“The Crystal Plaza is such an Iconic wedding venue! Any time I get to photograph a wedding here it is such a treat! All of the staff is so great and on top of things and the upgrades they made to the inside of the building really makes it shine!The back area where they have ceremonies and where you can do photos makes my life as a wedding photographer so much easier as its filled with so many great options for breath taking photos! “Got here late but better late than never. 4 donuts left. I bought 3 maple bacon. . Crispy bacon on a maple frosted old fashioned donut was delicious. Sometimes a maple bacon can be greasy but these donuts were not. Perfection. I will definitely come back to try more of their donuts. Parking out front on street. Open until 2PM on weekend. “Most people are probably familiar with the superb catering of Jane and Maggie, but please don't forget they offer meals for lunch and dinner. Of course, they are wonderful, but one of the side benefits is that Maggie Cooks helps you prepare better meals at home. When I had the trio of stuffed vegetables for dinner, I realized that sometimes more seasoning is better than less. After I tasted my wife's roasted salmon sandwich with basil mayonnaise and caramelized onions, I realized there is more than salmon salad. One unadvertised special is that every meal comes with a tiny and absolutely delicious dessert. Hire them for the holidays, but don't forget Maggie and Jane when you're thinking about what to have for lunch or dinner, too. Since our first dinner two years ago, they have become a part of our weekly dining experience and we have never been disappointed.“

From the drop off of the food for 125 guests to the pick up and everything in between was handled with such professionoalism and positivity. “The wedding venue is beautiful. The food was great especially the desert the outside grounds are so beautiful for pictures. It place was really clean and just a great place to have a wedding. Joe'l was amazing!!! Cannot say enough about Joe'l super nice very professional, accommodating !! Cannot say enough about her. My only complaint was the attendance that took care of my daughter..... or should I say was supposed to take care of her. They did help with pictures etc... they asked many times if we needed additional help but I had to go to clean the room can we have more champagne that should be done automatically I should not have had to run up and down stairs to ask to have a room tidied up and also to get more champagne also we had to ask for hot coffee.,. My biggest disappointed was the mai'tred at the wedding not once came up to my husband or I or even the bride or groom once asking us if we needed a drink he introduced himself said he was there to help us after that no show. We waited on long lines just to get a drink. My other daughter's wedding we were waited on hand and foot. Especially the bride and groom should have been treated differently. lastly a little disappointed my baskets for the bathroon were never put out again I had to find the attendance to ask for them that something I should not have to do. When we received the baskets back they were empty there was no way every wedding guest took everything out of the baskets just kinda strange they wold keep everything????? Again the hall is great, amazing ......but the staff running the wedding questionable. If you go ask for Joe'l you will love her!!!! She's the best!!! She actually was getting the parents of the bride a drink she saw me waiting on line so that tells you a lot about her.“

We had a bartender and 3 servers for passed hors d'oevres while Chris and his team worked their magic behind the scenes. “I am a very happy repeat client of Domenick Rizzo Catering! In early June, I hired Dom to host an upscale cocktail party to celebrate my son's law school graduation. Dom and his team are amazing! He is so easy to collaborate with, worked within my budget, and came up with such fun and innovative ideas. Ex: doing cool drink pairings to accompany each of the passed hors d'oeuvres. So we had Shrimp ceviche with fresh mango and avocado paired with a white sangria shot, Black bean and roasted corn empanada's with a chipotle creme paired with a margarita shot, lobster rolls paired with a shot of sam adams beer, Hoison pork belly Boa Buns paired with a shot of Japanese beer, and so much more, including grill stations and beautifully displayed grazing tables. “Phenomenal First Time Experience at Sacco's Meat Market. This is a straight throwback to old school Italian American culture. The owner was so helpful and cheerful. I can only speak for the food I tried from the hot food area, but the rest of this friendly family-owned establishment is devoted to the Eastern European goods and groceries they also sell--dried, frozen, and fresh! FOOD: Meat Piroshki ($1.50/ea): Each one is large and stuffed well! I opted for the meat filling (lamb), but they also have cheese and vegetable fillings. The pastry itself is flaky, while the minced lamb was balanced in taste. Cream of Mushroom Soup (MP): My order was PACKED with large slices of mushrooms! I'd be full even if this cup of soup was the only thing I ordered; it's very filling. The base has a good consistency--it's not watery but not thick either. Like the piroshki, the flavors are balanced. Ukrainian Stuffed Cabbage ($5.99): I've never had stuffed cabbage before, but I'm glad I tried it this time. The rolls are small, but they're flavorful and stuffed with plenty of tender meat. It came with a container of sour cream, which was a good match and complimented the sweetness. They offer an assortment of appetizers, sandwiches, salads. and breakfast items, as well. I'm intrigued by the Azerbaijani and Georgian dishes listed on their menu, so I'll return to try those during my next visit.“
