“One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. Easily my favorite restaurant on Long Island. I am a chef and the guy at the table next to me was as well and we were both blown away. My kids (4 years old) loved everything, my mother (pescatarian) couldnt have loved her food more. The drinks were on point and the flavors were beyond compare. Their char sui bao were hands-down the best I have ever had.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian dim sum and a ton of dishes too. Absolutely fantastic vegetarian offerings!Kid-friendliness: My 4 year olds loved the place! The servers were great with them!“

“We arrived before 12:30 on a Saturday and was lucky to get a parking spot. But surprisingly after we parked more spots opened up. We ordered a papaya salad, beef noodle soup, duck noodle soup and chicken curry. The papaya salad was quite spicy.“

“This is our second time here. We thought about it all week and had to come back here. We don't always repeat restaurants because there are so many try, but we will definitely keep coming back. We got the crispy rice with tuna, the Hakkaido roll, the chase roll, and the passion roll (wow). This is by far one of our favorite restaurants. The staff are great too.“

“Nice mellow atmosphere, excellent polite service, had a hankering for so I stopped in and had shrimp Ramen. In a miso type broth, very flavorful, plenty of shrimp and surimi type stuff. Egg was just poached in the broth. They gave me a free appetizer of , I think, white fish tempura which was amazing, great sauce on it. Would go back again, probably would not get the ramen, though good, I have had better.“

“Stopped in for a quick takeout order on a weeknight, the staff were very attentive and provided great service.Food:- Kai burger: SO good!! Highly recommend. Really good flavor and ratio of meat and cheese and toppings. Best part of the meal.- onion rings: these were okay, but I think it was due to the delay in getting home and eating them. The sauce was good and and breading indicated they’d be good fresh. Could benefit from having more in the order.- soup dumplings: very tasty, still warm when I got home with them. Had a lot of meat packed in.Had a little mishap with the shrimp dumplings, but the staff was proactive and made the situation right. Food was out quick. Give this place a try if you’ve got a hankering for some comfort food.“

“Authentic Japanese grilled meats!! Very tasty with their different cuts and the meats come with juicy tenderness. The flame is what makes the extra grill taste to the meats! Desserts like the s'mores roasting over open flame is just so much fun with kids! Highly recommend this Japanese Grill! The service was superb with their staffs! Ambiance is great too with the seating arrangements.“

“Orienta is a high-end, luxury French-Asian fusion restaurant centrally located near Main Street, Greenwich. Ambiance is understated, with low light and tables a bit too close to each other, bordering on cramped. Diners are permitted to eat at the bar, which opens up more cuisine area but eviscerates any casual bar scene. We arrived early and tried to grab a drink at the bar. The proprietor shoed us away as there was no room at the bar for drinks (perhaps something the restaurant should rethink). He was not overtly rude – but he wasn’t particularly pleasant either. Surprised, we left for another bar and returned later for dinner.I’m glad we did. As part of a large group, we ordered a number of dishes and shared collectively. Everything was delicious (perhaps that’s why the proprietor felt comfortable encouraging us to leave for a drink). For appetizers, the baby back ribs were the star – rich pork falling off the bone. For main dishes, the spicy duck lo mein is a must.Although the food is exceptional, prices are sky high. For six people, the cost exceeded $900 with very modest beverage consumption. I’ll be back, but preferably on an expense account.“

“Perfect cute spot for a date night. The sushi rolls are really unique — loved the one with Brussels sprouts on top. The servers are all super helpful with answering questions and giving recommendations. They were also accommodating of my food allergy which I always appreciate. Highly recommend!“

“This restaurant used to be located more further down on westchester ave. It was called Monte de oro (gold mountain). I used to go there when I was a kid to a teenager. Then, it closed down. Thank god it relocated more up westchester ave. Under the name of el pabellon de oro (the flag of gold) It still had the same waiters & owner so I knew the food would be the same(delicious). It is a Chinese Spanish fusion. My go to dish is the steak w/ shrimp fried rice & plantano maduros(sweet plantains). Staff is ok. I like that the inside has a fish tank. It also has a lobster tank where you pick your own lobster. They had this in the old restaurant. The environment is just ok. I really came for the delicious food!!!“

“Vegetarian options: There were enough options for my vegetarian friend to choose from.Parking: The restaurant is an anchor to the Westchester Mall, which has plenty of parking that is now flat rate vs the hourly they used to charge.Kid-friendliness: There were kids throughout that appeared to be enjoying themselves.“

“We called in a massive take-out order and certainly will do so again! The poke bowls are big beautiful meals with lovely fresh ingredients & options between rices and greens as a base. Sashimi platter presented descent sized cuts of high quality. I've never been a fan of General Tso's Chicken, but their white meat version had me converted! Overall, very pleased.“

“Fresh, delicious food at very reasonable price, paired with great, friendly service --- what else can one ask for? Perhaps a variety of Asian food including quality sushi, poke bowls and ramen dishes? Yep - they have you covered in a clean dining room. Even the fish in the aquarium at the entrance are well-behaved and wish you a "bon apetit" when you enter! [Just kidding, but only about that last part]. Happy that we found this place, and will be back!“

