“I love this original location of p.j. clarkes! i've been here so many times it's hard to rate just one time. the service is always on point and the food is consistent. an elevated gastropub menu focused on a raw/chilled bar. but don't skip the burger and the chicken pot pie, both is which are fantastic. the bar area is first come, first serve, and reservations are taken for the main dining. even without a reservation a wait for a table isn't that bad. plus the red and white checker table cloth is such a fun novelty. oh and did I mention the martinis are big, nice, and cold?“

I mean from the top to the bottom the soft, perfectly toasted brioche bun, to the perfectly crisp and fresh lettuce and tomatoes and melty cheese, and their special burger sauce?! Whenever a restaurant has a special sauce I have to try it because I have high expectations and this one exceeded it. The grilled onions made it even better! The meat was perfectly cooked and so juicy. It was like my dream burger had finally come to fruition. I am also a big sweet potato fries lover and they make the PERFECT sweet potato fries, everything is balanced so nicely from seasoning to texture. It’s no surprise the chef has past experience working at Michelin star restaurants and even received compliments from THE Anthony Bourdain!!!! “As someone with Celiac Disease, it's pretty hard to find good gluten free food, but Wild is 100% gluten free. It was very reassuring knowing I could order anything without restrictions, and on top of that, the food was incredible. We had a bit of a wait, longer than expected at that time of night, however, when we were sat, we told our waitress that we were in a hurry and she got us fed and out the door in under 45 min so that we could make our "Top of the Rock" appointment. I can't recall her name but she was fantastic. I had the Cigar City brown ale, and a Tuscan chicken sandwich. Both were very good and paired well together. My son had a kids burger and liked it a lot. My wife had the Bill's Chopped Salad, and was pleased with it. I had about 1/2 of it, it is a good size, and we really enjoyed it a lot. The one hitch was my side of fries. I ordered a side of fries, but some how ended up with a side of disco fries. Disco fries are not my thing, but we didn't make an issue out of it, we were on vacation and wanted to enjoy our selves and we did.“
