My husband and I are frequent weekend guests at The Tasty Table because we like the food and the way we are treated as guests. I've noticed some less than positive reviews focused on difficulties getting a table during their busiest weekend times. This should indicate to all who are interested in going to The Tasty Table of how wonderful a restaurant it is. My suggestion is to take advantage of the 30 minute call aheads that are offered. You won't be disappointed!“

“This is my second time eating at Southern Kitchen and bar with my partner, our grandson, and his father.  It's a very nice place, a great atmosphere  spacious, clean, friendly, diverse, and family oriented. There's outdoor dining and free parking. The staff was very tentative, and our servers, Lauren and Kyle, were awesome. They menu gave you plenty of ordering options.  It was hard to decide what I wanted to eat, especially when I saw other people's orders passing me buy.  I didn't wait too long for the food.  When the food arrived, it was served steaming hot and tasty. If you dont want to sit and eat a meal, you can sit at the full bar and have a cold beverage.  I recommend you give this place a visit. Often walking into a coffee shop for the first time can feel daunting, but I received a genuinely warm welcome (and farewell) from multiple staff members, which immediately made we feel like staying for a while. Their cinnamon roll was everything good that makes up a cinnamon roll -- light, fresh, the perfect touch of cinnamon -- and THE ICING. I can't. Absolutely incredible. The only downfall was having to share with my daughter, whose eye about popped out of her head when she saw the deliciousness I was enjoying. Pairing that with their S'mores Hot Chocolate was the icing on the proverbial cake. There's magic in everything that Blondery creates. My favorite dish is the sauteed ginger and scallion with chicken and their tom kha soup is amazing. The drunken noodles with duck and the scallion pancake duck roll are also wonderful. The fried banana and homemade tiramisu are both excellent desserts.I am immunocompromised so I have only done takeout until last night when we sat outside in their lovely outdoor patio seating area. They have giant umbrellas that help to protect us from a few sun showers and we were treated a magnificent double rainbow during dinner.They also have plentiful free parking in the in the lot right next to the building..“

“Well let me say that out of the many burgers I’ve had, this was the best one in a WHILE! My cousin and I were out and hungry, and on a whim I searched for “burgers near me” and came across POW! Burger. When we walked in, the staff immediately greeted us, and our service was very good.I got the double POW! Burger with jalapeños added in and my cousin ordered the double Cheese Burger, and it didn’t even take 10 minutes, they came and left our order at our table, and we were SHOOK!These burgers are a hybrid via smash burger size but loaded burger presentation (see photo). We took our first bites, and the flavors just hit us like a semi-truck. The patties are made and cooked right in front of you, the vegetables tasted fresh, and their aioli sauce was on point. All in all, 8/10 grade, very good! I have had 10/10 burgers before from places that really push the limits of creativity and flavor, but there’s nothing wrong with going the tried and true way, classic always works!The ambience itself is good, they have a lot of seating, and it did get busy so you know people like the food. However, the grill is out in the open near some of the seating, which is fine, restaurants want to show you that they make your food fresh, but the quality and taste of your food should prove that on its own. Food was absolutely sumptuous; tempura appetizer was crisp and light, sushi and sushi rolls were delectable, chicken teriyaki was served on a sizzling cast iron mini skillet with hijiki (black seaweed for those who don't know) and simply dazzling. Service was impeccable; food was served promptly, water and tea were kept filled without having to ask, requests (extra pickled ginger) were addressed expediently. This place rivals anything in Manhattan and far surpasses anything of its kind up here. No parking lot but I took a chance and parked in the Key Food shopping center across the street; my nephew parked on the street and had no issue with metered parking. Yes the staff is Chinese, not Japanese, but so what? Aren't all the cooks and servers in Italian restaurants Latino? Get over it, for that dude who complained that it's a Japanese restaurant run by Chinese people. All that matters is that THE PEOPLE performed beyond expectation and delivered brilliantly.“
