“I went here with my boyfriend less than a week ago; we've been trying different AYCE sushi spots in Reno and we decided Kuma was by far our favorite. The rolls offered were great; not too simple but not over the top, all the fish tasted great and looked so fresh (White Ono and unagi nigiri were our favs)!! The staff was also so nice, and I love when an AYCE has a paper to order on, so nothing gets lost. I think we may just go here from now on, no need to try anywhere else!!!“

He was incredibly kind & welcoming, made you feel like family & like you belonged. Then, there’s the food. The sushi was amazing! I got a lot of sushi nigiri & a rainbow roll. Everything was perfect; it was fresh, prepared with lightning speed, & just tasted fantastic. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had outside of Little Tokyo. Highly recommend“

“I began my sushi journey at the OG Sushi Pier over 20 years ago. Instantly developed amazing friendships with their staff. Always knew me by not just my name but my “nickname” lol. Always amazing food, chefs are always willing to make alterations to requests (add this, subtract that, make it spicier). Whenever my OG Reno friends come into town and want to go to sushi, they always request the OG Sushi Pier! I’ve eaten my fair share of sushi, all over the country, and can hands down say OG Sushi Pier consistently is amazing! All this talk of the OGSP got me wanting, you guessed it, the OG Sushi Pier!“

It comes with 2 appetizers (I get fried calamari and gyoza), four nigiri (I get two sake and two saba), and three sushi rolls (I like the Sparton roll here.) It's a lot of food, delicious, and surprisingly affordable. I also love how polite and professional the staff at Sushi One are.“

“We went there for my sons 18th birthday. The food was great, the service was great and so was the entertainment. It was a wonderful experience that we do yearly or multiple times in a year. Everything was great until we received the tab. The fact that there is now a mandatory gratuity no mater how big the party is, I feel is wrong on so many levels. Because of the mandatory gratuity you cost your servers, staff and cooks more money. I understand having when with larger parties but we had 5 of us and the people next to us was only 2. I would suggest changing this or you will have others that will find other places to go. Other then that everything was great.“

Heard good things and they didn’t disappoint. Fish was fresh and good quality. “If you want some good Pho, Vietnamese plates, and or Chinese dishes you need to go to Got Pho? I'm north/ west Reno. The restaurant is very nice and upscale. It's not like your typical dingy Pho restaurants. I drove all the way from the bay area California to try this place out last month. I was in town, but had heard great things about this place.

I ordered the combo Pho and fried egg rolls. It was very good ! I would say in my top 5 Pho spots I've eaten. I'm from the bay area, so we have Pho spots galore. Some good, some bad. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes ! If you're in the area or live in Reno, go visit this great restaurant.“

“The poke is really delicious and HUGE. For $20, you get a big bowl with 5 proteins — and not just a bowl, but a BOX, a massive one. The guy gave me two huge scoops of crab, plus mango and pineapple — such big pieces, it’s crazy. “One of our favorite sushi restaurants in Reno, well anywhere really. Their fish is always fresh and they have delicious, creative rolls. I really enjoy their Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck Nigiri, I always have to order a couple of each. They have good quality, fresh Hamachi. Their all you can eat price is very reasonable with drinks included most nights, depending on what you drink. Desert comes with all you can eat, I really like the fried banana sundae but the green tea ice cream is also good and refreshing.“

“Oceano is still one of my favorite sushi spots at the Reno. The food is consistently good, and the interior of the restaurant is beautiful, which really adds to the experience.

It’s a great place for lunch or dinner, and the atmosphere is always enjoyable. They also offer a free private dining room (when available), which is a great option if you’re meeting with a larger group and want a more comfortable setting.

One thing to note is that the sushi rolls tend to be heavier on the rice, which can fill you up pretty quickly. Personally, I wish they offered smaller or lighter rolls, but the quality and flavors are still very good.

I also appreciate that they offer a local resident discount if you have a Peppermill players card.

Overall, a solid choice for sushi in a great setting.“

“I came here after work with a big appetite, hoping to score some great food and meet some cute ladies. As with most Asian restaurants, the Fried Crab Rangoon was a great choice, and you KNOW you can't go wrong with the wantons. I also got the chicken with seasonal vegetable (which is apparently celery by the way) which was very tasty. As for sushi, I got the black dragon roll which SLAPS. And I couldn't leave without trying some Pho, so I got the steak and beef ball (heavy on the balls), and let me tell you, it CHANGED me.

Didn't meet any ladies because I was too focused on the incredible food I was given.

Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Can't wait to hit this place up next week. I also got this shirt from the gift shop! I will wear it with pride.“

“We started with the Coconut Crusted shrimp. The shrimp was perfect because I love crispy, but the housemade sauce for dipping was to die for. We ordered the Spyder Roll, but wasn't as thrilled with that. Next we got the Orange Chicken which is a large enough portion to share. It was delicious. We enjoyed it so much we can't wait to go back.“
