“Despite all the restaurant competition in Beacon, this place is still a stand out. Nice venue to see some of the old time greats. Food was absolutely fantastic, but they seem a little short on the front end. Not enough staff. But if you have a little patience you have a wonderful meal.“
“I love this place so much.. it's my Roman Empire I love it here. In all seriousness though it's great here! The staff is amazing they're so nice and the baked goods are delicious too!! But anyway, the cats are adorable too. I miss you Mr. Stubbs I don't know if you'll still be there when I go back but you were my bff. He was supposed to be the one that would scratch and bite but he sat on my lap the whole time.. I don't know if it was because I gave him his limit of two treats or he genuinely just liked me but I miss him. ? Anyway, I totally recommended this place for anyone who needs a stress reliever or just is a cat lover, it's great! 5/5“
“I’m always in Beacon, but somehow just discovered this shop. I love trying out different skincare and beauty products and this shop had the perfect variety. This shop has a great selection of home items, skincare, children’s items and more. There is something for everyone here! Plus, the sales associates were so kind and helpful. I will definitely be coming back!“
“We were here on a Friday night. The place was not busy. Crepes here were pretty good. They also sell some Eastern European snacks here. One of us love burek. Unfortunately we did not try the burek there. If we happen to be in the area again, we'll stop by to try their burek. Friendly service! Definitely worth visiting.“
“While visiting town, we stopped into Hudson Valley Marshmallow Co, because we’re suckers for some good marshmallows! They had so many unique flavors to choose from! We picked up a bag of the chocolate chocolate chip marshmallows and a pack of the chocolate chip graham crackers. We just made them as s’mores at home and loved them! I will 100% be back to pick up some marshmallows when I’m in town again because these were some of the best I’ve had! We also got an iced hot chocolate while we were there and it really hit the spot. Such a cute shop!!“
“Such a cute little coffee shop! Plenty of seating with different chair options, couch, stools, and chairs. They also had seating outside, but we went on a snow day so everything was covered. The workers were extremely friendly and the coffee was also delicious!“
“My first stop off the train for my day trip in Beacon. I didn't really have much planned out, as sometimes I just like to go by feel.I walked by Beacon Bread Company on my initial walk through main street in the pouring rain, and noticed a crowd of people outside here with cool umbrellas and that's really what got me. Plus anything with "Bread Company" attached to the end is such an easy sell for me.I was alone, so I walked in and smiled sheepishly at the hostess while softly saying the words "table for one?" with a light smile and holding up my right hand with one finger up. l was seated at the bar immediately which is another major perk of eating/traveling alone. Vet Move.I was planning on having a big meal later so I just wanted something light, and that's when I saw the grilled cheese and tomato soup. I may be weird but I just love a tomato soup especially when the sky is profusely sobbing.I don't know why I expected a big tomato soup with a small grilled cheese, but it was really a big grilled cheese with a small tomato soup. But that's on me. I gotta own that. Personal accountability. The grilled cheese was solid, but it wasn't the best I've had. It really was more for show as the cheese spills out of the end of the bread, but there's not much cheese in the middle. As my middle school basketball coach would always say “Don't bite on the pump fake! Never leave your feet!”But dipping the grilled cheese in the tomato soup was everything you dream about as a little kid. I used to do this with spaghettios and a grilled cheese my Granny would make me hahahaa. The contrast in the toasted bread with the softness of the tomato soup is a combination everyone should experience once in a lifetime. But yeah, overall a great experience. This place is lowkey Beacon expensive though ahahaha. $13.50 for a grilled cheese and small tomato soup had me feeling like I was back in NYC.IG @jnov_Tiktok @jnov__“
“Popped in here with a friend. Although I don't drink coffee or tea you could tell it was good. The place is very spacious and nice on the inside. Very friendly staff as well. You should pass on Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts and support a local buisness like this one.“
“Such a local love you can see that the community really supports this location. But that being said they are very welcoming to visitors and first timers. I've been twice and have enjoyed the regular latter and the matcha latte. The girls I was with both got bagel sandwiches and said they were very good“
“An unexpectedly great bubble tea shop in the area! Usually, finding a good place upstate could be hard, so we had low expectations since we came on a whim after a quick search while being on a trip around the area. Their sparkling fruit series was quite amazing. They were refreshing with real fruit and unique in flavor. As someone who has had bubble tea all their life, I was pretty mindblown to happen upon this place. Their menu is also decently sized. We wanted to try their banh mis as well, but they didn't seem to have them available when we were there later in the evening. They also have bubble waffles that were tempting! The place itself is not too big, but it is well decorated with a couple of small areas of seating. The staff was there was kind and prompt despite having to take a decent amount of orders during the time. Hope to come back one day!“
“I popped in to this cute coffee shop and ended up eating some of the most DELICIOUS empanadas I've had in years. There is a bit of indoor seating (and plenty of outdoor seating), so you can relax and enjoy a coffee, in a real cup. The staff were very friendly.“
