big bowls of udon so we had to come try it. Curry udon was delicious!! This place was huge and wasn’t too crowded when we went during lunchtime. It was, however, very hard to flag down someone to take our order.“
“Found on a hot day walking back from Central Park. Got a pitcher of beer for $17 which went down a storm. Great value. Waitress were ok, but (I'm going to be honest here) a little abrupt with us - not sure if it was because we were from out of town (British) because she was lovely as can be to other American customers. But this isn't an unusual thing to have happened to us on this trip ? But we loved the atmosphere of the place and the other patrons ?“
“My partner and I came to celebrate his birthday. They made it so very special and even gifted us a dessert with a birthday candle! We consider ourselves foodies and were absolutely in awe of the experience. The service was incredible - kind, attentive staff - the vibes were calm and warm, and the food OH. MY! It was heavenly. I cannot recommend the Lobster Ghee Roast enough. Get the garlic naan and some rice on the side. You will be in heaven!Definitely will be returning and recommending plenty. Do give Chola a try!“
“So I just realized I never took any photos of my food when I ordered from this restaurant but it was very good so I wanted to leave a review. I placed an order with grub hub and ordered the grilled pork chops and white rice. It tasted like it came right off the grill. I also ordered the wings with garlic sauce. The wings were okay but the grilled pork chops were so good I didn't even care about the wings so much. I'd definitely order from here again.“
“I was blown away. I got the beautiful tri-colored tofu with spicy pork and had some of my friend’s perilla seed and mushroom sundubu. You can definitely taste that this tofu is house-made and so special. The staff were very attentive and my overall dining experience was wonderful. I will be craving this again until I come back!“
“These soups are quite tasty! There's always a line outside, even when it's freezing outside in the thick of winter. Not just me, but I've noticed that people queue up for this soup nonstop, and they have a fantastic service system in place. A+“
“Cuban restaurant in Bergenfield, NJ Cuban family restaurant in New Jersey with ample parking space. My wife and I were greeted and served with great kindness by an efficient and bilingual staff. The restaurant is spacious, and its ambiance is refined. Its décor combines a display of original works by Cuban painters and Oriental vases. The menu, prepared by a Cuban chef, is diverse, with various starters, main courses, and desserts. As main course I ordered lacón, the kind I remembered eating in Cuba, which is not easy to find in New York. My wife had sea bass. Our dishes were all very good. We were very pleased. My wife favorite was a starter called “Discovery”. I particularly enjoyed the flan. Our only recommendation has to do with the music, which was only Salsa while we were there. In our opinion, the addition of other types of Cuban music could enhance the experience. The owners do not have a liquor license yet. Forewarned, we were able to bring our own bottle of wine. We had a great time. Highly recommended.“
“Say word... Please say word. I'm from Newark and it's only 2 Soup spots... Heavenly Delight on Elizabeth Ave that closes soon as there soup run out and that's normally by 9-9:30 Then there's the Soup Factory Yessss the Soup Factory yummy amazing. Go try for ya self..“
“This is the remaining half of the Salvatore (Italian sub). Overall rating: 10. Bread was superb in flavor and softness with fresh ingredients and excellent proportions for perfect sandwich ratio. Service: Exquisite. Customers/atmosphere: all regulars who are friendly and excited to talk about how passionate they are of Angelina’s food. Final takeaway: Hidden gem. Go!“
“When looking online for a great place to eat in NYC before a New York Rangers game, Baodega was one of the top picks. I'm so glad I went there. The food was outstanding and filling. There was no need to grab something after the Rangers game. The next time I'm in New York City, I will return there to try the other food they offer.“
“An excellent place to eat, especially when it's coldPrice:Lobster soup: $12 (small cup) (without alcohol)Lobster roll: $18The soup is more than sufficient and consistent (the small bowl) and there are others starting at $8 so a real good dealAnd if you like the Lobster Roll (mini lobster sandwich) like me, you won't regret it ?In short, both are deliciousDisadvantages:No possibility of eating on site and no toiletsYou can see my vlog on my YouTube channel Travel With Faycal“
“Living in NY for over 30yrs then moving to NJ, it's hard to find good pho places. Just moved into town and heard good reviews of the place and had to find out for myself. I gotta say, its as good as it gets. Spring rolls came out freshly cooked to order and pho was on point too. Will def go back to try their cubed steak dish next time. Apologies for the pic, my wife is horrible at taking food pics lol.“
“The food was so good! I’ve been to Bangkok and Phuket, plenty of times and this place really captures the authentic art of Thai cuisine. Will definitely be returning to try more of what’s on their menu!Parking: Plenty of spots around the restaurant.“
“Great place for a lobster roll! I ordered the warm buttery roll 6oz., and it was delicious! Nice size chunks of lobster, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The roll wasn’t super dense either and made it a perfect lunch for me. Wasn’t left hungry. Will just give the FYI, bit pricey for a small shop and not really much seating. But would say it was worth it!“
“It was so good. I had the lobster roll flight. Didn’t know what to expect and was very satisfied. Soooo good, sooo fresh, the lobster bisque soup I decided to pour some of that over my lobster sandwiches…amazing! That spicy honey pepper flake one…amazing! The bread toasted to perfection and light buttery goodness. oh my god. Oh and the bathroom was clean. The guy who was serving us last night was welcoming and kind. Thank you.“
