“A fantastic Italian restaurant! Very good quality authentic ingredients, delicious wine at a good price. Two visits, both times the waiter service was at a high level, no one here pretends to be Italian style, it's just like in Italy (and in the best places in Italy!)“
“The food was spectacular. Our server, hostess, barmaid and valet were truly the best. They all deserve to be recognized on great customer service. The hostess came to our table well after we paid and asked us politely if we wouldn't mind moving to the bar. I understood the reasoning for this completely. The manner in which this was done was very professional. I know there are people that have a problem with this. We are not one of those. It's all in the way it is handled which was very professional. We did go to the bar and the staff was kind enough to offer us a drink for understanding. We were pleasantly surprised by this and very grateful. We appreciated the parking instructions sent by the restaurant. It made it so much easier knowing in advance what to expect. We made a long trip from Long Island and look forward to returning.“
“I’ve walked past this place everyday for more than a decade and I never went in because I always thought it was too expensive; up until a few days ago that I went to have dinner for the first time and it wasn’t as expensive as I thought! The food was bomb, calamari was stupendous and the chicken great. Service is on point and the ambiance is also nice.My total bill for dinner for 2 was around $100 and totally worth it.“
“It’s the best bowl of pasta you can get. I’ve been here 5 times in the past year. All the pastas are handmade, even the GF! Every pasta is done so well! Service is great, and if you like a little spice order the Calamari Arrabiata yum!!!!!!!!!!!“
“This and Pizza Sam's the last good pizza places in jackson heights. Pizza Sam is overpriced. This place is a bit overpriced but it's not to bad, they gotta compensate for inflation so i get it. The guy at the counter is great. If u guys read this I got a question. U deliver 10 blocks up to 93rd street? Between roosevelt and elmhurst ave? Thanks“
“The service was immaculate. Ana did a fantastic job at giving us a great experience. It was our first time here and she was attentive, kind, and fun! At the end she let us spin the wheel to win a prize and I got a free soda, but I was a little bummed because I wanted to win a free shot, but she gave me it anyways! Not just the service, but the food was actually really good. It is a lowkey place, but with great food with great portions for a fair price. The drinks were definitely potent as well. We ordered the arepas for 2 that came with nachos, colombian hot dog, premium steak fries that came with a fire show, sangria, and a modelo. Everything was so filling that I had to take most of the food to go. I would recommend this place to everyone!!“
“This restaurant can lend itself to a very noisy environment. Yet today, with several tables taken, conversation was easy and able to be heard. We have been here several times for brunch and a couple of times for dinner. Delicious salad with greens, grape tomatoes and fresh red onions cut over a chicken milanese. Companions enjoyed their choices of crab cake benedict and a large cubano sandwich served with homemade shoestring fries. Shared their homemade flourless chocolate cakes served with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream. Three happy people after an excellent brunch.“
“DaFranco and Tony without a doubt is the best Italianrestaurant in the Throggs Neck area. The food is delicious. Everything on the menu is awesome! True authentic Italian food. Great ambience and professional staff. Definitely worth the trip!“
“I love this truck because it's independent individuals making quality, fresh, craft food. I actually get a hot dog more often than a sausage hero, but both are very good. They allegedly use a Sabrett's (skinless) dog just like everyone else, but their dogs are far plumper than you find from most other places and they use a Martin's potato roll. And they're grilled, which I prefer to the boiled dogs from the other truck up the street. When I get a sausage hero (which I just got myself in the mood for), I get it topped with marinara sauce. There's only one negative to this truck. They shut down at around 3:30pm each day and I don't think they're ever there on Sundays or holidays. In my perfect world, they'd be there practically 24 hours a day, so if I had a craving at 11pm, I could get my dog or sausage hero. Like everybody else, they've raised prices - dogs are $4 and I think the hero sandwiches are now $12, but still well worth it.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tra di noi, an authentic Italian gem nestled in the heart of Little Italy. