“Pop's does it again! Your breakfast sandwiches are fantastic - creative, flavorful, healthy, and great value. Kale and eggs and avocado and egg whites.... Add multigrain bread and how does it get any better??!! One great note - Pops serves you on actual dishes, not paper or plastic, and uses responsibly made coffee cups and other items to reduce their impact on the environment. This makes me love Pops even more! Enjoy!!!“
“Roast'd offers high-quality and fresh coffee, as well as friendly and excellent customer service. All of the baristas are professional and knowledgable about coffee - especially Edgar, who is so friendly and thoughtful, always going out of his way to make customers feel at home and enjoy their experience at Roast'd. Overall, a wonderful coffee spot in Bergen County I return to again and again!“
“Finally found my fav café near my neighborhood!!! Although it's a little more than a 10-minute walk, the cafe's fits my expectations (table availability, cleanliness, customer serivce, etc) and it's really a great place for you to chat with a friend or even work with your laptop since the Wifi is great. There is a variety of drink options with their homemade specialty like Horchata Latte. It's only my secret: you'll get 5% discount if you work or live nearby, so recommend you to visit often!!!“
“I came here because a friend recommended it. Overall, it's a great spot for vegans and vegetarians. We were welcomed right away, and everything we ordered was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the cocktails, which were reasonably priced. The sitting areas and the tables Are very small, I wasn't 100% comfortable. :(But the food and service covering for it !However, I was a bit surprised by the suggested tip range on the bill, which seemed quite high, starting from 20% to 27%. Although tipping is optional, seeing such a range can make you feel pressured to tip within those limits. I think a more reasonable starting point for tipping options should be around 12% and up.“
“This is my second time here. Overall great vibe, but I think the food is a little bit too salty this time. The thousand year old egg is my favorite. Just be careful that the pepper topping is very spicy.Probably because it’s Chinese new year time, and also Friday night, service is slow.“
“Loved this coffee shop! It looks tiny but has a 'secret' upstairs area that is really nice to get some work done. I was a bit skeptical about infused coffee at first (due to bad experiences in other places), but it turned out to be awesome!! Alejandra is super friendly and welcoming and makes this place feel like home. Highly recommended if you're in the area and are looking for great coffee and home-like vibe.“
“My favorite spot for coffee in the UES. But what makes this shop better than the others in the neighborhood is its staff. Derek is an incredible barista, and his friendly and caring personality definitely helps me have a great start of the day.“
“I go to school around the corner and swing by here for lunch when it’s in my budget. Delicious wraps and very very nice staff. Once they mixed up the orders and gave me the wrong wrap, but they refunded my order when I came back and told them. Highly recommend! I usually buy and then take to eat along the east river.“
“Though this place is pricey for its location, their pastries are absolutely delicious. Their seasonal goat cheese and honey bread was warm and homey. Their Babka was delicious. This place is not nut-friendly for those with allergies and doesn’t have much seating for how busy it gets.“
“The best udon restaurant in NYC. Their noodle is fresh and chewy. The soup is very flavorful and even though it is quite pricey but worth the money. But the way they eat us is awkward because a long table will be shared with 5 couples. To prevent that, You should make the reservation before “
“I came here last night with two of my friends and we were very impressed with the customer service here. I've always seen this place, but never stopped in but I've been craving authentic Italian food. We made reservations for 5:30p which was clutch because after 6:15p on a Saturday this place was packed! To start the customer service was phenomenal and I was impressed with how the waiters remember all the specials because there were so many. They also checked on our table often to see if there was anything we needed. Now for the food, they have a Flatbread that comes with a red sauce to start which is very appetizing. We got the fig salad which was perfect to start along with the steamed clams. For my entree I got the Ravioli and I'm glad I did. Overall this meal was so satisfying that of course I wanted more. Happy most of all with the service. Thanks for having us and thanks for an amazing 1st time experience at your restaurant. I'll definitely come back soon.Parking: Free after 7pm, the meter is 2hr street parking but we found a park pretty easily across the street around 520p on a Saturday. Probably depends on weather and time of day.Kid-friendliness: Saw lots of families dining while we were there.“
“My husband and I found this little gelato place in little Italy after having a disappointing dinner. My husband had the mango gelato and I had a a scoop of the pistachio and hazelnut. All three flavors were amazing! Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.“
“Small, immaculate, and cheerful space with reasonable prices given the high quality of their sandwiches, coffee, and juices. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Their Cool Chick sandwich is my favorite so far but plan to try some of the others as they all look healthy and “
