“We had an outstanding experience at Rosella last night. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top notch. Our server James was engaging and got us out of our comfort zone by surprising us with most of the dishes we were served. My husband who is not a sushi fan is now a sushi fan. We can’t wait to come back!“
“Found this late night gem after seeing Sweeny Todd at the theatre.Unfortunately, the kitchen was going to be closed in half an hour, so we only ordered the House Chicken Fried Rice, Shrimp Dumplings, and Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs. My only complaint is I wished we ordered more before the kitchen closed; it was all delicious!! ??The service was quick. Even the Jasmine tea served had a delicious flavour. We'll have to come back here the next time in NYC.“
“A warm local Georgian place which is owned by a super friendly and easy going owner with a simple but cute decor. The service is also great with the owner happy to recommend the dishes.I wanted to tick off the traditional Georgian dish, Adjaruli Khachapuri. It's basically a bread boat filled with cheese and raw egg yolk. It's a baked dish and is best eaten when hot. One needs to mix the raw egg yolk properly within the cheese and then devour it. The bread was easy to break with crisp sides while the cheese was really creamy and smooth. It basically felt like a better version of NYC cheese pizza minus the marinara, and I would happily choose this one over pizza! The dish is simple, filling and soul satisfying which made me love it. The prices too are pretty decent compared to the neighborhood they are located in.Overall an amazing experience with Georgian food, would definitely come back to try their Khinkali (dumplings) next time!“
“The food was delicious!!!! A friend told me that it would be very spicy, but I didn’t find it to be so. (Definitely had a zip to it but not too extreme) Service was attentive and pleasant. The only downside was the seating. The chairs were more like elementary school short stools. Quite uncomfortable, but I’d definitely go back just for the food!“
“Hands down one of the best authentic Indian food we had in NYC. Everything was so fresh. The owner was very welcoming and truly showcased “atithi devo bhava”. It felt like home. They customized the paneer tikka for my kid and she loved it. Would absolutely visit this place again.. and again.. kudos!!“
“Have been going here for years with friends. Food never has failed and the service is usually quick unless you go at peak hours, even then the wait isn’t as bad as most places. You can always alter what you want in it and add extra stuff like rice, soft boiled egg, and the premium yakibuta. Always full when we leave even if it’s just the bowl and a drink. Only two pictures I attached because I’ve gone here a couple times. side note I love their ice shape lol“
“From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a wonderful dining experience.About the food – the lamb and A5 wagyu were nothing short of phenomenal. Bursting with flavor, each bite was a testament to the restaurant's dedication to sourcing the highest quality ingredients from around the world. And the cocktails? They were the perfect accompaniment to the meal, expertly crafted and incredibly refreshing. But what truly made my visit memorable was the impeccable service, courtesy of Sam, one of the supervisors. Her friendly and attentive demeanor elevated the dining experience to another level, making me feel like a valued guest from start to finish.I can't wait to return and indulge in their mouthwatering dishes and delightful cocktails once again!“
“We had a wonderful event at For U, the food is absolutely delicious, I keep thinking about the cucumber salad it’s so crunchy and tastes so good, the sesame noodles are flavorful and so good, delicate and delicious version of that dish, the best I have ever had. And the Peking duck is divine. It’s a wonderful place for a party, they work with you to make it really special. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the space is warm and beautiful. We had a wonderful time and will go back for dinner very soon.Dietary restrictions: Our event served vegan and vegetarian options as well as standard fare“
“This was my first time here and absolutely loved it. It’s got a nice casual atmosphere, friendly servers, and large portions of great food. I started with the crispy spring rolls which were decent but it was the pho that really did it for me. These are some large bowls so you’re definitely getting value here. But they don’t sacrifice quality - the broth was super flavorful with perfectly cooked noodles and lots of tender meat. I usually get the pho my first time at a Vietnamese place but really want to come back to try their banh xeo which is pretty rare to find in NYC.“
