“Trying to pick a place for brunch I saw this place and was like this looks perfect! No wifi which is probably a good thing but not good for a child lol, he got over it. Our food was good. Service was good though she brought waffles out instead of pancakes for our boy, not a big deal except for our picky boy lol who was like yucky! Despite the fact he loves waffles at home, as long as they are ego waffles (lemme roll my eyes) they looked amazing here but our 5 year old did not care lol. He loved his pancakes once brought out :) such a cute place and I really wanna come back during the holidays.“

“This restaurant hit every single mark and was absolutely exceptional. We got the beet salad, French onion soup, and onion tart to start, followed by the duck and beef stew for dinner. For dessert we had a chocolate mousse and moscato. Every single bite of every dish we had was packed with flavor. The house wine was delicious. Our waiter was so helpful and recommended all of the dishes to us and we're so happy he did because we truly enjoyed the whole experience. Service, food, ambiance 10/10!! This was our first time here and might become one of our regular spots if it stays consistent! Go try it!!!!!“

“I love the croissants so when Cameron, our server, said they were running out I was sad, but she was able to find two and they were delicious. We were there for brunch and I had pancakes with strawberries and bananas and some chardonnay. My husband had escargot, Bloody Mary's (he said both were the best he has had in a while) and short rib Benedict. We had a great time despite the rain. The atmosphere is European and the music is good and not too loud.“

“As always, dinner was fabulous! Alex is a gem and recommended the sole which was amazing. Josepi and Michealangelo were both attentive but not intrusive. There's a reason this place has been around for so long. Highly recommended this place“

“All good things...must come to an end. I was a little saddened to find out the previous owners Jean-Luc and Lucette retired already. Our visits to this neighborhood gem are like going to friends' homes for dinner. We are going to really miss their smiles. It is their granddaughter Marie managing the place now. They should be very proud of how she carried on their legacy. On our recent visit, we had soup sampler (French onion soup, carrot soup, potato soup) and oysters as appetizers. All the soups were yummy good and the oysters very fresh. We had the quails and frogs legs as mains. They tasted great and good portions sizes too. My significant other especially liked the zucchini that came with the entrees. We took home our desserts (cheesecake and chocolate truffle cake) and opt for the special strawberry souffle. It is so gooood. The twilight menu also came with salad for less than $40. Specials are extra and our bill came out to around $120 before tax. It is well worth every penny. We also wanted to thank our lady server, too. She was attentive and friendly. Basically has a little "lucette" touch in her. Thank you !!“

“Stopped by midweek to have dinner with my husband. We both enjoyed the super thin crust pizza & shared it. Next we tryed their salads!!!! Super fresh ingredients. And then they had a fish special that was over-the-top delicious. Strong drinks just the way we like them and can't wait to go back.“

“The appetizer I ordered did not come to our table and I have to cancel the order. And I have to ask for the bread after 15 minutes sitting. Not sure if they are too busy or just because we are Asian. Otherwise the food is tasty and worth the price.“

“Birch Hill Meats recently opened a hidden gem of an experience for foodies... The Counter at Birch Hill Meats. Run by Americo who was the chef at Friarshead for 15 years on North Fork of Long Island, he has brought a secret spot that needs to be told to others. It's a way to try creative foods, buy prepared foods, or simply be inspired and buy high quality meat, seafood and vegetables to cook at home. They have four course meals, tastings, or you can order from what they have or ask for something new. Interesting creative experience. Rainy day my husband and I went in around 11am to buy some meat for dinner later and decided to give it a try. We got two seats at the counter and Americo explained how it works. Basically, we could do anything and at 11am a four course meal seemed too much. We, with his help, had a mushroom and oyster omelet with a side salad. We ordered a spiced apple cider which helped warm us up on this rainy cool Fall day. The feel of the environment is casual, relaxed , but the creativity makes you think you are in a high end restaurant...Could confuse some people, but worth a try because you can make it what you want. Just speak with Americo or his son Jason about what you want. My only recommendation is to use real plates, glasses, utensils and not disposable. The food seems very worthy of non-disposable utensils and ware. Unique experience and worth a try! I wish them great success! I'll go back!“
