“Wife and I flew into JFK late one Friday. We were famished , it was 1030 by the time we got to Arthur Ave.. We parked and walked , came upon people eating alfresco. We asked if any place was still serving. The "MAN" Vic asked what we would like, from one of the tables. He was very accommodating and told us that we can upgrade pastas and sauces with our meals. He started us off with warm Focaccia bread, I then ordered the veal parm. and mixed it with the Cacio e Pepe and a glass of Cabernet. My wife ordered the Bolognese with an Aperol Spritz. I had put in my reservation that we were celebrating my wife's birthday and Nick brought three desserts to the menu which was a nice touch. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be going back to try other delicious plates.“

The Frutta di mare seafood pasta was perfect fresh fish, al dente pasta & the red sauce, soooo delicious. The wife's chicken fettuccine Alfredo was very tasty made with fresh cream & perfectly grilled chicken. Our waiter & the staff were very accommodating, he blessed us with complimentary deserts that tasted like they came from the finest bakery. “Nice set up here with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a pizza oven in the back that is slanging some good stuff out. The pizza michaelango was pretty good. It had albanian sausage on it. It was a little oily for my liking but still good. The regular pizza was also good. They do a nice job with the crust here. The burrata to start was just ok so would probably just stick with pizza next time.“

“Ordered the spaghetti & meatballs lunch special with capellini pasta and extra sauce with a glass of ice water. The two meatballs were served sliced on both sides of a serving of al dente capellini. A generous portion of extra sauce was served in a separate bowl. Freshly shaved Parmesan cheese was presented in a stainless lidded container. The meatball slices were generous and soft and flavorful. The marinara sauce was thick and flavorful. It was a simple lunch but flavorful and filling. In the past I have enjoyed the exceptional chicken parmigiana, now one of the cheaper entrees on the main menu, and the tasty sausage and peppers. (These are offered with either pasta or salad.) I have never had their pizza which is one of their main items. Salvatore’s of SoHo is a destination Italian restaurant on Riverdale Avenue on the Bx7 bus route well worth the cost.“

“This local gem offer an incredible vegan option! Their vegan cheese pizza blew my mind. Classic NYC pizza taste but with a vegan twist. It's close to my house too. Fantastic service. The servers are friendly both on the phone and in person. My questions were answered and my pizza was ready on time. When I got home, it was still hot and delicious. A pie worth every penny!!!
