“Been ordering Chinese food here for at least 18 years. They have been a staple at birthday parties/family events, and a comfort to me on low days when I wanna be cozy. It’s always hot and fresh and fast! It’s great for a really inexpensive lunch too!My top choices~Shrimp and broccoli white sauceBeef and broccoliVegetable lo meinShrimp spring roll“
“10/10 highly recommend. Read about Potluck Club on the infatuation and they were spot on. Potstickers were delicious. The salt and pepper chicken was a first for me, but also delicious. And we had some noodle dish and added the hanger steak. Again delicious. Staff was so friendly and all busting their butts. Really nice to see them working as a team!“
“Arrived too early for our lunch reservations. Some of us were starved already, so checked Yelp for the best place to snack. This place was highly recommended. Easy to find, and many ways to search what we wanted. Most of us picked the #10 and I picked the #13 (fried bun). Took a bit for it to be ready but there were 5 orders to do at one shot. We decided to wait inside even though it was a tight fit. It was a little chilly outside. I think mostly, people order to pick up or have delivered. So the food was piping hot! But we didn't care, it was so good! And we had 3 different dipping sauces. The really spicy one my husband liked a lot. Two of us enjoyed the soy sauce one. My dad liked the sweet white sugar sauce. Everyone was so happy and we can't wait to return again. Definitely recommend.“
“Osmanthus smoked fish has a crispy skin and is slightly sweet! There is only one big bone in the middle, so you don’t have to worry about a lot of fish bones. Their braised pork is also delicious, and the fat meat is especially delicious!“
“Taking a bite from Wah Fung's roasted pork and duck rice plate quite literally changed my life. I had never had something so delicious, fresh, and perfectly spiced and sauced. I came to Wah Fung on a Wednesday afternoon while doing an NYC Chinatown food crawl. I was slightly scared when I arrived and there was a line out the door. However, I was in the store within 10-15 minutes where I was greeted by the sight of hanging meats and the smells of aromatic spices. After analyzing the different combinations of plates that I could choose from, I opted for a roasted pork and duck plate that also came with rice and cabbage and only cost $8.50. I wanted a variety of meats and so this was a great choice for me. The roasted pork was so incredibly tender and the duck was crispy and juicy. The sauce that they use to top off the plate kept every component of the plate moist and tasty. I highly recommend this plate for anyone who loves meat and is looking for some delicious food in Chinatown.“
“Found this late night gem after seeing Sweeny Todd at the theatre.Unfortunately, the kitchen was going to be closed in half an hour, so we only ordered the House Chicken Fried Rice, Shrimp Dumplings, and Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs. My only complaint is I wished we ordered more before the kitchen closed; it was all delicious!! ??The service was quick. Even the Jasmine tea served had a delicious flavour. We'll have to come back here the next time in NYC.“
“Generally I give the total five star to this restaurant considering its flavor, service and environment. The steamed pot chicken soup is super good I will definitely choose this every time, on top of that I like sugar cake and highly recommend it. Besides, tomato beef soup, Dai style stir fried beef are also nice to try.“
“We had a WONDERFUL time at Mala Project this week. Our server, Kyle, was extremely helpful in recommending ‘must haves’ for our appetizers, dry pot and, of course, drinks. We planned for only a quick bite to eat, but the atmosphere was so welcoming, we ordered more drinks and hung out for a while. Highly recommend this restaurant!“
“The restaurant was so cute inside. Very comfortable and spacious. The waiter was very kind and encouraged us to have fun. A manager brought us over to the downstairs club towards the end of the night where my friends and I enjoyed some tequila lemon drop shots. The shots were literally the size of a cocktail. The food was quite tasty. The pork dumplings and shrimp wontons were scrumptious and the lobster toast was the highlight of the entire menu!“
“Place is wonderful, great atmosphere, they will squeeze you in regardless of how busy they are. Btw this is our second day in a row eating here. We woke up this morning and couldn’t stop thinking about yesterday’s lunch. Dinner was amazing….hidden gem. BYOB ❤️“
