“I heard about this restaurant on tik tok and decided to take my mom here for Mother's Day! I was expecting to do brunch, however they were doing a strict prix fixe Mother's Day menu, which were more lunch-based options. Although I was disappointed with that—the service, ambiance and food made up for it and exceeded my expectations! The clams and salmon focaccia are to die for! So are the pizza and cocktails! I got the Bianca pizza - DELISH & the amalfi cocktail was chef's kiss! The staff was so attentive and accommodating and I can't wait to go back. Shout out to Michelle for making my first experience so amazing! They also have valet parking as well.“

“Wife and I flew into JFK late one Friday. We were famished , it was 1030 by the time we got to Arthur Ave.. We parked and walked , came upon people eating alfresco. We asked if any place was still serving. The "MAN" Vic asked what we would like, from one of the tables. In no time we had a bottle of Vino Tinto in front of us and people were making us try food they were dining on. I felt like I was at my friends ,' THE PIAZZAS " house. “OMG some of the BEST Italian food I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Calamari so light crispy & tender. The Frutta di mare seafood pasta was perfect fresh fish, al dente pasta & the red sauce, soooo delicious. The wife's chicken fettuccine Alfredo was very tasty made with fresh cream & perfectly grilled chicken. Our waiter & the staff were very accommodating, he blessed us with complimentary deserts that tasted like they came from the finest bakery. “This is the First pizza place we went to in NYC and it did not fail! We wanted authentic and not something super popular but also really good. This could be the best pizza we have ever had. It’s atmosphere is what you think when you think nyc and your not from nyc. The menu is huge and the prices are really fair. Garlic knots were amazing! Pepperoni slices Amazing, thin and deep = Amazing!“

“My favorite Italian restaurant in NYC! Frankie’s is festive and fun, with superlative service and culinary delight. We came here with a large party and opted for the family style menu at $45/person where you choose from a large selection of options. We started with mozzarella di Buffala, calamari and house salad. All fantastic. Then two kind of pasta and the main courses which were chicken parm (maybe the best I’ve ever had) chicken Franchese and steak. Mouth watering! Followed by dessert and coffee. My other favorite spot on Arthur Ave is Tra di Noi, also incredible food, but a quiet little gem where you go for a classy date. Frankie’s is for fun!“

I’m especially partial to the Lilly with Nuts. It a uniquely New York flavor that Teresa captures so well. Although I’m not from the neighborhood, it certainly worth the trip. During one visit, I was fortunately confronted by a warm tray of freshly baked miniature sfogliatella sitting in parchment paper. I can still relish the experience. Whether it’s ices or baked goods, one is never overwhelmed by the note of sweetness, it rather the distinct flavor of the treat that shines through. You can’t go wrong here.“

“I tried the plain pizza and the garlic knots. They were amazing. The pizza comes in very large sizes, which is super fun. My friend got the margarita pizza with tomato slices, she said it was good too. The people that took our order is so kind; best service. In the store, there are tables to sit on and there's a TV playing. It's not a cozy atmosphere but it works nonetheless.“

“Ordered the spaghetti & meatballs lunch special with capellini pasta and extra sauce with a glass of ice water. The two meatballs were served sliced on both sides of a serving of al dente capellini. A generous portion of extra sauce was served in a separate bowl. Freshly shaved Parmesan cheese was presented in a stainless lidded container. The meatball slices were generous and soft and flavorful. The marinara sauce was thick and flavorful. It was a simple lunch but flavorful and filling. In the past I have enjoyed the exceptional chicken parmigiana, now one of the cheaper entrees on the main menu, and the tasty sausage and peppers. (These are offered with either pasta or salad.) I have never had their pizza which is one of their main items. Salvatore’s of SoHo is a destination Italian restaurant on Riverdale Avenue on the Bx7 bus route well worth the cost.“

“This place is wonderful! I often get orders of fettuccine Alfredo from here with the grilled chicken or fried shrimp. Alot of places just dump the sauce and boil the pasta and call it a day, but the food here actually has FLAVOR! The cashiers are always nice and respectful, and the wait for the food feels like nothin. 10/10“
