“There was a New York Rangers rally downtown Brooklyn @ Albee Square. My husband & I went to get lunch @ a Subway Sandwich Shop, but it was more of a take out as opposed to having tables & chairs. Otherwise, everything tasted good. By the way, this Subway takes the company coupons.”

“Staff was friendly and very involved on the time we spent. Our instructor was very helpful and made it easy for us to understand how we kept score. We opened a tab and it was a pleasant atmosphere. Music wasn't to loud that you couldn't talk. Every lane was safe as they had cages and made sure people threw in their own caged lane. Overall I'd rate this place 9 out of 10”

“Busy spot with quick and easy service. Fun range in cocktails, crab fried rice is delicious and they had pork cheeks (served with thai chili slices and ginger, which was perfect), which is one of my favorite appetizers.

“Fantastic speakeasy sushi joint. Very small, no more than an handful of people may join the omasake style bar where 3 talented (and cool) chefs serve you the best crafted sushi you can get. Definitely going back soon.”

“Went for brunch. Good food but not great, pricey, with slightly over salted ham in the Croque Madame for my liking. We had a reservation for 4 but that changed to 6. They really couldn't accommodate that change, but it was last minute so I don't hold that against them. Very busy place with lots of energy.”

“We came here on a Sunday early afternoon and had one of our best recent dining experience. We live close by so we went in hoping it would be a gem and it absolutely didnt dissappoint. The garlic naan might just be the best we’ve ever had. The mussels were very fresh and not sure if it’s the season but the flesh was super fat. The sauce it was cooked in was also very very good. Dipping the naan in that sauce was straight heaven. We also ordered the rotisserie chicken, which we thought was a bit pricey at first but man, it was cooked to absolute perfection. Crispy skin, JUICY all throughout, with grilled lemons and a decent sauce. The service was also phenomenal. Our server had great energy, and provided us the perfect balance of attentiveness and space.
The vibe of this place is also top notch. The modest exterior is only hiding the spaceous, modern, and elegant interior.
Overall, we could not be more thrilled about this find and will definitely be coming back to try their drinks and sea bass dish! Highly recommended for an absolute treat.”

“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! We've been staying in the Franklin Guesthouse (hotel adjacent to Madre) for a couple of nights and decided to give Madre a shot - boy were we in for a treat! Firstly, shout out to Armando, who made us feel immediately welcomed with his warmth and energy! For food, we got the Frutti di Mare, Croquetas, Brussels Sprouts, Cornbread Madeleines (compliments from chef) and Chicken - massive MASSIVE props to Chef Bryan and his very talented team. To say that they cooked "well" would be the understatement of 2022. They absolutely blew our minds with top quality medley of ingredients, depth of flavor, and masterful execution in every way. Cocktails were fun and delectable, which added the perfect "pop" to the culinary rocket ship that Madre served up. Just when my wife and I were ready to call it a night, Chef Bryan and Armando were kind enough to bring out the Pot de Creme for us, which was the bow and ribbon on this very special dinner. My only regret of the night was not having enough stomachs to enjoy more of what Madre could serve up. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Madre!”