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was transported to the charming streets of Italy, and the culinary experience that followed was nothing short of extraordinary. The Fettuccini Carbonara was a revelation, perfectly al dente pasta coated in a velvety sauce that harmoniously blended eggs, cheese, and pancetta. Each bite was a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. The Fried Calamari was a crispy delight, expertly seasoned and paired with a zesty dipping sauce. It showcased the chef's skill in balancing textures and tastes, making it a delightful appetizer that set the stage for the feast to come. The Octopus Salad was a refreshing surprise, featuring tender octopus combined with crisp vegetables and a citrus-infused dressing. The medley of flavors danced on my palate, creating a perfect harmony of the sea and garden. The attentive staff at Tra di noi added to the overall experience, providing excellent service without intruding on the intimate atmosphere. The ambiance was cozy, with an authentic charm that complemented the exquisite cuisine. In conclusion, Tra di noi is a culinary haven for those seeking a genuine taste of Italy in the heart of Little Italy. The Fettuccini Carbonara, Fried Calamari, and Octopus Salad are not just dishes; they are masterpieces that showcase the passion and expertise of the kitchen. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Tra di noi is the place to be. Buonissimo!“
“What a great experience at Vetro. The staff is amazing. They are so polite and respectful. Special thanks to Teal at the front desk for finding a table for my wife and I so we could celebrate our wedding anniversary!! The place is spotless clean. Food was tasteful and yummy. We're definitely going back.“
“The menu is amazing, and the specials they are out of this world .....the chef will cook anything you want, the restaurant was very clean. the bartender Salvatore was professional and friendly ,very knowledge of mixology of any drinks ? that you want. I had excellent experience from management Nicholas and Joe to the Service, I recommend it 101%Vegetarian options: The chef cooks anything you want .“
“Way more than just an espresso bar. They have a kitchen and bakery and all of the food and deserts are amazing. The best coffee I've ever had as well. The prices are some of the cheapest you can find these days. It's a phenomenal place in every “
“I ride my bike/ e-scooter along Eastchester to and from work daily. I decided to stop in Thursday night and treat myself to dinner. The restaurant is so quaint, and welcoming. I had a cocktail, something margarita. It was supposed to be with cabernet, but I wasn't sure if I'd like a "red wine" margarita, so the server made it with white wine which was very kind of her. For dinner, I started with the honey truffle brussel sprouts. OUTSTANDING! My entree was the NY Steak with roasted potatoes and veggies. Delicious; the steak was made to perfection.I brought two friends with me last night for dinner. My one friend and I had the red sangria, which was very good. My other had a glass of red wine. None were good. My only advice would be to have a better selection of wine.I will be back!“
“I just found out about this restaurant a week ago and I've already been back again. The food is slamming and so are the drinks! I had the Caesar salad with chicken in it any the flavor was freaking AMAZING. It felt like I was eating a MEAL and it was just a salad. Omg! My price range was between 50 and 100 dollars bc I had 3 drinks (non- happy hour) with that salad. I loved everything.“
“Just spent several WONDERFUL hours in one of the most comfortable delicious restaurants I've been to in a long time. Not only was the food FANTASTIC but the staff were attentive, friendly and fun to deal with and Joe capped off the experience by making us feel welcome and like family. My pasta fazole, veal saltinboca were SPECTACULAR, my friends said their seafood appetizer was so good they almost didn't order a main course but when I suggested the chicken saltinboca and her husband had a fish dish that brought him memories of his childhood we knew this was truly a wonderful place that we'll have to go back to. And although this review is long I must admit I took home an order of chicken parm and two desserts (tiramisu and chocolate lava cake) it was a fantastic experience and I can't wait to go back. And the chocolate martinis are TERRIFICDietary restrictions: They adjusted the chicken saltinboca for someone who doesn't eat pork and it was still delicious.“
“I had the wedding of my dreams in Westbury Manor. My husband and I had a great experience, they made planning for the wedding simple. Sandra was helpful with organizing the reception for us. My bridal attendant Susan was the BEST! I will never forget how attentive and kind she was, she was an angel. George helped on the day of the wedding keep the flow moving and he was super encouraging towards me and my bridal party. Our guests enjoyed the food, they said it was delicious. I recommend this venue ?.“
“Stopped here for a quick bite. The mussels fra Diavlo were excellent. The sauce hit all the right notes, I finished every bit of it. Just perfect! The menu is rather small, but it was my understanding, that you can ask for different dishes, and they might be able to cook them for you.Great place, will come again if in the area.Parking: It's hard to find a parking in the area, but if you go a couple of blocks from Arthur Avenue, it gets better.“
