Despite its intriguing concept, this cocktail fell short of expectations. Devoid of its quintessential bourbon essence and overwhelmed by excessive sweetness, it failed to capture the timeless allure of an Old Fashioned. The bartender attributed the sweetness to an "illusion in my brain," which perplexed me. It was a disappointing choice that left me nursing a hangover the next day.Despite this minor setback, the staff remained attentive and courteous throughout our visit, contributing to the overall warmth of the experience. “I had a reservation for 5 people on a Monday evening in early November, and when we got there found out that the restaurant was going to close that day but opened up just to serve us rather than cancel. I was a little skeptical that the owner could be host, wait staff, bus staff, and cook and still get us in and out of there in a reasonable amount of time, but boy were we all impressed! The dinner went off without a hitch, we had wonderful food served up in a timely fashion, some complimentary hot apple cider on the cold evening and even some free desserts to taste in honor of the birthday of one of our party! Fantastic customer service under trying conditions, which we really appreciated, and everyone swore to come back another time! Based on the prices you might expect an upscale environment, but while it was comfortable it was pretty bare-bones inside.“
“We came for the Mets viewing party. Walking in to this place I wasn't so sure what to expect, but once I entered I really liked the vibe. Our bar tender was super sweet and attentive, the food we got was fresh and delicious, and the drinks ice cold. I wish we had come on a nicer day and gotten to utilize the outdoor area, but there's always next time.“
“One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The menu has a large variety to order from. Food is always good. Service is excellent. Nice ambiance. Usually on Friday nights there's a performer. They also have a photographer there now that takes picture. Parking available. On Friday nights after 7:30/8pm there's usually always seats available without reservation.“
“Went here last weekend to have lunch with our daughter who goes to St. Johns. Parked right on the corner (Metered ) no parking lot for those wanting to know. Mostly college crowd. Service was quick and good. Photos from others are the same as ours so i won't post. We would definitely go back again.“
“This restaurant is the greatest. The owner and he husband are extremely nice and their food is excellent. Our 2 year old always enjoys the food herself. They have an extensive menu and the dishes are made fresh after you order. The appetizers such as the baby octopus and shrimp wrapped in bacon are on another level. The picaña is also amazing. Most people who are there are regulars. Very relaxing atmosphere as well.“

“Love it here! My husband and I have been twice since discovering it a month ago. The food is really good. We’ve tried the curry goat, curry chicken, jerk chicken, and stew chicken so far. My favorite dish has to be the jerk chicken plantain cups. We also tried the culture clash and the rum punch which were both great drinks.The owner (Mo) is awesome, he’s such a friendly guy and we were engaged in conversation with him the whole time we were there on our first visit. He has great experiences to share if you have the time.“
“I just recently hosted a retirement party here for my parents, and it truly could not have been a better experience. From first contact to the day of the event, Matt was so responsive and receptive to my requests. It was a seamless and stress free planning process, which made planning a surprise party so much easier. We did cocktail style passed appetizers, which were all delicious and plentiful for our about 60 person party! The wait and bar staff was so kind and helpful as well!! Everyone had a fantastic time and my parents had a retirement party to remember! Additional bonus was how convincing the host was about bringing us to our table (grabbing 6 menus and then going to check that our table was ready), my parents were clueless that there was a party for them until the second the doors opened!“
