“A cute and cozy cafe that makes the best croissants and matcha lates.This place is beautifully decorated, great customer service and their cookies and cupcakes are pieces of art.The building address is on Irving Ave but the entrance is by Jefferson Ave. ?I highly recomend it!P.S.: I would like to see a bigger sign that stand up and make the business a little more visible for public. ?“
“Our wedding guests continue to tell us how great our desserts were—even many months later! So we had to make sure to send our thanks to Baked!We had a cutting cake with two different flavors: Oopsy Daisy on the top, Sweet and Salty on the bottom. Then we sent out platters of cupcakes to our tables of those flavors, plus a mix of others. Additionally, we were able to serve some gluten-free and vegan options for guests with dietary restrictions. Annemarie really helped us work through all the details beforehand, and everything turned out perfect on the day of. Again, we cannot thank them enough!Expect us to come back often, and especially on our anniversary, to pick up some treats!“

“Went and got a few different baked goods. Flan and Chocolate chip cookie was absolutely DELICIOUS, the flan was sweet and smooth and the chocolate chip was soft and not too sweet. Caramel apple cupcake was super cute and tasty. Haven't had the chocolate cupcake yet but it looks absolutely lovely. Only thing was the pistachio macaron was okay, might have just been a bad batch. Overall very tasty and glad I gave it a stop!“
“I highly recommend Goldelicious Cakes for custom cakes and cupcakes. Not only is Jennifer so skilled at baking, she is also thoughtful, friendly, and super easy to communicate with. For my son’s first birthday, she helped create the most memorable orange cake with coordinating cupcakes. Pick-up was easy breezy and the packaging was great and kept the baked goods perfectly in place for the hour drive back home. Jennifer’s creations were such a hit with our friends and family. The blueberry compote filled vanilla cake was scrumptious. I wish I ordered a larger size! The cupcakes had an elegant touch and were incredibly tasty too. You know it’s delicious when there are no leftovers! Goldelicious beyond exceeded my expectations and I’m already looking forward to future orders.“

Slow churned treats include several dairy and non dairy flavors (on a rotating basis), with just enough flavors to keep your taste buds wanting more. Never have we been disappointed. The staff are always friendly, and there is usually more than enough, even in the smallest sizes, to please your desires. If you have a big appetite (or a hungry partner), the cookie sandwich with freshly baked cookies and a massive helping of ice cream, is a favored order.“
“I ordered a chocolate, strawberry and hazelnut cake for my boyfriends birthday and wow such an impressive cake. Super fresh, not overly sweet but bursting with flavor of a decadent chocolate balanced with all the other flavors. The hazelnuts were the perfect crunch and right amount. I love chocolate more than any other food lol and I’ve been vegan for years and tried many different vegan chocolate cake options and this seriously lands in the top 5. I felt someone who really understands their baking craft made this cake. My boyfriend felt the same way. Highly recommend.“

“Dreamer’s has been a favorite of mine since moving to the city! The owners Sandy and Dan make amazing coffee, and always have a smile on their face. We live in the neighborhood, and they always are sure to give us a wave when we pass the shop. Support little gems like this! Just tried their pumpkin spice latte too- 10/10“

“What a lovely little place!I went there with high hopes to try their desserts. When I ordered, the employees informed me it was cash only - which I did not have on me. I was about to walk away when they offered me a tea on the house (originally, I was going to have a tea and a pastry and read a little). They made me a cup of tea, so I sat on the cushioned window seat for a little. They were so nice, so professional. Definitely coming back to try the desserts as they looked so good.Thank you for this experience and kindness!“

“I ordered a custom cake from Lyndhurst Pastry Shop and it was perfect! They walked me through everything over the phone. They went above and beyond by adding flowers to the cake, just beautifully decorated. So delicious, too. The person on the phone was lovely, and the customer service in store when I went to pickup was amazing as well! Just super<3“
“Vegan baked goods??!! Let's give it a try. Dulce de leche - not too sweet at all, a good nutty flavor. Buttercream is not sweet and the cupcake itself is very moist Oreo - a bit dry on the outside, the buttercream has mashed up oreos in it, which doesn't make it creamy but with a crunchier texture. There isn't much of a chocolate taste. My least favorite Dark chocolate - the cupcake itself is on the dry side and less chocolate taste. The buttercream is smooth and a rich dark chocolate. Carrot cake - very moist and soft. You can see shaved pieces of carrots. I think it needs a pinch more of cinnamon. The cream cheese buttercream on top is on a sweeter side but really creamy. I didn't like the carrot decorations bc it's too much food coloring in it. Overall, I'm a fan of vegan cupcakes as it's not on the sweet side. There is a balanced ration of buttercream to cupcake. The chocolate cupcakes needs to be baked a bit less and need more chocolate taste.“

“I work for a law firm in CA and we have an employee who works remotely in NY.. For our employee's birthday I wanted to choose a bakery close to her home and who was local. Stumbled upon Buttercup Bake Shop and they were so awesome! Totally worked with me and delivered the cupcakes with NO hassle. Needless to say our NY employee was super happy and LOVED the flavors and decorations of the cupcakes. ❤️“