“This restaurant opened a couple weeks ago, right next to the Baccarat Hotel ground floor! I have tried many Omakase places, but the chef Anthony Inn served dishes I have never tried. Presentation, Balanced flavor, Texture, Aroma, Execution, all there! Taru has everything from Omakase, Cooked Dishes, and Fantastic Dessert Selections. The Pastry Chef Natsume Aoi is perfection! Her deserts are must try! Also, there's a beautiful bar at the front with a great selection of cocktails, wine, sake, and scotch! The staff is attentive, and I loved the real bonsai tree in the center. I would highly recommend it, so definitely try it!“
“We ate the lobster sandwich, the flavor of it is spectacular, however, I missed a little more sauce and perhaps a slight tempering of the sandwich as a whole, I imagined it to be somewhat more tempered. The price of the product is high, but there is no such thing as a cheap lobster. It is worth making a stop at this place.“
“A MUST to visit in NY! ?We had to wait in line for a little while but it went pretty quickly. When you enter they give you a ticket with which you stand in another line to be served by the guys at the bar who will prepare your food. The portions are large; We shared a pastrami sandwich and it was enough, they also served it with pickles. The meat was delicious and soft!! It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten! ❤️ I would come back too much!!“
“What a phenomenal surprise! I had this restaurant marked from an article I read, and had lunch there solo. The dining room is very small and I took the last table. The flavors and textures were balanced, memorable, and unique. I've never had Burmese food before, and the menu was a great glimpse into the flavor profile. I only wish I could have tried everything on the menu! They are cash-only as of this writing, so come prepared. If you ever need to expand, come on up to the Upper West Side please!“
“What an awesome find! I came with my best friend for my bday and everything was so amazing! We had the omakase dinner and got a little full at the end and couldn’t finish the delicious ice cream! Maybe the next time I’ll do 11 pcs and order some appetizers. The chefs are masters and the rice was perfectly mixed with the sauce and vinegar. Definitely will come back.“
“Seriously the best pho place that I’ve ever been to!!Pho has really tasty deep broth and there is so much meat or seafood depending on what your order is. Not only pho is really good, spring rolls are also very fresh and tasty (seriously the best) and fried rice and pork chops are top notch! My entire family has been coming here ever since we found this place (we used to come here twice a week). Thank you so much for the good food and kind service!!“
“The easiest place to eat vegetarian. It’s so flavorful and everything has been 10/10. I tried their cashew ricotta and pear with honey drizzle, amazing. Their lentil soup; amazing. Their cauliflower stew, so good. Everything is amazing here. If you’re looking for a switch up on your diet, I can’t think of a better place. Feels amazing to eat something tasty but not feel bloated and tired after. So good! New favorite local spot“
“To begin with, you will have to check the menus (plural because they hand you like 5) every menu has different options, from appetizers to desserts and alcoholic drinks. The service was very nice, the place looks good and the best part is the food due to its flavor, so delicious. It's somewhat affordable depending on your appetite.“
“The owner is welcoming the wings fried hard pack with favor. He let us sample the house sangria which was delicious. This spot doesn’t miss a beat with the menu options. Rocket fuel is definitely a hidden gem and highly recommended for anyone that what to try new original favors. Last but not least stand of experience is was when I told the owner I was feeling the teriyaki sauce the cook in real time fix the recipe to my personal liking, now I’m forever a customer.“
“Found on a hot day walking back from Central Park. Got a pitcher of beer for $17 which went down a storm. Great value. Waitress were ok, but (I'm going to be honest here) a little abrupt with us - not sure if it was because we were from out of town (British) because she was lovely as can be to other American customers. But this isn't an unusual thing to have happened to us on this trip ? But we loved the atmosphere of the place and the other patrons ?“
“The taste is delicious, but I have the impression that it is slimier than what I eat in Japan.Preventing troubles caused by burns? I don't know what the needs are in the first place, but I think things like ramen are more lukewarm here than in Japan.I was missing Japanese food, so I appreciated the umami even more.“
