“Definitely a five star experience!!! We arrived just before happy hour ended (4-5:30) and they were kind enough to place a quick order of oysters!!! They were super fresh and delicious... favs were west coast (sorry NJ). Next, came the Parker rolls!!! Probably my favorite part of the meal, but then again, who doesn't like homemade, freshly baked rolls with buttered top and a touch of salt!!! Because everything looked so good, we opted for a bunch of other appys to start! The New Zealand angus beef bites were served with horseradish aioli and a Parker roll, the halloumi cheese was accompanied by orange slices, prosciutto, radicchio and dehydrated olives. The octopus was spectacular... crispy with romanesco sauce, fried chickpeas, cilantro and paprika breadcrumbs. Of course, we had to also try the OHS mussel pot... with chorizo, saffron, garlic cream, sun dried tomatoes... and an herbed garlic roll on top!!! LOVED THEM ALL! It's not often that so many different, but complimentary flavors are presented in each dish!!! We could have stopped our meals there and would have been pleasantly satisfied and full! Next, we chose a couple of the sirloin sandwiches with fries, and the squid ink pasta with Calabrian chili and Meyer lemon breadcrumbs!!! All was very good. The evening was finished with 3 of their delicious desserts... the lemon meringue tart was the perfect sweet with a pucker. The molten dark chocolate cake was decadent. And the trio of gelatos were each so uniquely flavorful and delicious! Wow!!! Given that 100 steps is a BYOB, it makes everything even more affordable! We had spectacular service in this beautiful restaurant with amazing food! It was quite a special evening!“

“Came here for darts. Dart boards are in the back room which is great for the leagues. As each table is for a team. One server for the whole night which was great cause he came by very often. I've stopped in about 2-3 times for drinks and appetizers. The food has always been very tasty. Little on the pricey side. On a positive note, you're only a few steps away from the theater. As of now, I've had Chicken Sausage Appetizers and a Steak Quesadilla. Nice wine and cocktail list. We've enjoyed their wine and cocktails on a previous visit. In December '23, I had an issue making reservations. Left two telephone messages and never received a call back. I couldn't even make a reservation on Opentable or Resy. We stopped in and informed the hostess of the issue. Anyway, we ended up eating at the bar. The Carriage House Restaurant does offer Cabaret and Murder Mystery shows.“

I thought the service was very good in terms of attentiveness. The food we got was flat bread pizza for appetizer, pepperoni with hot honey was delicious. The burger tasted great cooked perfectly when I ordered a medium, presentation was nice as I ordered a salad instead of French fries. Most importantly they had Aqua Pana for water. The best of the two was the Corn Beef Hash Breakfast Wrap! The Corn Beef was extremely flavorful and the potatoes they added to the wrap were seasoned and tender. There are no waiters, tables or chairs, just a big dance floor near the stage and a bar so everybody was dancing and having fun. “With a charcuterie board, seven cheese mac and cheese and double decker grilled cheese on the menu this place takes cheese seriously. I had the double decker and will go back for the mac and cheese if I get a chance. The tap list is average but they did have a few interesting choices in cans. I’m not a whisky drinker but they did have a lot of whisky so if that’s your drink of choice you can enjoy a good whisky with your choice if cheesy goodness. The music was a little loud but not so much that you couldn’t talk to someone. There is also a good amount of pool tables.“

The store itself is barebones minimal decoration with some wall attached table tops to eat at and not much else but I hardly eat in and prefer takeout.One minor issue is the 16 Oz bowls they use can be quite difficult to separate the lid from the bowl. It's not normally a prolonged problem with some work but I've had a number of instances with older adults not being able to remove the lid because of the lack of any way to grip the lid or bowl separately. This could be remedied with a simple tab on the lid and bowl but they just don't have it.Either case, Orgreen is a solid take out place with decent ingredients and nice variety. Service is fast & accurate. Each meal will fill you up nicely.“