“This is my neighborhood bar! I don't get to go often, but when I do Travis and the other bartenders are so nice and welcoming. I recently had my birthday party at their private back room and Travis checked in to make sure everything was going well! The room had amazing atmosphere and was very clean and well designed. We weren't able to hang decorations on the wall, but was allowed to hang them on the back curtain and use balloons. Service is always amazing but most importantly the drinks and food are top notch. I accidentally left a bday gift at the party and they were able to find it for me later that weekend. Thank you for a good time and hope to be back soon!!“
“Stumbled upon this place as our hotel was nearby and my only regret was that we didn't find it earlier in the trip. Thankfully we looked at reviews prior to coming because it led us to try the ube latte (which I don't believe is on their written menu). The ube latte had a true ube flavour from what I know from the Philippines and it was absolutely delicious. We came back the next morning right when the cafe opened to squeeze in another ube latte for our flight!“
“Johnny Cerini helped me diagnose and repair my expresso machine by phone and text remotely even if I didn't purchase it from him. He saves you trips and/or sending your machine over for service selflessly. A gesture I will never forget and that will make me buy from him anything I need in the future. Congratulations, you are a true businessman focus on great service and long term partnership with your clients!!!!“
“First of all, the sister of the owner was there. And she was the kindest person I have encountered in NYC.Also the egg tart was so good!It is like a sports bar vibe, so it does not look like a café.4 dollars for egg tart can be bit expensive but hey it is cheaper than to go to Lisbon.“
“Pizza was amazing. It was our first place in New York to get pizza. Tried a few other places and kept coming back. Grabbed a few slices to take back home because it was so good staff is friendly and welcoming. Even double wrapped the pizza for me to keep it safe on the plane. Will definitely be coming back every time we come to NYC.“
“Exceptional Service by Gift K.My dining experience at THEP Thai was transformed into an unforgettable evening, thanks to the server, Gift K. Her professionalism, deep knowledge of the menu, and genuine enthusiasm for Thai cuisine made our meal truly special. Gift K’s recommendations were spot on. For anyone looking for outstanding service that elevates your meal, Gift K at THEP Thai is the person to ask for.“
“I was starving and was looking for a quick fix that would satisfy my hunger. Thankfully, I stumbled on this place and decided to check them out. Their menu is straight forward and easy to order from so I ended up getting their kimbap bulgogi and four assorted tofu bites. I was surprised how artistically beautiful their rolls were and it was tightly wrapped and super delicious and very tasty. Which made it easy for me to pop them in my mouth as I took it to go. They don't have seating inside as this place whatever because their food is really good so I'm not going to complain. As for their tofu bites, it was amazing. It hit such a high note and burst with umami flavor. I esp enjoyed the mushroom. Silky and delicious. I definitely recommend this place for sure. If I'm nearby, I would definitely go here again.“
“This is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Everything tasted so fresh and homemade, especially the tortillas. The Birria Nortena was juicy, tender, and delicious! Plus the portion size was very generous. The three other people I was with got steak tacos, chicken enchiladas, and Carnitas Michoacanas. All were amazing! It looks like a small place when you see it from the front but the restaurant is actually downstairs.I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice sit down Mexican restaurant.“
“There's usually a line. We came on a Saturday around 730pm and waited about 25 mins (from the line to getting our pizzas). They have outdoor seating and a few seats inside. We got the spicy salami, anchovies, Margherita. Thin crust, good crunch and not too saucy (some are overly sauced and causes it to be too wet). If you're coming here, expect a wait and be sure to get more than one slice“
“One of the best avocado mash and BEC I’ve ever had.Came here for the first time yesterday. Ordered pick up and got there just when they finished. Food was nice and hot and was planning to write a review but I wanted photos. It was too late. Came again today, food was ready and was greeted by a different person but still very kind. Again my meal didn’t disappoint! Let’s get into i:Avocado mash - 5 stars perfect portion of avocado on their wheat bread. With the egg and little honey they put on it, mwah chefs kiss! I wish I had put hot sauce on it (which they have) but still good withoutBEC - this is the winner for me! I got it on an everything bagel and each ingredient was so fresh both times. Nobody is doing it like 19 Cafe! They wrap Your sandwiches in these cute paper (see photos below) gotta say this might just be my new breakfast spot. Oh and did I say it’s soooo affordable for being in Williamsburg. Yall gotta check them out.“
“The best cortado in the city and a chocolate chip cookie that’s to-die-for. The cortados are always extremely smooth and creamy with a delicate flavor. The cookie I once tried was extremely crisp and melted in my mouth. The staff are really friendly as well. Love this place!“
“All sorts of teas and coffees for sale here. It's very old fashioned, dark and has loads of jars of tea and coffee around, with old fashioned scales and grinders. It's like walking back in time, definitely an interesting place to visit.“