“Great service and quality, but a bit lacking in quantity. I ordered the chili ramen, and it came with just one slice of pork. It was good, but only one? Would have hoped for at least two. Price was about average for ramen in NYC ($18). The ramen broth had the right amount of salt, umami, and thickness. The pork belly was charred well. The noodles a bouncy texture and nice bite.I also ordered the salmon handroll which honestly was not worth the price ($7). The salmon was a small sliver the size of my index finger. Mostly stuffed with rice.Stick to the ramen and you’ll be satisfied - not stuffed, but satisfied.Parking: Narrow streets in financial district - avoid driving in.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to enter the restaurant.“
“Food is authentic. The waiters can be a bit abrasive. The portion of food is humongous! Prices are $12-$15 per plate. Very tiny place, and it's super warm down there. If you're claustrophobic, I wouldn't suggest this place! Lol!“
“If you are a fan of Seinfeld and streetfood you should visit this place. They were delicious 10/10 so we repeated the next day. We tried 5, the best in my opinion: 1. Chicken chipotle 2. Potatoe Leak 3. Jambalaya 4. Beef chili 5. Minestrone. No soup for you!??“
“Can't believe I've been waiting on this gem for sooooo long. Had it the other day and it was incredible, very authentic, fast and great prices.Cant wait to go and try more. Had the spring rolls and Pho with everything, it was so fresh and flavorful “
“Cuban restaurant in Bergenfield, NJ Cuban family restaurant in New Jersey with ample parking space. My wife and I were greeted and served with great kindness by an efficient and bilingual staff. The restaurant is spacious, and its ambiance is refined. Its décor combines a display of original works by Cuban painters and Oriental vases. The menu, prepared by a Cuban chef, is diverse, with various starters, main courses, and desserts. As main course I ordered lacón, the kind I remembered eating in Cuba, which is not easy to find in New York. My wife had sea bass. Our dishes were all very good. We were very pleased. My wife favorite was a starter called “Discovery”. I particularly enjoyed the flan. Our only recommendation has to do with the music, which was only Salsa while we were there. In our opinion, the addition of other types of Cuban music could enhance the experience. The owners do not have a liquor license yet. Forewarned, we were able to bring our own bottle of wine. We had a great time. Highly recommended.“
“The food and service were excellent. Appetizers were great, including the Chicken Karaage (Bites) and Squid Skewer. Beef Gyoza was tasty as well. We had 3 different types of ramen, and all were delicious. The seafood ramen was good and hearty, and the pork broth was great. The pork cutlet was really good quality, meaty and soft. The service was very nice, helpful and friendly. Overall, a great experience and we'll definitely be back.“
“This is the remaining half of the Salvatore (Italian sub). Overall rating: 10. Bread was superb in flavor and softness with fresh ingredients and excellent proportions for perfect sandwich ratio. Service: Exquisite. Customers/atmosphere: all regulars who are friendly and excited to talk about how passionate they are of Angelina’s food. Final takeaway: Hidden gem. Go!“
“I've been here 4 times in the past month now. The food slaps. Makes me feel like I'm back in Shanghai. Chef/owner is very welcoming and passionate about his food. The menu is a mix of authentic Shanghainese food and more mainstream NYC Chinese food. I recommend the pan fried dumplings (生煎吧), lions head meatballs (狮子头), and crab tofu (蟹粉豆腐). I love the warm and casual vibes and Baodega has definitely become my new neighborhood spot.“
“The food was so good! I’ve been to Bangkok and Phuket, plenty of times and this place really captures the authentic art of Thai cuisine. Will definitely be returning to try more of what’s on their menu!Parking: Plenty of spots around the restaurant.“
“Pricey but definitely worth it. The lobster roll and the shrimp roll had a generous filling and it was all fresh and made it to order. Didn’t expect it to be as good as it was. The ambience is also beautiful, especially the outdoor seating.“
“My daughter and I grab dinner here regularly. The food is great (Darren makes what is quite possibly the best kids grilled cheese on the planet), but the real joy is the people. Darren, Kiki, and Eddie are among the most kind and generous people you'll find on this earth and every week they make us feel like family. That's what keeps us coming back. Also, the job they did decorating the place for the holidays is incredible! Worth the price of admission by itself. But go even when it's less festive.“
