The sashimi and sushi were really good. Fresh and nice cuts. Appetizers were good, had a bunch of them and the sake was on the money. Only hit was the wasted green space...a dry one piece of lettuce. That was for the eye. If it's to eat give enough to eat, if it's for the optics, make sure it looks visually appealing. Anyway, small stuff...the place is fun and the staff is GREAT.
Im not sure why this place has such mixed reviews, I order from here all the time on Grubhub, It's my go to sushi spot. I went to the restaurant in person one time and the service was excellent, the waitress was kind, fast, and the food came out quickly. I always get the salmon sashimi platter with miso soup and salad. The fish is extremely fresh, the rice is deliciously seasoned, and the portions are large for the price. Sushi D is the first date we’ve ever been on as a couple. It is a quaint place where couples or friends can come to enjoy a meal while catching up on old times. The service is good and fast. You don’t have to wait too long for your meal. The fish is fresh and melts on your palate. I believe we fell in love after this first date.
