“For me it’s an absolutely perfect dining experience. I had the best server. Best rib steak and fries and pecan pie. Amazing vibe. Definitely not overrated or overpriced. Tasted way better than Gallengher and Wolfgang. Those 2 are real overrated ones.“
“Everyone of us has dined out for steak dinners but very few establishments remained consistent. This has been my fourth time dining here and it’s been the same since my first dining experience- consistent and attentive service! No matter the volume of service, club A dedicates their time and effort into making your dining experience exceptional.“
“Feel a New York vibe in this iconic restaurant. Holders of priority pass get a voucher!my friend had the hummus platter and was pleasantly surprised since this is an airport . I go for the drinks and the bartenders are always pleasant and pour generously. Alexis brought me good luck as I received a great piece of news while sipping a gin and tonic! And Sabin greets with a gentle smile and makes you feel like a VIP.. as wonderful as Bobby vans is- the restrooms across the walkway are the worst welcome to New York - find another location“
“Our dinner at The Capital Grille was fantastic. The atmosphere was perfect...sophisticated, elegant, comfortable, and designed to accommodate pleasant conversation without having to raise one's voice to be heard. The staff were wonderful, patient, and caring in all areas...personal presentation, listening carefully, speaking in professionally-friendly tones, accommodating reasonable requests, delivering orders in an efficient manner and making the food visually attractive. One of our entrees was seafood and the other was beef. Both were made and delivered at the exactly correct temperature and level of "done-ness". The desserts were absolutely delicious as well. Our meals were perfect in taste and in volume. We celebrated a birthday at my table and the staff was generous in providing an unexpected and beautiful dessert made especially for our occasion. Our table consisted of good friends who hadn't seen each other in a long while, so our conversation was important to us. The staff respected our "space" and we never felt rushed or pressured. We were thrilled with the whole experience and felt that it was worth the price that we paid.“
“Quality Food, Service and Ambience! If you want a Great tasting steak, cooked to perfection; You have to go here. Family friendly atmosphere. Whatever your preference, it’s all Good. Definitely a place you’ll wanna go back too. Can’t wait to go again!“
“Great food, and the waiters are very nice and pleasant. I would definitely recommend for people to go here. The music is very calming, and the overall experience is just great. Lunch special including weekends is exceptional value.Parking: On Philip Avenue and Logan Avenue, there is plenty of parking down Logan, about a 2 - 3 minute walk to the restaurant.“
“Had a most enjoyable dinner with my Sweetheart...... and Sofia the most Professional, Personable Server.... as well as the evening Staff!.... Due to circumstances we have not been to Outback for many years (though we are within walking distance lol)...Sofia really gave us a warm welcome back... and simplified all our questions about suggestions of what we should order....Our meal was delicious...BRAVO SOFIA...She deserves a special acknowledgement and we will be back.....ONLY if Sofia is our Server...“

“We had the best experience at Bobby Van's! Our waiter, Paul, made our meal so memorable by offering outstanding menu suggestions, being incredibly attentive despite a packed restaurant, and keeping us entertained with his delightful personality. The meal was spot on: great wine, oysters on the half shell (incredible), Caesar salad, the porterhouse for two (wow!), sautéed mushrooms, cheesecake and after dinner drinks to top it off. We will definitely be back!“
“The tastiest place in the neighborhood without competitorsVegetarian options: No. This is a meat only restaurantDietary restrictions: nothingParking: Usually there isKid-friendliness: Suitable for the whole familyWheelchair accessibility: there is“
“Brick-walled institution in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn serving up spectacular steak and seafood. Incredible old world ambience and can’t say enough of their impeccable service. Overall just an incredible spot to dine in.St. Anselm is most famously known for their signature Angus Butcher’s Steak so if it’s your first visit, this is the absolute must on the menu.“
“I’d have a difficult time believing there’s a better old school style steakhouse in New York. I was lucky enough to return here for dinner yesterday evening after not having been since the age of 16. Everything is just as I remembered. All staff were immensely pleasant, charismatic, and the perfect level of attentive. I opted to sit at the bar and ordered an impeccably balanced Boulevardier followed by a neat pour of Stagg (Jr.) bourbon. These were ideal pairings to the hashbrowns, asparagus, and medium rare sirloin that I ordered. The food was prepared to the perfect temperature and texture.Everything about this experience conveyed class, precision, and simplicity. Sparks proves that you don’t need to be the priciest or the flashiest to be the best.“
“Est. 2010Layout/atmosphere*Elegant (chandeliers, white table cloths, red & gold curtains, soft music); tables; old fashioned bar in middle of the restaurant (no seating)Service*Good; waiters in shirts, vests & black tiesFood/drink*Sea Scallops (Avocado Mashed Potatoes, Madeira Truffle Sauce) - Good; tender fish; creamy potatoes; sweet sauce*Filet Mignon (8 oz) with Foie Gras (bordelaise sauce) - Good; creaminess from the foie gras*Gnocchi with butter, chives & truffle oil - OK; nothing noteworthy*Complimentary dinner roll (onion) with butter“