“I hosted 25 people here, in the back patio, and Avoca was fantastic. So accommodating, allowed everyone to have separate tabs, got the heaters out, and lent us speakers (it was a trivia night). The food and drinks are excellent (get the truffle fries and the Smokey Oaxaca cocktail!), and the service truly could not have been better. The vibe inside is swanky but chill, cozy and also a little fancy, not like a pub. Avoca is definitely one of my fave UES bars and restaurants.“
“Clean and bright space, though a bit tight. Food was brought out very quickly, great service and drink recommendations (try the lychee mint soda and Thai iced tea). Spring rolls were ok - could be more flavorful. Drunken noodles with tofu was excellent. Masuman could have been better - potatoes should be skinned and the curry itself should be slightly thicker in consistency. There is great value - the dishes are ample in size. Overall - enjoyable experience.“
“My favorite coffee shop in Astoria. I'm here everyday. Such good espresso and the nicest, friendliest staff I've ever met. I particularly love Valeria who is so sweet and charming. The owner, Pedro, is there every day, ready to give you a brotherly pound and ask how you're doing. Come here!“
“Fun vibes! Great selection of beer on tap, including cider. We came here in February and sat inside with our dog. Plenty of pups inside of various sizes. They don't make food, but there is a food truck (cuisine may vary). You can also bring in your own food from elsewhere.“
“I recently visited this craft beer place on a friend’s recommendation and was amazed to find it surpassed its excellent reputation. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxed evening, and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. The selection of craft beers was impressive, each with its own unique flavor profile, showcasing their commitment to quality and variety. This place is a true hidden gem for craft beer enthusiasts, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!“
“I went there after searching for a good restaurant in New York, and although the udon soup is definitely delicious, it is definitely not a place I would go to during a short trip. It's just a local udon restaurant. But I liked it. I feel like I'm just an ordinary person in New York. The store on the street has a better atmosphere than the indoor store. There are many Japanese udon restaurants everywhere. The udon ladle size is the best for eating soup. Cola tastes like cold medicine. ha ha ha.“
“I have to come back to try the coffee and some pastries but gotta say, i was there today with my dog (he had some treats there), the owner is very friendly, the space is beautiful and it has a very cool vibe, i got some records?! there were some people chilling in the laptop (maybe working, i noticed there is wifi and great music was playing). great place ❤️?“
“Small shop but packed with flavor. There are only 2-3 seatings inside by the window and plenty of outdoor seating. B.E.C.A aka Bacon Egg Cheddar Cheese Avocado Smash - one thing I noticed is that it wasn't a thick cut bacon strip. This was served on a nice brioche bun!! The combo is great, there was no need to add ketchup or hot sauce, it was seasoned and merry well together as is. Iced mocha - most mocha elsewhere taste watered down by the amount of milk it is diluted with. But this ice mocha, I can taste the bold and strong flavor of the coffee/expresso which is what I like!!!“
“This place is a fantastic Mexican restaurant! ?? Jajaja Mexicana serves a wonderful selection of delicious ? Mexican dishes ?️ - everything from tacos ?, burritos ? , nachos, quesadillas, tamales , and more! Definitely get the Nachos, Chips and Guacamole ?, Atun Warpito, Chorizo Burrito, and the Coconut ? Queso ? Quesadilla! Staff ?? is super friendly and professional, ambience ? is fantastic, and the place is nicely decorated! ?️ I wish I came here more often!“
“It feels like the area has become saturated with high alcohol hazy IPAs, which I do enjoy, but this place offers more variety for the everyday beer lover. Very friendly staff, lots of indoor and outdoor space and if you catch it on the right day, you get an awesome collaboration with some of the cities most underrated food trucks and tasty bites. Great way to spend some time. Just wish there was more regular TV viewing for sports, but that's just my bias.“
“Every time before last night I had been to New York City, I've only ever had my visits in Manhattan. This was my first time in Brooklyn. I had come to the city to go to a stop on the Light Places Tour as I had purchased a ticket well before the event. I was already checked in to The Bogart at LuxUrban (did they ever get a Yelp page added yet?) and before I went to go dance my brains off, I needed something for dinner. This dinner was one of the last things I had worked out a plan for for the visit and only managed to reserve a 7 pm table on the morning of on Google.Out of towners such as myself wouldn't just be able to know about this place like 80 years beforehand, but I'm glad I had found this. It serves New American and Mexican food alike, but its look is unmistakably Mexican. Red walls and the decor really sell the look and it pulls it off SUPER well! Everything was easy to find, so you for example didn't have to go on a 90-minute manhunt just to get to the bathroom. The food you see in these 2 photos was my order. It was my first time having Esquite, and the Chicken Milanese smelled great upon arrival. Everything I had in that order was delicious and I definitely recommend this place if you are in Brooklyn and are in the mood for Mexican food! Seriously, the Esquite especially was heavenly! The service was also really good. Was seated pretty right away even though I was about 20 minutes early, and I was already eating by the time my reservation was actually supposed to begin. Waiter was nice and even checked in every so often to see how I liked the food. I even got to watch a good portion of Spider-Man: No Way Home on their TV to my side as I ate which was a nice touch.Rock on Leslie's!“