“Dropped by today for lunch, got a grilled eggplant wrap. Full of flavor, super juicy and as thick as a baseball. Fresh mozz, arugula, grilled eggplant, sun dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers and a balsamic fig glaze on a whole wheat wrap. This and a can of soda was $14.24. Good stuff!“
“My daughter and I grab dinner here regularly. The food is great (Darren makes what is quite possibly the best kids grilled cheese on the planet), but the real joy is the people. Darren, Kiki, and Eddie are among the most kind and generous people you'll find on this earth and every week they make us feel like family. That's what keeps us coming back. Also, the job they did decorating the place for the holidays is incredible! Worth the price of admission by itself. But go even when it's less festive.“
“Cape Cod has been open for 2 months. The attention to detail reminds me of high level luxury dining. The chef was very attentive and the staff was extremely friendly. This restaurant came as a surprise to us.Please come here. Treat your spouse. Korean or not, this is a fine establishment. Has Michelin vibes. Loved the food“
“I love lobster rolls and this is one my favorite places to get ‘em. It aint cheap at 34 bucks per roll and just one is never enough for me. I love how they post the source of todays seafood at the front counter (see pic). I know that my lobster rolls came from “Portland Pier, Maine” today. The quality of the service and the food is always superior. This restaurant has the vibe of a small lobster shack and sometimes there’s no guarantee of a seat - in that case we’ll just take our food down the block to Union Square. This store is in a prime location with a huge CitiBike docking station right in front.“
“Give it a try. Food tastes homemade, like your Polish grandma made it, or if you're not Polish and had a childhood friend who was, like that friend's mama made it. Food is made fresh every day. You can get some traditional hot Polish foods, pierogi, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa/kraut, potato pancakes, and you can get some non-traditional hot foods, Goulash, chicken cutlet...w/mashed. You can buy kielbasa and pierogis to cook yourself at a future date, and fresh sauerkraut. Lots of imported Polish goodies, and if you don't know what they are, just ask.Fresh deli meats and cheeses. Try a sandwich!Extremely friendly owner, working hard to earn your dollar. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy.“
“Burp Bowl is a complete hole in the wall, but the food is incredibly delicious and authentic. Seriously, it feels like you're stepping into a restaurant in China. I've been numerous times now and my favourites are their beef noodle soup, which has a savoury beef broth and tender chunks of beef, and the sliced beef tripe appetizer, which has notes of sweetness and spiciness. The beef trip noodle soup and pork tongue were also great, but not as good as the beef noodle soup and sliced beef tripe appetizer.I did not like the wontons in chili oil, since it literally just came in a bowl of oil.And if you're a vegetarian, they have a delicious veggie noodle soup, which pairs super well with the chili crisps they have in-house.“
“I am a professional chef of 15 years. From the second you walk in you are greeted by name and tended to throughout by discreet attentive staff. The atmosphere has several rooms to choose from that provide a different feeling as you enter and go through. Providing options of formality. I chose the back. Absolutely pleased with my decision. My wife and I plan to go back again and again. Of all the places we’ve been throughout the Burroughs, this has become she and I’s secret culinary getaway. I do not care for fluff reviews, but this is well earned. I write this over a week later on the train to work if that tells you anything. Cheers!Vegetarian options: Plenty:)“
“Nice place to grab ramen on a cold night on the upper Westside if you live in the neighborhood. Very friendly staff, good food, quick service. They were killing it on takeout orders while I was there.Wheelchair accessibility: No step into the restaurant. Very wheelchair accessible.“
“Ari Sushi is a hidden gem in the city, offering an authentic and high-quality sushi experience. The chefs are skilled and attentive, and the menu features a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it a great spot for a date or special occasion. Overall, Ari Sushi is a must-try for any sushi lover in NYC!“
“This spot compared to the other healthy food places is def less salty (because it won’t be healthy food if there’s too much sodium ). The bowls are delish, I would have given it 5 stars ⭐️ if only the veggies were less salty, could use salt reduction to ensure the health factor of the meal. New York restaurants have a salt problem this is why we turn to healthy spots like this one!“
“Delicious and good price. I could smell the meat from outside and that’s what attracted me in.You get half a roasted duck 烧鸭 for 16 and a large amount of char siu 叉烧 meat for only 12 a pound. Rice is 1.5. Both were delicious.Service was very quick too, I ordered and in a couple of seconds I was walking out.“
“The girls who serve. They are very active, attentive to the client, and they are very paisas, regardless of where Sean is from. From the place where they come from Colombia. Because they put effort into their work. Like some good country then.!!!“
“Staff is extremely friendly, chicken pot pie soup is amazing! Steak tacos are amazing as well! Cheese empanada was super gooey and delicious. Can't wait to go back. Huge soup selection with dietary restriction clearly marked for each soup. Easy to figure out what you can have.“
“The easiest place to eat vegetarian. It’s so flavorful and everything has been 10/10. I tried their cashew ricotta and pear with honey drizzle, amazing. Their lentil soup; amazing. Their cauliflower stew, so good. Everything is amazing here. If you’re looking for a switch up on your diet, I can’t think of a better place. Feels amazing to eat something tasty but not feel bloated and tired after. So good! New favorite local spot“