“Emily was our server and she was beyond excellent! She gave us time and had suggestions. It felt like we knew her after only a few minutes. We started with a dozen oysters then We had the porterhouse for two and shelled king crab legsMelt in your mouth, eye rolling delicious!Parking: There was no parking. Valet was ideal“
“We ate there two Shabbats in the last month.Excellent foodExcellent service .Ephraim the owner is there and takes care of everyone.Reasonable price for a very good Saturday night dinner(New prices are expensive). In short, delicious, nice and worth every dollar.with appetite“
“As one would expect of a good steakhouse, the meal was pricy, but delicious. The dimly lit upper room has a good daytime view of Van Cortlandt Park.Parking: They have on the street valet parking, so I assume there is ample room for most of the guests.“
“The food is tasty. The atmosphere reminds me of me of the old fashion steakhouse. The chef is personable. The wait staff is great. Ask for John, for top notch service. The prices are compatible. It's a great place for family dinner, friend gathering, or date night. .“
“The service was definitely great. Fast and friendly staff. They deserved the 18% priced-in gratuity. (I usually disagree with priced in, but they werr worth it)The food was 7/10 at best. I ordered a medium-well T-bone that ended up being served medium anyway. The meat itself was lacking any seasoning and required a hefty amount of salt on each cut of meat. (And I am salt sensitive, so that should tell you something) It was also difficult to both cut into and to chew. The steak could have also had some char but didnt. I cook better steaks myself and im not a chef by any standard, nor do I have the facilities that a restaurant does. The fries were okay and I didnt touch the bread, but it did look good. The whiskey sour was watery. Theyre supposed to knock you on your a* so you crave another one. LoLThe ambiance was okay. More akin to a TGI Fridays than say a Gallaghers. The female staff were all extremely good-looking and im a 30 year old athlete myself. If you want to go out and enjoy a steak but on a budget, this is a solid choice.“
“For nearly two decades, I've frequented this establishment, finding it to be the epitome of excellence among New York City's myriad dining options. From the impeccable service to the tantalizing array of dishes, every aspect of the dining experience here surpasses expectations, making it an enduring favorite of mine.“
“Last night I attended blt prime and not only was the service amazing but so was the prime rib . Prices were on the high side but our server made the effort to make a friends birthday special. Food tastes fresh and I was very happy with the establishment .“
“Meet the meat is an amazing place for a delicious dinner. You could be here for an hour or hours. The food here is all delicious and delectable. Meet the meat has a wonderful ambience and fun amazing service I 110% recommend this place the hashbrowns are amaze balls.“
“Staff were wonderful and the service was on point. We were a large group but the food arrived well placed and warm all at the same time. We did not ask for a birthday cake but they overheard us congratulate our colleague and surprised us with a birthday cake and cakes for the table, free of charge. Very attentive and high quality food. Ribeye was outstanding! Fish incredibly fresh.Vegetarian options: Well done!!Dietary restrictions: AccommodatedKid-friendliness: Accomodated“
“Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Had the $40 lunch special and so did my wife. Both steaks cooked to perfection. Probably the BEST steak I've ever eaten. We do a travel and food channel on YouTube from our home in London and will certainly recommend this outstanding establishment on the East side of Manhattan. Definitely 10/10.“
“I've wanted to try a Peter Luger steak for years and was not disappointed by the experience. We went to the Great Neck location and found it was not crowded at lunchtime. We had reservations but they probably weren't necessary at least when we went. The atmosphere was exactly what I expected, old school steakhouse all the way. I had a single steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The dry aging really brings out a strong beefy flavor which is amazing. Dana had a hamburger which she enjoyed as well. We didn't have any sides but the assortment of bread was very good. Key Lime pie with fresh made whipped cream and coffee was a perfect way to finish our meal. Our server Dragan was very attentive and we enjoyed talking with him. Highly recommend this!“
“Steak was amazing, actually one of the best cooked steaks I’ve ever had. The bar is severely overpriced though, the service is friendly and amazing too. I’m giving 4 stars but the prices at the bar and when they choose to charge the outrageous gratuity is an issue for me… I’ve got no complaints over the price of the steaks either (skirt steak for $40 is funny though) it’s just the prices at the bar that are crazy. Seriously the best cooked steak I’ve ever had. Never thought I’d go to crown heights for a great steak, yet… I do see myself going back!! (Just won’t go to the bar)“
“Came here with friends from Irland who wanted some middle Eastern style food and OMG I’m so glad we did. The food was amazingly delicious. As soon as we sat down they brought us a hot fresh from the oven flat bread with so many salads that colored up the table and this was only the beginning. I recommend this place to anyone it’s truly a Middle Eastern experienceKid-friendliness: They have crayons for the kids to draw on the paper like table cloth! It gave us adults some time to relax while kid drawing ☺️“