“Omg Yelp revival?? Came here with a group of 5 after Spicy Moon rejected us and it was truly one of the best meals I've eaten this year in NYC :,) Service was so welcoming and the ambiance perfect as well (not too loud like the majority of other restaurants cough cough spicy moon cough cough and super pretty plates and bowls and nice jazz playing in the background) (jk we love spicy moon! they are rightfully busy) I know this review is off brand so will flesh this out with more words later ^^“
“Got the munchies? Want to satisfy it quickly and cheaply? This spot is for you. It is quick and cheap. Food is also fresh. People are going in and out so food won't get stale. The food is also tasty. They even have veggies for people who don't eat meat. If you're a straight up vegetarian then try the plain congee and the cilantro roll. Excellent! They also do custom orders. If straight up cilantro rice rolls is too plain, you can add egg, roast pork, or shrimp to spice it up. To skip the line, call the number so you'll be in and out.Vegetarian options: Cilantro rice roll, plain congeeParking: As you enter Elizabeth street from Canal Street, there is a parking garage 50 feet from the turn from Canal Street.“
“Ottimo ristorante di Ramen (giapponese e non quello "tarocco" o fatto con quello istantaneo del supermercato) che offre anche una fantastica selezione di ravioli. Prezzi tutto sommato accettabili per la media della città e acqua gratuita. Posto piccolo, accogliente, staff cordiale e velocissimo. Porzioni corpose quindi ordinate con cautela o non riuscirete a finire tutto.“
“Solid hot pot place! I came on a cold Friday night with a friend for dinner. We did make a reservation ahead of time just in case, but the restaurant is larger than it appears from the outside. You use the tablet at the table to place your order. It defaulted to Chinese, so you have to switch it to English if you can't read it. We were not totally sure what everything was on the menu based on just the names. Food/Drinks: This is a communal hot pot place, so there is one large pot in the center of the table for your party instead of individual hot pots per person. This is a la carte instead of an all your can eat hot pot restaurant. You start by selecting the type of broth that you want. I recommend doing the half and half option, so you can try more than one. I typically get one spicy and one non-spicy. Be warned - the spicy one is SPICY! We got the lowest level which is "Normal," and the heat builds the more you eat it. I'm pretty good with spicy food, but I do not think I could do more than the "Normal" level. We also tried the pork bone broth, which was a good complement as our non-spicy option. You will select your preferred ingredients like meats, seafood, and veggies in order to cook them in the broth. We decided to go with beef, tofu, and veggies. The meat comes on a plate that they put on its side, which was an interesting presentation. Don't forget to make your own sauce at the sauce station to dip your cooked items in. We also got the kumquat lemonade, which was quite refreshing! It ended up being about $50/person for everything that we ordered. Service/Ambiance: We were confused at first because the restaurant sign is higher up, so we were not sure it was the right place. When you first walk in, there is a bubble tea stand to your left and a waiting area, so it was a big confusing. The sauce station is in the middle of the restaurant. Service is pretty standard for an Asian restaurant meaning it's not great. You will need to flag people down if you need them as they don't typically come over and check how you are doing like at standard American restaurants. This doesn't typically bother me since a lot of Asian places are like that. Overall: I would go back again for more hot pot!“
“I liked the place, the food is good for the prices they give, 7 dumplings for $3 or soups for $6, if you want to eat cheaply and something delicious I recommend coming here, the place does get a lot crowded but it's worth it, The pork buns were very delicious, I didn't like the pork rice balls in broth very much because the dough was medium rare and they were difficult to chew, the vegetarian dumplings were not bad but could be better. They treated us well and were friendly but they only charge in cash and there are not always tables, today when we went the place was packed, there was no place to sit so we took it to eat at home. The bathrooms were more or less clean.Vegetarian options: There are few vegetarian options if I'm not mistaken, only two“
“The place is bigger inside than the look you see from the outside. It is clean and nice. We ordered Peking duck which was tender and delicious. Dim sum was great too. The only thing that we didn't like is egg drop soup which is too thick and bland for us. The service is ok, not attentive, just need to wave for attention. The only beer they have is Tsing-tao.“
