“The environment is very warm and feels natural. They used to have a pacman game by the stools on the side, but have gotten rid of that. However, the food is AMAZING. I have been coming here for the past year or so whenever I have appointments or am craving a sweet treat. I love the biscoff and cream waffle but also the k-dogs have been good for when I want hot foods.”

I was first greeted with a very welcoming approach so, asked for a recommendation and was not disappointed. I ordered the Braised Beef Noodle Soup. It was so delicious and yummy. I give this noodle house a 10 out of 10. I’m definitely coming back, and you should try it too.”

Highlights: bluefin tuna, seasonal firefly squid, and three rounds of premium Japanese sea urchin (my boyfriend was thrilled). The sushi progression makes sense, and the gold-leaf tuna with edible glitter spray is a fun touch. The chef is Chinese and super friendly – gave us great tips on handling fish. Much better than schlepping into Manhattan. Highly recommend if you’re nearby!”

“I had to leave a review after my last visit a few days ago because it was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had at Sobol. A girl named Alexis made my bowl, and it was hands down the best bowl I’ve ever gotten from here. Everything was made perfectly.
On top of that, Alexis had such amazing customer service. She was so friendly, patient, and genuinely sweet, which made the whole experience even better. You can really tell she cares about what she’s doing and about the customers.
I’ll definitely be coming back again, and I truly hope she’s there next time. Alexis made my day — Sobol is lucky to have someone like her!”

There are only a few parking spots on a very, very busy intersection of Bayside.”

“This is more high end version and it’s still good. The shrimp katsu is extremely crispy as well. Although it is good but I still prefer the authentic 돼지국밥. They basically prepared everything so once u placed ur order the food will come to you within minutes. I can finish the meal within half hour from sit down to leave. The syrup and condensed milk were very sweet, but the middle was still a bit tasteless. place. The ingredients are not very sweet in comparison. There are four ingredients: mochi, taro balls, aiyu and glutinous rice balls, which are quite rich. There are two floors with seating. The layout on the second floor is very elegant and the environment is not bad.”

The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. “I can’t believe I just discovered Off Grids Commons, especially since it’s so close to where I live. This is such a cool little coffee shop with a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay and relax.
So far, I’ve only tried their Ube Hojicha, and it was fantastic. The flavors were unique, well balanced, and unlike anything I’ve had at a typical coffee shop. It was smooth, not overly sweet, and left me excited to come back and explore the rest of the menu.
It’s always great finding a local spot that stands out, and I’m glad this one is practically in my backyard. I’m definitely looking forward to trying more of what they have to offer in the future. If you’re on or around Bell Boulevard, Off Grids Commons is absolutely worth checking out.”

“This is more high end version and it’s still good. The shrimp katsu is extremely crispy as well. Although it is good but I still prefer the authentic 돼지국밥. They basically prepared everything so once u placed ur order the food will come to you within minutes. I can finish the meal within half hour from sit down to leave. Service is average since u don’t really need to interact much basically except placing order. Atmosphere and seatings are comfortable.”

“Cliff (the owner) is the man! My wife and I ran into him on the street while he was rescuing a baby bird he found on his stoop. He is an animal lover that also takes care of feral cats in his backyard. Cliff offered us complimentary food and coffee just for talking and helping him. Truly a genuine guy with good intentions and great food!”

“My experience at Jimmy John’s was FANTASTIC! 5 STARS! The male (older guy) that made the sandwiches for me was extremely polite and courteous and very patient with me as I was browsing the menu board before placing my order. I came in the evening hours between 6-8pm and the service speed was quick and top notch from beginning to end! I ordered the Spicy East Coast Italian Sub 8” & a Firecracker Wrap. Both were delicious and I felt the value I paid for them were justified with the amount of meat and overall size of the sandwiches.
The Jimmy John’s location is shared with Dunkin Donuts as well, and there’s ample parking in their lot!

“The environment is very warm and feels natural. They used to have a pacman game by the stools on the side, but have gotten rid of that. However, the food is AMAZING. I have been coming here for the past year or so whenever I have appointments or am craving a sweet treat. I love the biscoff and cream waffle but also the k-dogs have been good for when I want hot foods.”
