“We had drinks at the bar that were unique and tasty! I loved the refreshing limoncella drink that was made from prosecco and fresh lemon We had a party of six so there were many dishes ordered. All of them were delicious and housemade... the serving sizes were not overly generous for the price, but they were very flavorful and well presented. Our server was not overly attentive to our table... we rarely saw her... We ordered the calamari appetizer plate... it was lightly breaded and served with a light sweet sauce. Very good... the bread that was served to the table was excellent... the foccacia had a crisp outer crust and chewy interior... it was beautiful! We did have to pay for the bread... they don't give bread to each table, had to be ordered. A ravioli dish was ordered and was excellent... it did need some extra parmesan cheese to make it perfect... The shortrib rigatoni bolonese was served in a pasta bowl and had meaty flavor with a very nice sauce. It also needed a shredding of parmesan as did all the pasta dishes... we had to flag someone down to get this... The halibut was thick and flaky, served on a bed of cous cous and was fresh and cooked perfectly... The lamb chops were served with a green pesto sauce and came on a bed of cous cous as well with some raisins and carrots mixed in. Very tender and cooked perfectly to medium... Another table mate ordered the spaghetti and thought it was very good, generous portion and was completely satisfied The desserts we ordered were the house made doughnut holes with the dipping sauces, Creme Brule, and a cannoli... the cannoli was the winner of the desserts with a crisp shell, generous filling that was neither too sweet nor soggy... there were slivered almonds on one end and chocolate curls on the other with additional dollops of cannoli filling on the plate Yum,yum!!! This is a very good special occasion restaurant!“

“We are in Buffalo for a kids hockey tournament and wanted to order dinner to our hotel. The staff at Airport Pizza were so friendly and accommodating over the phone. When the delivery service (door dash) they use wouldn’t authorize our Canadian credit card they had a staff member who was there to cook and be in the restaurant-deliver all of our pizzas. The order was made quickly and every single pizza (we ordered 7) was absolutely delicious!!! The pizza sizes were very generous and they were LOADED with toppings. We had a few parents say it was the best pizza they’ve ever had. I would 100% recommend anyone to eat here and will most definitely be a repeat customer the next time we are in Buffalo.“

We started walking and by the grace of god found this amazing place! First of all the atmosphere is amazing. The staff was friendly. “Okay the food, the setting, the layout!!!! 10/10. Self service for food- using a QR code that is placed on tables for the servers to run the food out to you PIPING HOT! Seat yourself and water and napkins and plates and wet-wipes (you’ll need them) to share were all easily accessible with both entrances.Went with a couple of friends and we tried:Pretzel and queso app ($14)- STUNNING, queso was a perfect blend of Smokey and smooth and the pretzels came in rods (4) and were piping hot 10/10Wingnutz dip ($13)- I know this is what they are known for but I personally like my chicken wing dip, spicy. The chicken was tender though and came with a massive plate of fresh chips. 8.5/10Spring Rolls ($13)- YUM- fresh out of the fryer laying on top of a bed of kimchi (not too soured or prickly but the perfect complement) and a sweet Chile sauce. Really fresh and crisp 9.5/10Last Dragon Tacos ($18)- WOW- these were super flavorful and fresh even with the very generous meat portion. Sometimes it can be too overwhelming, but they nailed this one between the kimchi and pickled red onions giving the taco the bite it needs, to the very tender brisket, and the sauce that adds a kick! Dynamite! 10/10Roasted Cauliflower Taco ($15)- packs quite the punch in a mouthful- really tender cauliflower that soaked up all of the delicious sauce served with. 8.5/10Wingnutz Chicken Sandwich ($16) with their Cajun fries. Note for the fries- absolute perfection, LOVE a fry that is just about half an inch thick- gives a great crust and super fluffy inside. Their chicken sandwich was MASSIVE, genuinely think they used half a chicken on it, soaked in a hot honey brine- they have perfected a Nashville style fried chicken and DONT forget the pickles (thick cut)“

My co-worker got the Super Hero. This is the only reason I was hesitant to rate this a 5. There was way too much meat and the bread was barely there. Half of the meat was hanging out of the side. If they out half of the meat in, it would be very different. Overall, big portions and great bread. I would recommend this place to anyone in town.“

Has a downstate style menu with things like stromboli, penne alla vodka and garlic knotts. Definitely recommend if you like thin crust, foldable downstate style pizza. You will be disappointed if you prefer Buffalo style pizza with thicker crust, loads of cheese and cup and char pepperoni. However this place is a must try if you like thin crust NYC pizza.“

“What a great experience. Needed cannollis and lobster tails to go for a long ride back to Maryland. The filled the cannolis as we waited. She packed them and wrapped them for travel in a cooler at her suggestion. She cared enough to ensure they stayed fresh for when we got back home. You don't find that much anymore. The deserts were incredibly tasty and properly dry thanks to the attentiveness of their staff. You can't go wrong by eating here or getting it to go. “I visited Forno E Gelato on 3/8/2024 to check out what they had since we were early for our reservation at Frank Primo's next door. The gelato case was well stocked and there were several enticing items in the pastry case. As I asked whether they made Italian almond amaretti cookies, Rachel, the owner came in and we had a pleasant discussion about them, she looked them up on her phone on the spot, and forwarded to the pastry chef for consideration. I recounted my fond memories of visiting my sister in Brooklyn and enjoying almond amaretti, which often entailed extensive negotiations for the last one! Anyway, I purchased pistachio amaretti and Grandma whites cookies for later, and consumed salted caramel gelato (made by Forno E Gelato) at the end of dinner at Franki Primo's. The salted caramel gelato was excellent, with a nice ribbon of caramel through it. It's my favorite flavor, so I have a lot to compare it against. Forno E Gelato's salted caramel was in the top 3 best ones I've ever had (in competition with Siena in Snyder and a place in Italy)! The pistachio amaretti were also excellent with the perfect soft chew and great nutty flavor. Grandma whites cookies were good with a slight anise flavor, and just not a cookie I would normally gravitate to or rave over anyway. I'll definitely be back for the salted caramel gelato, the pistachio amaretti, and (hopefully) some almond amaretti!“