“Another solid place we found in China town. Owners are chill and efficient. The dumplings were delicious, fresh and filling. The scallion pancake with beef was simply perfection. The bread was fresh and chewy and tender. The beef was sliced thin and the carrots and cilantro were crispy and fresh. They also offer many different versions. Great new spot and super reasonable. Can literally eat lunch for 5$ and be full.See you soon King dumplings ?“
“4.3 stars. Need street meat? Good lamb (lean and not gamey) and pork (Chinese roast pork belly with the crispy skin) skewers. The shakey-shakey was not that spicy but a bit too salty. The prices are rising too fast and it’s starting to be not a good value. It was a rainy Sunday 6pm so no line.Vegetarian options: 10 vegetarian skewer options.“
“It doesn't matter if you have to way a bot to get your hands in this amazing cloud filled with deliciousness!!!!! Get the pork and pork with pineapple... Then go back and get 6 so you can bring some home. There's a special window for cash so if you see a line outside just make sure is the right one. Here, cash is king.“
“If you're searching for a dining experience that transcends the ordinary, look no further than PF Changs! From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. The ambiance was both inviting and elegant, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal. But what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service provided by bartenders Quenta and Danny. Their professionalism and attentiveness elevated my visit to new heights. Their mastery of mixology was evident in every cocktail they crafted, each one a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. Their genuine enthusiasm and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening.I must also commend Giussepe, the manager, for his excellence and attentiveness. He ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was nothing short of perfection. His dedication to customer satisfaction was evident throughout the evening, and his presence only enhanced an already stellar experience. In summary, PF Changs, with its outstanding service and delectable cuisine, earns a perfect 10/10 in my book. Whether you're seeking a romantic dinner for two or a memorable night out with friends, this establishment is sure to exceed your expectations. Don't hesitate to pay them a visit—you won't be disappointed!“
“Delicous homemade food. Cooked fresh and quickly brought to your table. The mall is in disrepair and scary when you walk down however the food court stall is nice enough and there are tables and chairs. It is no frills with very cheap prices. We had 3 plates of dumplings, bao, bamboo bun and wontons.“
“I recommend getting here early to get a table otherwise there can be a wait. One of the downside of getting here early is that the whole menu is not available. What is available though is definitely worth it! The HK milk tea, golden lava French toast and grapefruit chicken wings were my “
“I have never tasted Chinese cuisine as delicious as this before. The intricate blend of flavors, the perfect balance of spices, and the presentation of the dish are simply phenomenal. It's an experience that is both satisfying to the palate and visually appealing. Truly the best Chinese cuisine I have ever had the pleasure of trying!“
“Anthony was an excellent server. Very attentive. Pleasant and outgoing person.Made our meal Pleasant. Great personality. We will be back to see him. We usually go to Hackensack but found Wayne to be much tastier and portions just right. Closer to home too. We will be back.“
“Awesome Sichuan spot on the west side that’s got a nice vibe and serves up some great food. Come hungry - the dishes are all on the larger side and it’s easy to over order, which we did - but for the price I’m not complaining. My favorite was the fish filets with green peppercorns which was fire! It was spicy, which I love, but for those more timid they do warn you about the spicy dishes. The mapo tofu was also really good though they serve it vegetarian without the minced pork more typical in China. I’d definitely come back though to explore more of the menu.“
“Located in Chinatown, Manhattan. We decided to come here after reading the reviews. When we arrived, we were told there would be a 20 to 30 mins wait. We waited and were seated after 20 mins. Reasonably priced and lots of variety. From soup dumplings, to soup and fried noodles, plus much more. Delicious and authentic tasting“
“The ingredients matter. Chef Guo uses the best organic & fresh ingredients to cook them to their best natural flavor. I love the magic he does with these ingredients. The presentation and restaurant decor just put his cuisine to the next level! Highly recommend this place to folks who appreciate nature, organic and yummy food and fine cooking skills.“