“Italian restaurant in Roslyn village but not easily seen as its set back by the water. Food is good, service was good. Noisy and dark, needed a flashlight to see the menu.Sales are large size. My favorite in the Bronzino cooked in paper. There is a nearby municipal lot, street parking, and valet parking available“
“This was a great pizza place in the Bronx. We enjoyed the food and the service. The owners were friendly and great to talk to. The pizza was amazing and we will definitely return. And FYI the coke fountain machine is not out of order :-)“
“Hi I don't usually don't do reviews but I had a surprise birthday party for my wife on 3/23 of a party of 20 people and from the beginning dealing with and planning with EVA she went up and above my expectations walking me threw everything from beginning to end I can't say enough of her and Barbara and just wanted to thank Barbara our server handled all of us with no issues at all and all of the staff who helped with everything from Eva, Barbara and would give both of them 10 stars and more and food was absolutely exquisite“
“Warm, Friendly staff who make you feel welcome and at home. Great place to take the family! Great food, not the usual, very distinctive dishes. Best Pizza on City Island.Vegetarian options: If you call ahead, they will have fresh ingredients to order.Kid-friendliness: Staff went out of the way to engage with my six-year-old Granddaughter.“
“I had an amazing experience at the pizzeria! The pizzas were delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service - friendly staff, prompt service, and a welcoming atmosphere. A must-visit.“
“I highly recommend eating here!! The food is Amazing!! The Service is always on Spot!! They are always friendly and helpful. You never have to wait to call your server, there always on top of it!! The atmosphere here is so pleasant. So in all you MUST try Filomena's you will not be disappointed!!!!“
“My recent trip to Long Island was my first time back anywhere near NYC in a few decades. I only had time to get pizza at one place so I picked this place because of the reviews. Got a large sausage (regular NY style), it was very tasty but just a tad too thick for me to be NY style. Great pizza nonetheless but I've had better NY style in the midwest so I can't give it 5 stars. A little thinner and it's probably a 5 star pizza. The flavor is there.“
“Food was very delicious and would reccomend. I ate a pepperoni pizza with basil and the Caesar salad, and I have also heard the calamari is very good although I did not get it. The service was normally good, although we did have to wait for water refills for a sizable amount of time. The atmosphere was very loud and since I have hearing aids, the seating was not very friendly but the food and service more than enough to make my review go back to 5 stars.“
“I've been coming here for almost two years now. After my first visit I was very impressed. We've been coming almost every week since then and I have never had a disappointing meal or experience. The chef cooks everything well from seafood, pastas, meat, chicken and veal entrees to fresh salads, potato croquettes and sautéed veggies! Great selection of wines, drinks, desserts. Lovely clean dining room. Service is always extraordinary whether super busy or just a few tables. Now that I'm retired we livecgoing at lunch time. They have a terrific lunch specialist you're on a fixed income. Generous portions off the regular menu 75% of the time I'm bringing some home. Danny the owner couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. Most of the time Wilson is our server and Luis is the helper. Entire staff is great but really have to applaud Wilson and Luis for how well we've been taken care of from day one! My favorite restaurant, go enjoy, you will go back again and again!“
“We had my mothers' 90th birthday last Saturday and we are very pleased with the entire experience. Robbie was a pleasure to work with, he answered all our questions and was helpful with the food choices and the entire setup. Ignacio and Rueben provided outstanding service the day of the party, and dealt with late comers and we even went over the time frame a little bit. Now to the food, wow wow wow! Everything was delicious. The crowds favorite, Ravioli's and Pollo Zingarella. Highly recommend it all! Thank you Piccolo's“
“My brother and I had dinner at The Chef's Table in Lynbrook on Sunday evening (3/17). The appetizer and our entrees were excellent, ambience was very nice, service was fantastic, and there weren't a lot of people yakking away, so it was nice and quiet. The only thing I would have preferred was a male server, but the female server was great. I strongly recommend this restaurant for fine food, nice atmosphere, and great service.“
“Came here for weekday lunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food was amazing. The service was fantastic and very attentive. The lunch special prices are a great deal. They gave us a free dessert with a candle which was so nice. Highly recommend.“
