The wings were large, super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, nicely seasoned. The al dente spiral macaroni held onto the generous amount of creamy and yummy cheese sauce. “I have to say I really enjoy The Thirsty Turtle. Although it's a sports bar and you think it might just be cool to watch a game, the food and staff are excellent and professional. We went the other night and met friends for dinner and it was a fantastic experience! The waiter, (I don't remember his name), but he memorized our order and everything came out perfect! We had appetizers, burgers, beer & drinks, and enjoyed everything we ate and drank. I also have to call out Manny who went above and beyond in helping me. He is smart and knows how to treat customers. Any establishment should be lucky to have him!“

“Family wanted an authentic St Pat day meal, and I didn't want to get ripped off or fend off the too happy celebrants so we headed to Obal's early for lunch. Their StPat menu is simple. Corned beef cabbage sandwich or AYCE platters. At $16 for the platter option and $17 pitcher of beers, we were all happy. Also $6 guinesses and $17 beer pitchers (limited but Labatts was available, my choice). Good service, multiple folks checked in often to see if we needed anything and more platters. Me being the glutton, obviously got my money's worth ;) Got to witness the bagpipe band (2 pipers and drumer), celebrated with the locals (we got hats and necklaces), seated right away in the booths (also back room and outside tables were available). Family friendly, full of locals, good kitchen and decent taps at good prices. While we didn't look Irish, we were welcomed as one at Obal's. We had a good StPat's celebration here. We will be back.“
“Cool place for a pint and nachos. There was a live band in the area by the entrance, but if you're sitting anywhere near there you can barely hear yourself speak. The place is pretty big and there are bars in every section of the restaurant, so there is plenty of room to spread out. I don't know if staff were just running a little slower that night but, for some reason, our drinks kept taking a little too long to order and to get brought to table. Good variety of beers on tap, cocktails were ok, an old fashioned came out off tasting. Again, I would go for a burger and beer or uncomplicated cocktails, that is, whatever is their signature drink. Great place for a night out with a group of friends.“

“This was on my list to visit and I was able to do so today. I had dinner there and the steak was good but wish it came out warmer... I think it was waiting for my friend's salmon to be cooked as her food was hotter. The mash potatoes was hot though. The espresso martini was good definitely deserves a return. Service was absolutely excellent. Mauricio was pleasant, personable, and charming also funny.Overall lovely place I would return to, for sure..maybe they have brunch I'll need to check but then again maybe not as it opens at 4 pm.Parking: There is a parking lot but it doesn't look huge and it's across the street from the establishment.. “When it comes to food, I am a big food snob. I've been living in Staten Island for 34 years and I passed this place when it was Rusty's a million times. I met a colleague of mine for drinks and food here and it did not disappoint. The prices were fair, the place was new and fresh, inclusive of the bathroom (this is very important LOL). The drinks had a generous pour of booze and the food was excellent. Reading thru some of the bad reviews, they may have had a couple of off nights however none of them made sense to me. We both ordered a roast beef sandwich. I had the South Shore. It was fantastic. The beef was juicy, the bread fresh, everything was great. In addition to a pair of roast beef sandwiches, we ordered a hot pretzel and the apple-cinnabon dessert. Everything was great. In addition to this, we got to chat with Edward who had just started his shift serving us animals (he was a gentleman) as well as Rusty (former owner of Rusty's) who gave us a little history lesson on the transition of Rusty's to Point Tavern. I will definitely be back again as it was a good place to have a drink or have some drinks and grab some good pub food. There is a bar area, separate dining area as well as an outdoor space. The surrounding streets offer ample street parking.“

“The other day I got, La Galera Centro Americana Restaurant, for lunch. I ordered their Meatballs w/ Black Rice & Red Beans. It was absolutely delicious! I asked the lady for more veggies than rice, and she happily obliged. I really loved their Meatballs, and also the Red Beans. Excellent flavors to combine. The ladies at the front desk were really nice and attentive. It seems like a nice, quaint, family type of place to eat. And for just a little over $10 was a complete steal. I’d def try this place again, their other menu items looked phenomenal. I’d also recommend to anyone in the, City of Orange, area looking for some decent Spanish food.“
“We met our friends here on a Friday night. Nice Irish pub. Not very busy at all for a Friday night, no problem getting a table. Our friends had eaten already so they just had drinks. My husband & I had cheesesteak & French dip sandwich, both were really delicious. Our server was very nice,friendly, food came out very quick. I normally hesitate to order roast beef sandwiches because sometimes, its really stringy, this meat was delicious & piled high. I opted for mashed potatoes instead of fries, so good“
“This was my first time here. A great little bar that extends to the back where there is a pool table. There is also a dart game on the wall and mini soccer game, which people were using. The space is very clean and well decorated. When we got there we waited about 15min before anyone spoke to me and my wife. There was a little crowd there. We then realized it was the owner, mike's birthday. Everyone was singing happy birthday to him. We ordered drinks, a beer and bacardi for $13 total then a buffalo chicken pizza for $8. $20 minimum to use card. Mike later introduced himself to us and frequently made small talk. He seems like a very good guy who tries to make a bond with his customers. He explained to us how the business was going, a little about himself, introduced us to his family and even offered us jello shots and a shot of liquor on the house, oh and some cake. I would definitely go back here. He makes you feel welcomed. Nice place, good price, good manager.“

Once I received my drink, in a timely manner, another employee Noah greeted me and started a lovely conversation. Overall, I had a great experience and will certainly be coming back.