“My favorite Chinese restaurant I've ever visited, I love the staff here and their food is the real deal. I come back often for dinner and I am never disappointed with their great bargains especially on groupon. They aren't always perfect especially when they are busy but if you ask they will always accommodate you. Thank you to the chefs that are working hard in the back and to those in the front of house that make the corner such a great place to visit. Also, the SHREDDED BEEF is the best appetizer!“
“We had a wonderful event at For U, the food is absolutely delicious, I keep thinking about the cucumber salad it’s so crunchy and tastes so good, the sesame noodles are flavorful and so good, delicate and delicious version of that dish, the best I have ever had. And the Peking duck is divine. It’s a wonderful place for a party, they work with you to make it really special. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the space is warm and beautiful. We had a wonderful time and will go back for dinner very soon.Dietary restrictions: Our event served vegan and vegetarian options as well as standard fare“
“Superb beef noodle soup. Delicious broth and extremely tasty beef. I'm addicted and the best thing is it's just as good if you order it for delivery, because they separate the noodles and the vegetables from the broth, so that when you combine them it is hot and fresh as if it just came out of the kitchen.“
“Good food, went twice on the same trip and liked it. Would go again if I am in the area.Don't like when restaurants decide to add tips in the bill and decide the amount on their own. Doesn't matter, how common this practice is, it is a bad practice in my opinion.“
“This is the easiest 5 star review I've ever left. Came here for an anniversary and the staff made it feel incredibly special. The food was divine, environment was great, and service was beyond impeccable. Anything you could want for a celebration or just a nice night out. The tasting menu was wonderful and would absolutely recommend spending the additional $10 for the custard and caviar. If you're torn between desserts go with the cake and sorbet, both are incredible but it's the more complete and balanced dish imo. Honestly thanks again to the staff for making a special night even moreso.P.s. I would buy the scallion butter by the tub if I could.“
“Great prices for delicious food. I see why Guy Fieri has come here three times. The noodles are perfectly imperfect and the flavors are spot on. The only questionable thing about the place is that the duck is served bone-in which brought down my wife's enjoyment of her dish“
“A small restaurant in Chinatown that serves a lot of Chinese noodles dishes. I ordered the Spicy Lamb Huimei ($11.75) and Pancake w. Pork ($5.75). The noodles were decent but I was not amazed, but the pancake w. pork (also known as a Chinese hamburger) tasted delicious. The service was great and they are cash only. The pancake was a bit on the expensive side, but still not expensive. Overall, I would rate this place a 7.5/10 - I wouldn’t have any urge to revisit, but if I were to be in the area I would show up to enjoy a good bowl of noodles + Chinese hamburger.“
“This restaurant tool me by surprise. It is not like a typical restaurant around China town. The space was modern very clean airy and tables were spaced apart. The young staffs were friendly and service was quick. The chang fens were not like traditional chang fens. It had the freshly made thin rice paper filled with lots of fillings. The portion was generous. The congee was served in a huge bowl and tasty. The Hong Kong milk tea was strong and authentic. We loved food and service.“
“Decided to try this place because it was highly recommended to me, by far one of the best recommendations I’ve ever gotten, the Shanghai lo mein is absolutely delicious, they make the noodles themselves, and i had the scallion pancakes which I’ve never had, but they were fantastic, if you’re looking for really good Chinese food, at a good price, and fast, friendly, service i highly recommend this restaurant.“
“The best place for reunions and chitchat in New York. They have plenty of reservations and it’s located in Chelsea, New York — close to everywhere.Loved my food and the dining experience there. Would recommend it if you want to catch up with friends and find an easy place to talk for hours!“
“This has been my favorite rice roll place for over a year. I usually get a pork rice roll and herbal jelly. There is a much longer line since they got more popular though. Still fairly quick, and reasonably priced. I can only go when my school has a half day, because they close very early (by my standards). Definitely recommend!“