“The vibe here is so cute! I love the flowers around the entire coffee shop and how on theme everything is. When we went here, it was pretty packed so we didn’t get the chance to sit inside, but would love to come back and sit here to read or work. Got a hojicha latte which was also very good, and I don’t know many cafes that offer hojicha lattes.“
“Was recommended this spot by the LitSociety podcast. Great matcha! Also, I am always searching for reads that resonate with my latine experience. I was exited to see the rich book selection of not only the latin diaspora, but Asian, African, and Caribbean. The barista was friendly and helpful.“
“I always order a keema palata because it’s been my favorite dish since visiting the Burmese Bites stall at Queens Night Market in Corona. The way it’s made is fascinating to see. The dough is spread out very thinly and placed on a cooking surface where it is then topped with a minced chicken filling. It’s very similar to mughlai paratha in Bangladeshi cuisine but has a difference touch of flavor. The finished product tastes great with the cucumber yogurt sauce. My only issue I is with the oily texture which can sometimes overpower the flavor and quality of the dish. Other than that the keema palata is a hit and all the items on the menu are halal.“
“I got a small cup of Peanut-Butter and Madagascar Vanilla I really enjoyed both. I tried my wife’s chocolate but it was to much chocolate for me. They do allow samples I also tried the banana split. It was interesting. Good flavor. I would say just go with what you feel but definitely ask for a sample first if you’re unsure about a flavor.“
“Visisted with a co worker and worked remotely from their place for half a dayLOVED the vibe of the place, the food was good, just not memorable - but I would not mind goong backThe service was quite good and the atmosphere and style is one of a kindIt's a very cool place to visit if around the area - but it's not like if I would go all the way there though... :)“
“Great food experience during our stay in Manhattan. Thanks to the lovely staff for welcoming us in this nice lower east side trendy atmosphere. We felt ourselves as we were living in the neighborhood. Not to mention the food which was great ?“
“We had a truly wonderful meal here! The service was excellent and the waiters were helpful and friendly. The place is small, but not uncomfortable. The raw beef slices and arugula was a great start to the meal. Excellent cut of meat and flavorful dressing on the greens, also served with delicious cheese. The pasta dishes are amazing. The sauces and meat served in the dishes were quite outstanding. Each bite was riveting. The desserts were a perfect end to a great meal. The tiramisu was seriously the best I've had.Would recommend!“
“A little gem in the heart of Corona. This place offers a variety of icee. They are freshly homemade and reasonable pricing. They offer several sizes. I can tell you I tried the peanut butter icee. This is one that I was hesitant on trying because well the sound of it was not appetizing. I decided to try it and I can say this is my favorite! It has peanut butter chunks in it. Pineapple and mango are also good.“
“For being my first time going my expectations were met. The restaurant was beautiful the whole vibe was just perfect for tonight. The service was amazing super sweet and always asked us how our food was. The food was so good, nothing that we ordered disappointed it was perfect. I will definitely be going back.“
“It’s rare to see a brewery have great beers, tons of indoor and outdoor space and food options nearby but Focal sure does! And the bathrooms are individual stall/rooms which I found a nice touch. Food from next door can be ordered and brought over. Very good find!“
“Great little spot, but note that the menu prices online aren’t accurate anymore, so I’ve uploaded an up to date photo of the menu with pricesVegetarian options: They use Beyond Burger patties in the veggie burger, but no vegan cheese or mayo options.“
“Hands down the BEST service I’ve ever experienced at a boba place*the boba shop worker put the straw into our boba drinks for us & says “try the drink. I want to make sure that you like it before you leave” how thoughtful is that?! impeccable service*the cashier was funny & chatty- great banterHighly recommend, would rate 6 stars if we could“
“I am mad at myself for not coming here sooner. The food, drinks, service, ambiance - 10/10. They really did a wonderful job with this place. I haven't been this impressed with a place in a long time! Everything on the menu is delicious and on top of that, the cocktails are very reasonably priced. Cash only - ATM onsite if you forget. We are so happy to find a new place that we love!“
“I have known the owners for quite some time at other locations. Definitely a great place for some fresh food and the actual restaurant is a precursor to the discotheque of Colombian music at the end of the night. So feel free to experience fresh food and if it is late enough stay and enjoy the party at a true Colombian Gen in the heart of East Elmhurst in Queens NY. Expect the music to be true Colombian. If you need to call ahead call ahead.“