“The food at Pizzeria La Rosa is simply the best. From the mozzarella to the rigatoni alla vodka to the pizza to the ITALIAN DOUGHNUTS (best in my opinion) - you will not be disappointed. They’re always trying new things and some truly wonderful specials. Matt and the entire team always make you feel at home. If you haven’t checked this place out, you’re truly missing out on the best.“
“We had the espresso martini (no Baileys) We had the bacon wrapped shrimp special appetizer , so good definitely for 1 person. We had the eggplant rigatoni regatti and linguine white clam sauce with shrimp and pancetta both delicious! Cannoli we shared for dessert, yummy !“
“The service was excellent. Very loud on Peak Busy times. Seating is very tight. They pack you in. If you are looking for a quiet, intimate setting, this is not the place on busy peak times. The food was okay. Steaks are great. Salad was okay. You are going there for the steaks. I had stuffed shrimp with crab meat. Real crab meat. It was a little on the dry side. The potatoes were good. The chocolate cake was decent, but the actual cake was very dry. Service was amazing, and you are not rushed.Parking: Valet parking“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Villa Milano, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that instantly made me feel like family. The crew at Villa Milano is truly exceptional - attentive, friendly, and always ready with a smile. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the pizza. Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? The pizza at Villa Milano is nothing short of spectacular. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, with a perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings atop a delectably crispy crust. Whether you're a fan of classic combinations or craving something a bit more adventurous, Villa Milano has something for everyone. Trust me when I say, you won't be able to resist going back for seconds (and thirds)! But what truly sets Villa Milano apart is the atmosphere. It's not just a restaurant; it's a place where memories are made and friendships are forged over mouthwatering slices of pizza. Whether you're dining in with friends or grabbing a takeaway, you'll always leave Villa Milano with a smile on your face and a satisfied stomach. In summary, if you're in the mood for delicious pizza served with a side of warmth and hospitality, look no further than Villa Milano. It's a true gem in the world of pizza restaurants, and I can't wait to go back for another slice of perfection.“
“I have been to Enzo's a few times and the place is very nice, the waiters are very nice and friendly, the food is excellent, and it is in a good location. The only thing I don't like too much is that the food is a la carte, and you end up spending so much money; verses other restaurants that you pay one amount and you get basically the same food you get their, however it's up to the individual. But I would recommend Enzo's cause the food is great. I love their Veal Parm it is very tender and you do get a nice portion“
“We had a pleasant visit to Luogo's. All the meals and appetizers were perfect. The sangria was amazing. I doubted our server when I saw he didn't write down our very large order but was relieved when he came back around to confirm he had my meal correctly. It's not a place I'd go back to by choice but defiantly wouldn't mind coming back if someone chooses this place for their birthday again. The vibe of this place is very nice, romantic, dress up nice and go in a date kind of place. I did see kids here but I wouldn't pick this as a place to bring younger children to. One thing I didn't like too much was one of the workers here knew someone from out party and kept coming over having side conversations and even bought him and only him a shot of some fancy cognac which was kind of rude seeing as he could of atleast offered the birthday girl (very clear by the balloons who we were celebrating) a shot as well. We were a party of about 14 so I get not getting a round for the table.“
“The service at Villaggio's was great! The staff are very accommodating and always working in harmony. The Rigatoni with Burrata and a Marinara Sauce was delicious & my favorite dish. My husband had the Garlic Shrimp with Capellini, Garlic and Oil, which he loved! Thank you Dominick, Bobby, Angela and Staff for making us feel like Family.“
“Although it's cash only and on the pricey side, it is worth every penny. Food it delicious, staff remembers you even if you haven't been there for awhile. My wife went in recently, although it was early and they weren't ready to do baked clams, they did it for her.We love their mixed fresh seafood. But their pizza is second to none. Their pizza in our opinion is NY BEST. Any topping you want, they have. You'll eat every bit, not even the crust is left over, in fact you work your way to the crust and that's the finishing point. That leaves you completely satisfied and filled.Love this place!!!I'll update with pictures next visit so you can visualize how delicious their food is.“