“Delicious, fresh dumplings, served when ready. Had crab/pork soup dumplings, 6. Two were stuck to the bottom, so no soup :( Fresh veg dumplings too, but both sets of fillings were fine, on the bland side. Cooked well- not overdone. Really hard to flag anyone down to get anything needed, but it eventually arrived. I like this place! It's good/ok. Would love to try more food. They were out of the Asahi I ordered.“
“202403Cash only! It's quite delicious. There are many skewers of chicken satay. I was curious about the taste of Malaysian milk tea, but it tasted like Hong Kong milk. Hainanese chicken rice, dry-fried wagyu beef, and chicken-flavored rice were all delicious. The only dissatisfaction was that the coconut rice was very dry.“
“In a chill spot of New York City, Red Paper Clip isn't just a restaurant—it's like your cozy hangout spot, packed with awesome surprises. From the second I stepped inside, it felt like I was walking into a friend's place. The vibe was super inviting, and the smell of sizzling spices got me hyped. Oh, and let me tell you about the Betamax cocktail—it's straight-up amazing! And don't even get me started on the testing menu—it's like a food adventure you gotta try. Plus, Chef and owner Kevin? He's the friendliest dude ever! Seriously, my time at Red Paper Clip was next-level awesome from start to finish.“
“The BeiJing duck was well spiced and sliced. While the staff provided supplementary vegetables and wraps whenever we ran out, the wraps were quite thin and often stuck to each other, making the experience difficult. The lamb hot pot was quite spicy as it had claimed to be. I enjoyed the various cuts. The basket of vegetables were a nice pairing.“
“Cash only! Cantonese har cheong fun (fresh shrimp) is one of my favorite foods, and this cart does a delicious take of Cantonese style cheong fun rolls. Their prices are cheap and the system is very efficient. This place has been getting more popular so the line can get long but it moves quickly. They speak Cantonese and English so don't be scared away if you're not Chinese! The only qualm I have is that there's no where nearby to eat. I wanted the rolls while they were hot and ended up wandering awkwardly and trying to eat while walking. Seeing as this is a food card there's nothing they can do about this, but I suggest coming up with a game plan to eat your food once you order.“
“This is one of the few places that serves **real** cantonese food attracting **both** Asian and non-Asian guests. Their food is just so good that they don’t need to change to cater to any group of people. It’s busy and always full inside, but the wait isn’t long because the staff works hard to deliver food very quickly. Try the roast duck and pork, and if you like chow fun they have what you’ll love. Did I mention everything is so affordable too?“
“So if you stop here definitely just be prepared to eat outside on the street. It’s small inside so know your order ahead of time. I read reviews and got the pork burger but I would say skip it. I wasn’t impressed at all and the bun is a thick sesame seed bun like a bagel. The pork and chive dumplings were delicious and worth the stop however you can get dumplings anywhere else nearby. The prices can’t be beat here! I will say you definitely get a lot for your money.“
“I had been hearing about this place online for quite some time and decided to finally make a stop. We arrived within 15 mins of closing and ordered chive and pork fried dumplings and steamed ones as well. The order was ready within minutes and was $10! Can’t beat that in NYC. The dumpling meat was savory and delicious. But be prepared, it is cash only and there is only table to sit at.“
“Very delicious hot pot!! To us the highlight would be the soup base, we got the tomato base, and the duck soup with pickled radish base, both are very flavorful and yummy. And all of the food ingredients are good, and good portion size too. And the staff are all very friendly as well, didn’t really have to wait for very long for services. Will recommend this place!“
“I went there for lunch with my colleagues, and we liked it there. With $13.99, the lunch menu has one Wantang soup and rice bowl along with a main dish. I would like to go there again because it is close to my office, and I love Sichuan food.“
“Solid Cantonese showcasing all of the classic dishes.Fast and tasty Chinese in a big and busy restaurant which is knocking out Chinese comfort foods - congee, Chinese vegetable (get the pea shoots) and a wide range of seafood and meat dishes.Notes about scoring:1 star = Memorably awful2 star = Not good and would avoid3 star = Good but would not return4 star = Recommended5 star = Incredible and must visit if you can“
“I've been going to Red Bowl since it opened over ten years ago. It is still owned and operated by the same family. The food consistency has never faltered.Wheelchair accessibility: There are 4 handicapped reserved parking spots in the parking lot and a wheelchair ramp near the DMV main entrance.“
