I went here with some friends for a late lunch and we were the only ones in the restaurant. It’s a small spot, and I didn’t see a restroom for customers which is odd. But we did enjoy our food.The vegan options were great. I had the grain bowl which had a great variety of textures. The sauce on it was a bit too mild for me though—I would’ve enjoyed something with more heat. This was our second visit to Milpa. The food was 5 stars, but the female at the register was not. She actually did not seem glad /happy/to have us there. We brought another couple with us, good friends, as we were excited to share our experience with them. The food was a hit! Unfortunately when asked if salsa came with the guacamole I was told no. Love the food! It was really good and the ambience was the delightful. I tried the do set the electric coffee and it was really gooI tried the dulce de leche coffee and it was perfect for me. If you like sweet coffee, I recommend adding sugar or more dulce de leche. Also, the service here was awesome! Kind people.