“Hello My Dear Readers,Today I had lunch at worldFLATS.This was my first time dining at this establishment. I let the person taking our order know that it was my first time. I am happy to share that I was so pleased with the level of service I received. Not only did I receive an overview of the food and menu…but the young man attending to us offered us 2 free agave drinks which were delicious. We ordered the signature Masal FLAT and a Flat Bowl. The meal was healthy (usually means tastes like cardboard) but no…the food was delicious and to my surprise so filling. The two of us could not finish our meal. And lunch for two was under $28 #DealI highly recommend this place and not just for the vegetarian/vegans out there but to one and all. (*Note: I’m not a vegetarian)“
“Cape Cod has been open for 2 months. The attention to detail reminds me of high level luxury dining. The chef was very attentive and the staff was extremely friendly. This restaurant came as a surprise to us.Please come here. Treat your spouse. Korean or not, this is a fine establishment. Has Michelin vibes. Loved the food“
“I love lobster rolls and this is one my favorite places to get ‘em. It aint cheap at 34 bucks per roll and just one is never enough for me. I love how they post the source of todays seafood at the front counter (see pic). I know that my lobster rolls came from “Portland Pier, Maine” today. The quality of the service and the food is always superior. This restaurant has the vibe of a small lobster shack and sometimes there’s no guarantee of a seat - in that case we’ll just take our food down the block to Union Square. This store is in a prime location with a huge CitiBike docking station right in front.“
“Burp Bowl is a complete hole in the wall, but the food is incredibly delicious and authentic. Seriously, it feels like you're stepping into a restaurant in China. I've been numerous times now and my favourites are their beef noodle soup, which has a savoury beef broth and tender chunks of beef, and the sliced beef tripe appetizer, which has notes of sweetness and spiciness. The beef trip noodle soup and pork tongue were also great, but not as good as the beef noodle soup and sliced beef tripe appetizer.I did not like the wontons in chili oil, since it literally just came in a bowl of oil.And if you're a vegetarian, they have a delicious veggie noodle soup, which pairs super well with the chili crisps they have in-house.“
“Dropped by today for lunch, got a grilled eggplant wrap. Full of flavor, super juicy and as thick as a baseball. Fresh mozz, arugula, grilled eggplant, sun dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers and a balsamic fig glaze on a whole wheat wrap. This and a can of soda was $14.24. Good stuff!“
“Nice place to grab ramen on a cold night on the upper Westside if you live in the neighborhood. Very friendly staff, good food, quick service. They were killing it on takeout orders while I was there.Wheelchair accessibility: No step into the restaurant. Very wheelchair accessible.“
“Ari Sushi is a hidden gem in the city, offering an authentic and high-quality sushi experience. The chefs are skilled and attentive, and the menu features a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it a great spot for a date or special occasion. Overall, Ari Sushi is a must-try for any sushi lover in NYC!“
“Delicious and good price. I could smell the meat from outside and that’s what attracted me in.You get half a roasted duck 烧鸭 for 16 and a large amount of char siu 叉烧 meat for only 12 a pound. Rice is 1.5. Both were delicious.Service was very quick too, I ordered and in a couple of seconds I was walking out.“
“Staff is extremely friendly, chicken pot pie soup is amazing! Steak tacos are amazing as well! Cheese empanada was super gooey and delicious. Can't wait to go back. Huge soup selection with dietary restriction clearly marked for each soup. Easy to figure out what you can have.“
“Honestly, it's a really good bar that has not only great drink selections but the food is actually pretty damn good. It's a perfect spot to get food and drink before or after the show. They have live music from time to time and the staff are pretty damn good at taking care of you. Doesn't get too crowded unless there's a big event, but even then, it's never at crazy levels like you see at some other spots. Big plus is, is that your near the subway or Metro North so it's a very good place to meet and eat and get the hell home if you want.“
“The food is amazing, everything i had from dan dan noodles to fish was perfectly cooked, the service is impeccable and the waiters were very nice. I meant to order a fish bowl dish but pointed at the whole fish by mistake and they were nice enough to bring what I originally had in mind. I would go again no doubt, best Chinese in NYC.“
“I decided to try a sandwich from this restaurant for the first time. I just ordered a hot chicken cutlet sub and it was the best sandwich I have ever had!! The chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the lettuce and tomato were extremely fresh, the bread was also freshly baked! The food is so clean which is the most important and the service was phenomenal. Sweet beautiful young girl rang me up, and that just elevated the entire experience. The food is definitely crafted with love and that is apparent. I will be ordering daily from today forth. Thank you Pizza City! “