“Can’t say enough good things about Gracie’s Market. Their Italian sandwiches are my favorite. Always such fresh good quality ingredients and enjoyable every time. This past weekend my family and I tried their burgers and they were awesome, even my children approved of them! The owner Isaac is very friendly and the cleanliness of the place 10/10. Always a pleasure coming here.Kid-friendliness: Bring my children with me every time and the owner is great.“
“Have been coming here regularly for pretty much since they’ve been open. I have tried pretty much every breakfast sandwich in the Hudson valley and hazel rose takes the cake. Their brioche buns are fantastic. All of their breakfast items are amazing. They make delicious cheesecakes as well. Definitely best little spot in the area.“
“Writing another review after coming for brunch. The chocolate chip cookies are perfection, if you are fortunate enough to get one before they close, do it...and then get another. I had the Muffuletta sandwich, my husband had the Niçoise sandwich. He seemed to throughly enjoy his, I did not try it, I'm not a huge Niçoise fan, but that's on me. The Muffuletta was delicious, though very spicy (I don't mind spice, so I was more than okay with this). If you aren't a fan of spice, maybe try something else. I'm sure it'll be delicious. Will definitely be coming back again for another easy Sunday afternoon.“
“I came here a couple of weeks ago and tried the maple syrup iced latte. I never had that favor before and it was amazing . If I come back in town again I will definitely get it again. The pizza pretzel thing looked amazing but I can't eat pork so I couldnt try it but I definitely was eyeing it ???There biscuit I forgot exactly was in it was amazing more of a dinner type of biscuit but it was so good. And the crosstiant was great.“
“Had an amazing chilean coffee with a panini pressed ham and cheese. Their pastries are delicious! Especially the guava and cheese puffs! I recommend everything on the menu because they have great breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Best bakery in Town of Poughkeepsie. They never fail!“
“Great coffee shop! I've been coming here for years and I'm really glad they have vegan options! I just wish they had more than just the two they've had all these years but overall the barristas and the owners are super friendly and fun to chat with!“
“The absolute best in Newburgh. Love stopping in for lunch and a coffee during the week or popping into the bar at night for a cocktail. Amazing food, and fast, friendly service. Great ambience, really cool space. Hands down my favorite spot in Newburgh. Try Betty's Falafel or the Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich. You won't be disappointed! If you haven't been here yet you are seriously missing out.“
“All the staff is super awesome and attentive. My boyfriend loved everythingggg. The sweet potato and black bean soup was absolutely delicious and made fresh by the awesome chef who took time to come out and speak with us. Loved his Chipotle aioli that he makes fresh! And he brought us out a sampler plate of other sauces . Will definitely be returning thank youuuu!“
“I was there last night. I ordered buffalo wings, popeye salad and salmon dinner. Someone in my group ordered smothered pork chops and fish and chips. All of the food was really good. Good portions and good prices. There was a jazz band playing in another area but could be heard in the dining room. The band plays from 6:30 to 9:30 on alternate Thursday nights. Service was very good and very short waits for food. Overall, this calls for a return visit.“
“Nice place to relax and have arepas, empanadas, sandwiches, smoothies, salads, etc…We went a group of 4. I ordered an arepa and a grilled cheese. Others ordered a Cuban sandwich, potato tots. Everything was good.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options“
“Nice coffee shop in Cornwall. Staff was very helpful and warm.Unfortunately is suffers from what a lot of coffee shops do, which is most table are taken up by people on their laptops. I miss the days when coffee shops were for meeting friends and catching up. While I understand places need to do what they have to do for business, I wish more would limit the hours this is allowed. We were three people and ended up being cramped on a bench near the door because all the tables were taken, mostly by one person on a computer. Felt more like a wework, than a coffee house.“
“Stopped by today and had a great cup of coffee!Staff was super friendly and the variety available was fantastic!Great vibes all around!Kid-friendliness: They were running a Easter Bunny pictures for the family from the store and I believe it $5 for the whole family“
“Messaged them on Facebook to ask about their pretzels, they got back to me quickly. I showed up this morning to a quaint bakery with tables and an amazing selection of cookies, pastries, and bread products and hot meals. The pretzels are HUGE and worth every penny! I left with 2 pretzels, a bag of dinner rolls, an everything pretzel bagel, and rainbow cookies. Safe to say we've tried it all today and are loving ALL of it! Great place, amazing food!!!“
“We were happily surprised by this small town hole in the wall. It was not to busy for a Sunday morning. The waitress was friendly and quick to grab orders and make her rounds to each table. The food looked so simple not an Instagrammable place or anything extraordinary but the food! The food was amazing! The eggs weren't overcooked, the fruit was fresh the tater tots nice and crispy. The French toast was perfectly soft on the inside and had a nice crust on the outside. A perfect Sunday morning breakfast!“
“The coffee tastes good. And really, that is what should be true of any coffee roaster so this place cuts the mustard. Plenty of space to sit and relax or people watch. The decor has a hipster vibe complete with a pretty cool old bike. Worth a trip if you need a good cup of coffee and happen to be in the area.Kid-friendliness: Good size space with lots of room for kids and art for them to enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
