The restaurant had a mariachi band, which was excellent and made waiting for our meal very enjoyable. We had appetizers, entrees, and dessert, all superb, good portion size, and the price was right. The unassuming Pecos Trail Cafe definitely qualifies as one of Santa Fe’s hidden gems. Attentive service, great margaritas, lots of delicious traditional menu options plus healthy choices (especially appreciated at a restaurant featuring New Mexican cuisine). Highly recommend the house-made flan.

Never expected this place. The food was outstanding. Obviously, scratch made with love! The ribeye was cut to order, cooked superbly and equal to ribeyes I pay three times the price for!! Salsa was so good. Service was outstanding. We pass through Santa Fe several times a year and this will be our new stop. The hotel next door was also a gem!
