It is not a Michelin star restaurant, if that is what you are looking for, but it is a hidden gem in Westfield. The food is always fresh and there is an eclectic feel of the restaurant itself. My wife and I have dined here several times without a complaint and the staff is always friendly. It is our go-to as a last minute option as it seems to be underrated and a reservation is usually not needed. The other plus is that they are open slightly later than other establishments in the area.“

“Went on a Saturday around noon. Food and drinks were nice and fresh. I had a mezcal and Blueberry drink and my wife ordered a tequila version of a Pina colada. For our meal I ordered the chicken enchiladas. The chicken was well seasoned and the green sauce had a nice bright citrus flavor and was quite enjoyable. My wife ordered the tree leches French toast which was nice very nice as well. The only disappointment was the fact that they only served brunch and we were looking to have the mole. Wish we were told prior to being seated or at least a sign posted. Not used to seeing brunch on Saturdays, usually thought brunch was reserved for Sundays. Will try again in the future but for dinner instead.“

“Really good food and atmosphere. Watch out for the automatic tip on the receipt. They didn't include it on Thursday but did on Friday. Usually I tip 20% but when places automatically add 18%, I don't tip extra when places auto tip. They also included a tip line even tho they added an auto tip lol, not falling for that trick.“

“Overall our brunch was very good with a couple of minor issues. The banquettes need cleaning, the juices in the cocktails weren't shaken thus making the drinks watery and not full flavored. I sent mine back and the waiter brought me another quickly. The food was good. We will come back for dinner in the future.“

Luckily, other staff in charge helped us get to a booth .There were other booths available and no one got seated in table where she tried to put us, nor did all booths fill up until we were almost done eating. “There was a cover which we had no problem paying. However, before going in since it was within an hour of closing the kitchen I asked: is the kitchen still open? He stated yes because I advised we wanted drinks and food. We go in they take our orders and come back out saying they ran out of chicken so they closed the kitchen. So now no I don't want any drinks you can cancel those too. Otherwise fried chicken/shrimp is 10/10, drinks 7/10, mama sauce 10/10, and DJ 10/10.“

The ugly side is I had a waitress that was a young Spanish girl with glasses which she took them off thinking I wouldn’t notice her face please run those cameras back and watch the whole thing to the manager! She did not give me my $4 change back which I wanted to leave a few more singles to add on for her tip but seems like she thought she could play with me maybe because I look “young” I’m in my 30s and from Newark so I did keep my cool and said something to the host which he was very nice!!!