“North shores local staple. It's my go to, hands down. You'd be foolish to go anywhere else. Weather your in pt.wash., Rosslyn or Glenn head. 100% fresh every time. A true family establishment. Never disappointed.Parking: There's always a spotWheelchair accessibility: 4 wheels or two legs, your always welcome.“
“Uncle Peter’s was a wonderful dining experience! The service was great. Our entrees included the grilled skirt steak and pesto gnocchi. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the pesto gnocchi was very delicious— a great vegetarian option. The crème brûlée was fantastic, and delicious cocktails as well. Everything was top notch quality and there is nothing better than that ✨ would 100% come back and recommend to others ?“
“My family and I went there to celebrate my husband’s and my birthday. We were treated like royalty, the service, food and lovely atmosphere couldn’t be better! This restaurant truly lives up to its name! We look forward our next visit!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“We haven’t been to Lenny’s in a few years and decided to go for dinner on a Thursday night. The food was just as good as I remembered it. The fried calamari was great. My son devoured the mozzarella sticks. My husband got the linguini alfredo with breaded chicken and I got the penne ala vodka with grilled chicken. The portions were huge, we could have definitely shared. But the food really was fantastic.“
“Ardito's is staple of the community there in Mineola. Anyone who knows Rosa and Tony will agree with me that they are both amazing. The food is always on point and handed to you with a smile. The lunch hours can get pretty crowded and busy but is worth the wait. I recommend Arditos for everything from sandwiches to salads and pasta.. eggplant parm to die for and some of the best chicken cutlets I have ever had!“
“We had dinner here, very nice place, decor, spacious, clean. The bathroom nice and clean. Good service nice people. Good food,* however the portions were small.* Expensive. The mozarella sticks were half the normal size, quite small, pasta served in small bowl and not enough.I am not sure if I would go back for those reasons.“
“Employees are very good at there jobs & politeThey make a mean sandwich for sure and the prices aren't that bad for the times we are experiencingI will continue shopping there as long as they are in BusinessThank you for the Great food“
“I've been coming here wooo for a good amount of years, I am from Queens and when I want authentic Italian food I come here why multiple reasons one of them it's their food. I am always trying something new and they never seem to disappoint me! It's crazy I live in Queens and come this far to have a slice, lasagna or anything different today I went in and had a Philly cheese steak, it was delicious but not like the Philly cheese steak sandwiches from Philly lol. But over all I'll have it again it was delicious hands down.If you're in town, check them out right off the the LIR North Station Plaza in Great Neck. It's better than Gino's thats for sure!!!Kid-friendliness: It's very family oriented“
“Simply fantastic. Fresh crisp salads, with the perfect amount of dressing. Hot mouth-watering, cheese pie that was just out of the oven. And thoughtfully wrapped decadent chicken parm sandwich to go (and made everyone on the plane jealous when eaten a few hours later). Location super easy to get to from Cross Island Pkwy. Kudos & keep slayin’!!“
“This was our 2nd time to Matteo's. We were introduced to it by friends just last week and we knew we were going to return soon. Their special $39 menu is fabulous. They don't skimp on the selections, food is delicious and the portions are generous. Not to mention, they give you a glass of wine with it. Whoever put the menu together is genius and we can't wait to return and bring some friends and family to our new favorite place.“
“Great family feeling. Delicious food...owner???.Had my birthday dinner tonight....can't wait to go back!!!!Kid-friendliness: My 7 year old granddaughter Abigail loves it there. She can practice the two words she knows in Italian... Ciao Bella and loves the food“
“Wow! I recently moved to this area from the city, and was feeling lukewarm about the food options in this neighborhood. I can confidently say Toskana will be my go-to casual Italian takeout spot from now on...I'm still eating as I write this, but so thoroughly impressed I had to post a review immediately. Menu is fairly simple and classic for this type of establishment, but everything was executed perfectly. The chicken francese hero was buttery and bright, the rigatoni alls vodka was flavorful and decadent with pasta perfectly al dente even after sitting in takeout container, and broccoli rabe is garlicky and the perfect side. They also threw in a free (and generous!) side of garlic knots, which are also delicious in their own right. Everything arrived promptly, piping hot, and very fresh. I rarely order take out and needed some comfort food tonight after a rough day, and really hit the spot. Thank you!“