“I came down with an unspecified viral illness earlier this year which knocked me out for a solid week, and all I could muster the energy and appetite for was soup. I've had some great chicken soup uptown before (Salento in Washington Heights is amazing), but now that I've moved to the UWS, I was adrift once again. Some googling and yelping steered me toward Murray's Sturgeon Shop, so one day, I wrested myself from my sickbed and walked down to pick myself up some soup. The store is somewhat intimidating, as nothing is really laid out and you have to order everything over the counter, but I was able to convey my order pretty easily, and not long after, I had a frozen quart of chicken noodle soup in my possession. I guess they only sell their soups frozen, but they assured me it is frozen at peak freshness. It was $15 for the frozen quart, which felt kinda steep, but I justified it, because it could last multiple meals. I came out and let my frozen block defrost for a bit before I melted it on the stovetop. It took a while for the ice crystals to melt away, but soon enough, the warm and umami aroma of chicken soup began to emanate from my pot and penetrate my stuffed up olfactories. My frozen block made two portion of delicious soup, stuffed full of shredded chicken, carrots, and curly egg noodles. The best word I can use to describe the flavor of this soup is incredible DEPTH. Soup is not a good I often rave over, but this one is particularly good and flavorful. It cured me, just a little. Highly recommend when you're ill and craving your mother's cooking/comfort, but you're actually a grown adult who thousands of miles away from your childhood home so you just have to shell out $15 for someone else's grandma to make soup and sell you a frozen block of it. I haven't tried their fish, but based on the other reviews, I'm curious about it! Nothing in the store looked particularly nice or clean (it just looked a little musty as old delis often do), and like I mentioned, the counter is somewhat intimidating, but Murray's has the vibe of an old time establishment that knows what they're doing and does it well.“
“Give it a try. Food tastes homemade, like your Polish grandma made it, or if you're not Polish and had a childhood friend who was, like that friend's mama made it. Food is made fresh every day. You can get some traditional hot Polish foods, pierogi, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa/kraut, potato pancakes, and you can get some non-traditional hot foods, Goulash, chicken cutlet...w/mashed. You can buy kielbasa and pierogis to cook yourself at a future date, and fresh sauerkraut. Lots of imported Polish goodies, and if you don't know what they are, just ask.Fresh deli meats and cheeses. Try a sandwich!Extremely friendly owner, working hard to earn your dollar. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy.“
“We celebrated my mom's 75th birthday at Jaz Indian Cusine. The owner and the staff was amazing. Everything we ordered was amazing. I think the fresh naan and lemon rice were probably some of the best we have ever had. I would highly recommend Jaz Indian Cuisine to anyone who wants amazing food, atmosphere sphere and service. This is definitely a gem in NYC.“
“The girls who serve. They are very active, attentive to the client, and they are very paisas, regardless of where Sean is from. From the place where they come from Colombia. Because they put effort into their work. Like some good country then.!!!“
“1. The food is decent, I would only recommend the soba and nothing else. The Stamina Don is not a “Powerful Bowl Dish”or “Gut-Busting, it is bland and not spicy.2. The portions and taste of the appetizer was not worth the money to try.3. The service was excellent, they rearranged the seating for our large group in a small restaurant.4. The atmosphere was nice and homey, on busy days it can become crowded.“
“I can only recommend the Cappuccino because I have not bought anything else in the two years I have visited. RECOMMENDATIONS: Yesterday, it was raining and set up inside the cafe was not six feet from each other (especially the tables near the door). Maybe reminding people that they can’t linger in the cafe 60-90 minutes due to Covid19. Would be a great idea. Maybe giving the sitting would best. Especially with the weather impeding.“
“The best dumplings in NY and NJ. Huge selection, delicious thin crust and phenomenal filling. And they have hot dogs from Orlen ? On top of all this, Marcin is super nice and hospitable. It was worth the 1.5 hour drive. We take our next catering from you. Great place, I highly recommend it. ??“
