The chicken teriyaki box is a great deal served fresh with fantastic flavor and came with so many delicious sides. I also tried a couple of sushi rolls and seems like you can't go wrong with any options. I haven't had fresh cuts of fish like that anywhere else! Definitely recommend!”

“Phenomenal. I can’t get over how sweet the lady who attended us was. This is the first restaurant I’ve been to where i felt as if the food was truly made with love. The food itself was absolutely delicious, and the price was very reasonable. My friend and I ordered the fried chicken, tteokbokki, and bulgogi kimbap. The portions were perfect, we finished ALL of it (and licked our fingers clean). Their plates are also so cute if I may add. I will definitely bring all of my friends here when they visit Teaneck.”

“Place is a hidden treasure. Food is outstanding! The waiters were very welcoming, funny and very attentive without rushing us before we could ask for anything they were right there. The owner is super sweet with a beautiful personality. He makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food was phenomenal every dish was seasoned perfectly and portions were plentiful. The prices very reasonable for the service and food quality they provide. This is so far our favorite Italian cuisine restaurant I'm so glad we live close by we will be back. “I come here atleast once a week and my boyfriend comes here 2-3 times a week. All of their croissants are amazing. I love the apple and the almonds croissant. My boyfriend is obsessed with the chocolate croissants. I believe all of them are under $4 which is pretty good considering how large they are. They also have coffee, juice, cake, cookies, arepas and breakfast platers. Great for a quick bite before work. Been coming here for a little over a year.”

“My four year old was adamant that he wanted a rocket ship ice cream cake for his birthday. I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy. I will always place cake orders with you guys!”

“They are always busy and it's only because their food is worth the wait, so order with anticipation. They are super hospitable. If you need utensils, condiments, or even fortune cookies they're in a basket for your service. Yes, I have friends that say they're pricey, but when the food is prepped and taste the way it does from Chopstix, U will understand. My mother will only eat Chinese food from here (We're Latinos) and I'm 41yrs old, she will not have it anywhere else. Thank you guys for the superbness service!”

“We ordered delivery off of the website, the food came quick and everything we tried was delicious! If you’re new to the area and trying to find your Chinese food spot, definitely give this one a try. We ordered Wonton soup, General Tso combo with pork fried rice, wings combo with house special fried rice, boneless spareribs, and egg rolls. To me the wonton soup was perfect, not super salty like you get from other places, and the wontons were hearty and tasty. The general tso combo was the perfect amount of food, it made two meals for me and had the perfect amount of spice for me as it’s normally made. If you like spicier you could probably request that. My husband loved the wings and the house special fried rice. The boneless spareribs were really really good, I’ve ordered them from other places and there’s always an after taste, here they’re cooked perfectly. The only thing we noticed was the egg rolls did seem to be a bit oily inside, but other than that also very tasty.”

“To me, Thai food is like Chinese takeout. There are restaurants everywhere, but it's difficult to find a place that does it exceptionally well. On a night when my husband and I found ourselves craving some Thai food, we took a chance on the Yelp algorithm of suggestions and landed at the Thai Shack's door.

The weekday lunch special is a great deal. A light salad and spring roll are served with some preselected entrees, and it's here I have to give the peanut dressing some hearty props. I don't know what they put in that sauce, but it was all I could do to keep myself from licking that little bowl clean. For our entrees, we both went with noodles. I was initially disappointed that the serving size seemed smaller than expected, but don't let the plate fool you - it's enough. At least, it was for me because I felt full well before I reached the bottom. My beef pad see ew was incredible, with tender pieces of beef and a delectable sauce that made me want to spoon it over rice. My husband also liked his pad thai, with lots of soft chicken pieces. If we had any compunctions with our meal, it was that our noodles were a little heavily sauced and teetering just slightly on the salty side.

Service here is friendly. That, along with the cozily dressed interior, makes dining in a pleasure. I was especially appreciative that water glasses are filled from water bottles instead of tap (say what you want about food in Jersey, but the taste of its unfiltered tap water is absolute trash). The kind woman who took our order was open to small customizations (such as undressed salad and added spice in my pad see ew, which is normally presented as a non-spicy dish).”

“Appreciation post😃 Since 4 days my freshly turned teenage daughter has been saying one thing when I ask her what you want to do on New Year’s Eve …” I want to have kudos bubble tea as the last thing I drink in 2022”. It’s been a tough few months for her and i wanted to make sure she gets her wish. So yesterday morning I called kudos. Asked when they will close for the day. They said 10pm. We scheduled all our plans in such a way that at 9pm we go and get the much anticipated bubble tea. At 9 my husband, son and daughter headed out to kudos… only to find that they have closed at 7 for a private event. This is my back story. On the other side of the story… which probably has its own back story… Cherie the owner had shut the bakery as her daughter wanted to celebrate with her friends and family. As a mother myself I can totally understand that. When she saw my family she informed them that they are closed. But when she heard we had called in morning and saw my daughters dejected face… she opened her doors. Made a quick bubble tea and even gave some extra cookies as a New Years treat. My kids came back so happy saying “mommy it was a holiday miracle!” Thank you Kudo Society Cafe. For providing us one last 2022 miracle. Thank you Cherie for understanding. We have been Kudos patrons since it was at palisades park but now we are die hard advocating neighbors of yours. Ps: pic of the cookie treat. My son ate the red velvet on way home.”

I have eaten Soul Food, from way South to NYC, in homes and restaurants and Maggie's rates up there with some of the most delicious, I've had.