“I’ve been to Hinoki in Greenwich now on three separate occasions - each time a great meal. Last night was no exception. We walked in on Sunday night with no reservation and while they were busy, they had no trouble seating us right away. It’s a nice dimly lit ambiance with a cedar smell throughout. We started off with miso soup and wanted to try something different so we went with the Asian Pear Salmon. While the miso soup was great, the Asian Pear Salmon had an overpowering onion flavor and was a bit disappointing, but the salmon was nice and fresh.Next we had a couple of the Nori tacos - Wagyu Salt and Toro. These were both excellent and I would recommend getting them.Next up we had 5 pieces of nigiri each. Tuna, Uni, some other pieces. They were all great, but I would say I’ve had better. The rice was inconsistent. The last piece that came out separately was perfect, and the rice was nice and warm. The others didn’t seem to match the same quality for some reason, but were still 8/10. Also I would not I’m not a fan of gold leaf on food in general, but especially in sushi. But I credit them for the effort. We were still hungry, so instead of dessert we opted for the soup dumplings which were great. For drinks, I had a wonderful glass of red burgundy from Beaune, and my wife had a mezcal cocktail she was still raving about the next day.Overall, this is a nice romantic restaurant for date night, or to take a group out for an impressive sushi dinner. It’s more casual than a limited seat Omakase experience, so set your expectations. You’ll be in for great food and ambiance, with pretty good service, but not out of this world.“

“We went for hibachi during lunch and it was nice because it wasn’t packed. Our only complaint about our experience here was that there was a hair in my partners dessert, and it clearly wasn’t his. Other than that the servers and chef were nice, and the hibachi itself was good.“

“The owner of iDiner moved about four stores away to Irma off of Main Street, and I'd have to say ambiance wise it's truly an upgrade. They have a beautiful dining patio outside and a humble interior. The bathroom is easy to get to and spacious. Everything is at grade level which is even better for handicapped people. I had a party of six and we sat outside. There was a good mix of shade and sun for those who didn't mind being a little cold or hot. The restaurant was able to accommodate us on Easter Sunday an hour earlier than they originally do open, so we would be guaranteed a place to eat. (Every other option was fully booked a week in advance!) The food was really good. We had a mix of beer and boba shakes for those of us who are sober. The kimchi pancakes were perfect and no shellfish to be frightful of in regards to allergies. We tried their popcorn chicken and one was a little sweet and spicy and the other was plain. We shared edamame. And everyone was happy with their dishes whether it be the vegetarian japchae, beef bulgogi, dolsot bibimbap with an egg, house salad, soup, chicken katsu, etc! Only one star removed because the veggies were still more raw than cooked in the dolsot bibimbap. I know we were a large group, but cooking it a little extra would have been preferred. Happy eats!“

“We usually don’t lost reviews, but what a great overall Asian fare. Consistent. Good food. Many options. Reliable, and the service is unmatched. Thomas always takes care of us — and we have a plethora of allergies and “special requests.” Really hard working people in a great atmosphere at reasonable prices. Great for people with celiac or gluten sensitivity.“

“I visted Tasty House on 9/30/23. I purchased a sesame chicken with brown rice combination plate as well as a pint of broccoli in garlic sauce! I also had chicken wings, which were plump and juicy. The food was delicious and their staff is always friendly, no matter how busy they might be.“

“As a New Yorker when someone suggests going out for Chinese you would normally assume, and rightfully so, that you'll end up ordering from a "hole in wall" fast food spot.Kai isn't that. It's a sit down place where you just enjoy your food in a peaceful atmosphere. The pricing was ok, but it was NYC so it was to be expected. The food however is worth the cost. Consider it something like take-out plus, Chinese food with a twist. And it is not just "Chinese" food, under the category of "Asian fusion" their menus are a little bit from the many color cultures of the East. Come for sushi, get some hot sake alongside it, with some wings and soup.It was a great place, relaxing, the music was tame and not in your face, and the staff seemed to have grown on us as time went by.Bring your family, or friends, or maybe just by yourself and have yourself some of that classic food we New York's associate as Asian.“

“Lin's might be my new local go-to for pan-Asian cuisine in North Bronx! My takeout order was ready for pick up within minutes, the staff was friendly, and everything was packaged perfectly. The inside was clean and spacious when I stepped in with a nice, casual atmosphere when I stepped in.As for the food, everything tasted fresh, delicious, and perfectly satisfying! I had the chicken fried rice, the spicy crunch salmon roll, the pepper tuna avocado roll, and the shrimp tempura roll. All of the rolls tasted great-- the best one being the pepper tuna for me-- and the preparation and quality really allowed the flavors to shine. However, my favorite item turned out to be the chicken fried rice. The chicken tasted just a bit caramelized for a savory, umami-rich dish that was not at all greasy. I would definitely come back just for this fried rice!Overall, Lin's was definitely worth it with the reasonable prices justifying the portion sizes and quality of the food!“

“us locals call it "gas station sushi" but don't let that name be a turn-off. it's located in the same location as a gas station, and a Red Mango ice cream shop. The sushi is always fresh, and delivery is super fast. And don't stop at just ordering sushi.... they will make any traditional Asian dish you like including the very best wonton soup I've ever had. You can't go wrong with Kiku sushi!“

“Food was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was pleasant. Very importantly, the ambience of the place was very welcoming. This is one of three sushi places within several feet from each other and I chose AKI due to its reviews and inviting atmosphere. Decor is beautiful yet simple.“

“Repeat | Repeat | Repeat...I am still thinking about the mouth watering flavor of the Chef's Special Ramen...the small hint of chile oil that just catches you every now and again made it that much better. We started with the edamame which was charred to perfection. And also had the panko shrimp bao buns which were almost too pretty to eat...almost. So happy I finally made it here and I am looking forward for to returning to try more things on the menu!“
