“While I was there waiting for my takeout order, I watched a lesbian couple celebrate their relationship. Ant the staff at the restaurant was celebrating with them and it made a very happy atmosphere. The food is very good. I come from a place that has very authentic Mexican food ant when I tasted their taquitos. They taste very good and remind me of what I grew up with.

The last thing that I had the pleasure of trying was the Ackee and Saltfish. It tasted like HEAVEN. I'm very picky about that dish and I don't usually order that because everyone cannot make it. “We started off with potstickers and lobster chowder. The lobster chowder was warm not hot. Didn't really care for it enough to ask for it to be hotter. I would not have even known it was a lobster soup if it wasn't called that. The potstickers were great as was the little gingery salad/slaw that comes underneath them. I really enjoyed the bistro steak cooked medium rare with chimichurri sauce. The sauce was herbaceous with a lot of garlic flavor, which I am a garlic fan. Everyone else had filet mignon which was good, nothing special though. The mashed potatoes were all barely warm but tasted fine. Wine was fairly priced. Our waiter was very good.“

“We had a wonderful meal and experience at Galleria of Merrick! The spicy rigatoni is a MUST! The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and every bite was a flavor explosion. I love that they put a unique twist on traditional Italian dishes and you can really taste the difference of the quality, care and detail that went into each dish. They truly cook with love. However, one downside was the use of plastic cutlery, cups, and plates. It detracted from the overall dining experience and seemed excessive, especially when enjoying such fresh seafood. Switching to more sustainable or reusable options would greatly enhance the experience. Overall, great food and views, but the plasticware left room for improvement.“
