“I've been visiting Johnny's for over 30+years. Today I went for a lobster roll which replaced the shrimp roll. last year this lobster was so delicious 😋 couldn't wait till the summer. unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. it is not longer on a garlic bun and now served on a plain hot dog bun :( also flavorless! last yr price was $24 and now up to $28 with no flavor and blah bun. please bring back the recipe from years before. thanks“

“Best fried or steamed fish you will ever have from a store front. And seriously maybe the cheapest. My go to is the fried flounder sandwich, $5 today, sometimes $6 cash for two huge pieces depending upon market price. They give you the tarter and lemon and tons of other condiments and spices to put on yourself, just how you like it, before they neatly wrap it up and bag it for you. I always tip them two bucks. Been coming and thankful for them for the last 25 years when they used to be a block south. There are similar looking joints but none nearly as consistently good as Dyre Fish is. I have tried so many, hoping. It is the oil they dont allow to be used too long and the fresh fish picked up daily at Hunts Point Fish Market. And the prices have barely gone up in all that time.“

“My favorite place for Dominican food. Sol was so helpful and sweet and helped me choose which types of food by explaining everything patiently. A wonderful staff person that makes me want to come back every day. The food is made fresh and it’s authentic Dominican food according to the locals. The place is beautiful and modern and clean. BTW if you get a special to go you can get a free can of (ginger ale or Sunkist). But if you eat in you don’t get the free soda. They already include 15% tip on your bill so no need to pay extra beyond the bill unless you want to. And if you get the grilled salmon steak special which is $11.95 and includes 2 pieces of maduro (sweet plantain) and rice it has bones. But if you get the fillet salmon they debone it and it’s more expensive at $24.95 and comes with 2 sides.“

“I was really happy about my stay with my family at this restaurant. We made a reservation. It was honored and there was no wait. The staff was attentive and helpful. The food was incredible . We had a variety of different meals and everyone was satisfied. The drinks were good too. The place was beautiful. Parking was a bit limited but it was the weekend so we gave grace, we also fortunately still found parking quickly and close by. The only issue we found is the music is way too loud. I'm not sure why this is even an issue , I can't imagine anyone is comfortable with music being so loud u can barely talk or communicate with your waiter. That was the most frustrating thing . Aside from that, the place is wonderful and I do hope they change that so it could be more enjoyable“

“We found this hard rock Yankee Stadium café much better than the one in Times Square! The waitress was super nice, the burgers were very good and the person who served us at the shop was really cool. It was our last meal before leaving for the airport to return to France so thank you to the whole Hard Rock Café stadium team, you are great!

We came here with a large party and opted for the family style menu at $45/person where you choose from a large selection of options. We started with mozzarella di Buffala, calamari and house salad. All fantastic. Then two kind of pasta and the main courses which were chicken parm (maybe the best I’ve ever had) chicken Franchese and steak. Mouth watering! Followed by dessert and coffee. My other favorite spot on Arthur Ave is Tra di Noi, also incredible food, but a quiet little gem where you go for a classy date. Frankie’s is for fun!“