“The food was very delicious, I just expected something betterThe service was not very good, and apart from the fact that there was a kid running and screaming in the restaurant,The dessert is very delicious, just like the sangria,We ordered a grill for one, the place was very well decorated and clean. but not to return“
“The chase: Excellent old-school cozy neighborhood chop house, with red leather booths and a classic bar that serves artfully mixed classic cocktails. Donohue's is a portal to the past, a comfortable neighborhood joint, what used to be called a red booth steak and chop house. Though I had not been here in over 20 years (has it really been that long?), Donohue's has always been my touchstone for the classic red booth atmosphere and cuisine. "The Daily Grill" chain scratched this itch from time to time, as did Beverly Hill's "Grill in the Alley," but last night I decided to go crosstown and go back to the mothership. Though it is true that one cannot go back home again, one can certainly go back to the same neighborhood. The drinks were exemplars of the archetype. My beautiful dining companion had a gin martini (not a fake vodka version), and I had a Manhattan (made with bourbon, not rye... yeah, I'm a hypocrite); both drinks were beyond excellent, dare I say sublime? These are not heavy pours, they are balanced and not overpowering, allowing your tastebuds to do their work. We eschewed appetizers. I had the London Broil. My companion the hamburger. The hamburger with cheese (American) -- excellent! Ordered medium, each bite was better than the last. Even the bun was great. The london broil: it was London Broil, the poor man's cut, what used to be served as the steak at IHOP (it's true). The mushroom gravy was a bit heavy handed, but you get what you order and it was a good example of the presentation and serving of such a dish. The creamed spinach was excellent and did not rely on bacon bits to do any of the lifting. Service was friendly and appropriately non-intrusive. The bar still had the Christmas lights up in mis February... which I love. I think dark bars need to have Christmas lights up all year. The snowmen in the window... the jury is out. The not so great: The bread was below par, the quality of a pedestrian soft-crusted store-bought baguette. The butter, however, was a good temperature for spreading without being melted. That said, I was hoping for a grilled sourdough. The baked potato was nice and soft on the inside, but so was the skin and I prefer a crunch thicker skin. The menu is pretty thin and prices are high. You can't go home again, but you can go back to Donohue's to get a solid drink, the burger and the creamed spinach. Maybe the salmon. I'll report back.“
“We are regular customers and each time we come here, we are treated like family. Recently we celebrated my husband's 40th birthday. Our waiters and staff went over and beyond to make his day so special. Our guests were very impressed as this was many of their first time here. You should know that we are no strangers to fine dining and big-time steak lovers . .but Empire East 50th is genuinely top notch. ?“
“Food was good, drinks were NOT it. However service could have been better. Our sever was pretty rude and made an error with my husbands order then had the audacity to role her eyes once we corrected her. We weren’t rude at all about it. It’s totally ok things happen. But don’t roll your eyes. You work in the service / restaurant industry. Then to top it off they automatically charge 18% tip to your bill. Again totally fine, but I think that’s why we were given poor service as they know they will make their money regardless. This place leaves much to be desired.“
“The food is pretty cool. I would have preferred wood cook meat but hey, so for the Rodizio there are many different cuts, including chicken and pork sausages. This time unfortunately I went on a Sunday and there was an older man, seemed Latino skinny dark skinned. Was very rude, but then there was this one guy by the name of Johnny who took care of us and gave us excellent service. Asked if we needed anything else and was very nice. Deer would ask for him next time. He made our dinner great.“
“One of the best steak experiences you’ll ever have. Alex/George takes such good care of you, as do all the other staff. The food is all impeccable and portion sizes are awesome for such a high end place. 212 Steakhouse is one of the only places in the NYC area who actually has A5 Wagyu (aka Kobe beef) from Japan. Would highly recommend!Vegetarian options: The mains are mostly steaks and meats. The sides are good quantities and mostly veg. They have some pasta and salad options.“
“Always good service here. Maybe because I come all the time. They have business lunch menu which is only $20 bucks. You get choice of ny strip or fish. Dinner is great. The steak is dry aged and thick. Great flavor and tender. Can't go wrong with this place.“
“This is the place! Early in covid they were the first ones to reopen and bring the neighborhood back, creating outdoor seating long before anybody put up those structures. Now they bring in polished and accomplished musicians who play wonderful classic blues and rock and roll. The staff couldn't be nicer, the vibe is wonderful, and the food is great; chef clearly goes out of his way to find good stuff to make the shepherd's pie and everything else. It's far better than everywhere else I've been. Thank you for keeping the faith.“
“We love it here. The entrees are delicious and the desserts were good too. There are lots of big groups and families dining usually there is a wait even with reservations so plan accordingly. We like to ask for our fries well done and then add extra salt too.“