“Ordered a gorgeous 2 tiered cake for my daughters 3rd birthday (Under the THREE themed) and Bella vida did not disappoint! Not only was the cake aesthetically appealing, but it was delicious! Very light and moist, the cannoli filling was to die for, and the dulce de leche filling was fantastic! Extremely flavorful and the details were intricate and you can tell there is a real passion for baking! EVERYONE was raving about the cake and asking where I got it from. Simply delicious!! The atmosphere is quaint and inviting, making it the perfect spot to indulge in some delightful treats.I had the pleasure of trying their raspberry and chocolate cigars, and let me tell you, they were divine! Both were flakey and moist, bursting with flavor in every bite. The combination of raspberry and chocolate was simply heavenly, and I couldn’t get enough.In addition to the cigars, I also indulged in their chocolate-dipped pretzels. ? Each pretzel was expertly coated in rich chocolate, striking the perfect balance between salty and sweet. “Don't miss this jewel box of a bakeshop for celebrations both big and small! We ordered a lemon raspberry cake for a family celebration and it was such a big hit. Tall, elegant, and sprinkled with freeze-dried raspberries to hint at the flavor inside. It looked like the top tier of a wedding cake! Everyone was so impressed with it visually but once we tasted it, we all loved how moist and lemony it was. The guests were all raving about how balanced the buttercream was. The texture and sweetness was just right. The guest of honor even swiped some extra frosting off someone else's plate, which I've NEVER seen him do!In this day and age, everyone wants a cake that photographs beautifully. But sometimes a gorgeous cake will be too dry/dense or the frosting just tastes like colored butter. You never want a second piece. It really can be a lottery sometimes. But with this gorgeous, delectable cake we definitely hit the jackpot!Thank you, Carrie, for putting as much thought into the flavor as you did on the presentation. “I have nut allergies and am so so happy to have Baked Cravings!! The grab and go cake was perfect!! I waited too long to place a custom order and needed something that day. I added the option of birthday candles and then bought some strawberries to decorate it a bit. The flavor was rich but not too sweet. I think I actually prefer the taste of the cake not being completely iced and decorated!! It was a big hit with the party too. $60 for the cake and was able to get about 16 slices/servings from it. I will definitely be making the trip up from Brooklyn again in the future :)Dietary restrictions: Perfect for nut allergies!!“

She wanted three cakes (vanilla, chocolate, and the signature apple cake) designed to theme and this was perfection. I would have been happy enough because of how great they complemented the lavender butterfly theme, but they were so delicious there was almost nothing to take home! Definitely recommend!“
“I wanted something bunny related as a unique favor for my birthday party and Trina was so great to work with. She walked me through all her many options, was willing to do anything she could. Once I decided and ordered, she wrapped them beautifully and even put the tags I ordered on them for me when making them. Pick up was so easy the day before. They were reasonably priced considering how big and thick they were and quality chocolate. Every single guest thought they looked adorable and tasted amazing!“
“My favorite bakery ever. Get the sesame balls! Everybody is pretty nice too and speedy, it's busy in the mornings but I still got outta there in 15-ish minutes. The inside looks like a typical run of the mill bakery. They have a self serve area for bread pastries and then they serve you the dumplings/other bigger dishes. They've got great milk tea too!“

I was looking through the display and deciding what I wanted and another customer said "Their Brooklyn Blackout cupcake is literally the best" and boy was she right. And printed a picture of my friend for her bday. all under a 24 hour timeline which is what I needed. The cake was also DELICIOUS. Timeliness, and easy to pick up. Exactly how all cake shops should be. I wish there was a cakes by nerwan in DC where I am locally.“

“I can't give Sans Bakery enough compliments! Their service and care about items shipped is better than anyone I have dealt with past present and probably future.My sister wanted to order a Lamington cakes for my birthday. Brian made sure I was shipped what my sister had ordered; the six individual cakes that are wrapped(I thought it was the cake). However, UPS in their divine wisdom, deemed it necessary to ship them on a scenic tour. They didn't arrive on time for my birthday but that was NO FAULT of the bakery's. I want that to be perfectly clear. I reached out to Brian and while I was disappointed that I wouldn't get them on time he was so kind and empathetic that I couldn't stay upset for long. Again, I thought it was the regular cake and not the individual ones. Brian said he would ship replacements but once I saw they were the individual ones and confirmed they were still fine to eat, I was happy, my sister was happy, all was well. But Brian wasn't having it, he was unhappy that UPS failed us both. Imagine my surprise when a few days later I received another box of the Lamington cakes! I was not expecting that. I was perfectly fine with the outcome but Brian again is an amazing person and he didn't appreciate that this was a representation of his bakery by UPS's failings. So now I have plenty of Lamington cakes and they are freezable so I put a few away so I can enjoy them later.As far as being true Lamington cake like the original in Australia, it took me right back to Adelaide where I had my very first one! Oh my goodness they're so good! And did I mention they're gluten-free?!I cannot thank Brian and Sans Bakery enough for making my Unbirthday amazing and tickling my palette enough that I sent pictures to my cousin in Melbourne Australia taunting her a little.
