“This is my second time eating at Southern Kitchen and bar with my partner, our grandson, and his father.  It's a very nice place, a great atmosphere  spacious, clean, friendly, diverse, and family oriented. There's outdoor dining and free parking. The staff was very tentative, and our servers, Lauren and Kyle, were awesome. They menu gave you plenty of ordering options.  It was hard to decide what I wanted to eat, especially when I saw other people's orders passing me buy.  I didn't wait too long for the food.  When the food arrived, it was served steaming hot and tasty. If you dont want to sit and eat a meal, you can sit at the full bar and have a cold beverage.  I recommend you give this place a visit. “Had my nieces Bat mitzvah here. The food was outrageous, the service was fantastic. Only negative, they kept clearing the plates away so fast. Some people lost their plates as they were eating. My niece got her plate taken away and never even got to eat. There was so much left over food and I don't know what happened to it all. I hope it went to a good place.“

Rhoda was so helpful with placing our order and letting us know what would work best and her son who delivered everything was so friendly! “We absolutely love Jean-Jacques Culinary Creations in Pleasantville! We try to stop in at least once a week even though it is not near our home. Cris, Lauren and Jack are so very sweet and always welcoming. The food at the grill is delicious and meticulously prepared by Wilder. The environment is warm and inviting but it is truly the caring team and quality of the food that make this place so special. It feels as if everything is prepared and presented with such care and never has anything we've tried been less than excellent. The bakery selection is outstanding. Not only does everything look like a work of art but it is delicious. In my opinion, it is rare to find that combination. Whoever is working behind the scenes there is definitely a talented culinary trained chef and baker.“

“Good bowls with a lot of options for bases, not just açaí. Quick delivery of items after order. A lot of seating options outdoor and limited indoor, two bathrooms.The bowls are delicious and the ingredients taste fresh. My only thing is that like all bowl places, the bowls are overstuffed so it's always messy to start eating it.“

Dad is a Marine living at The VA Nursing Home at Montrose and this is his favorite place because they always treat him well and the food is delicious. Authentic Revolutionary War Era Inn setting with phenomenal dinner menu for Thanksgiving. 4 of us came here for Thanksgiving- my wife, me and her parents, we all got something different and this place did not disappoint on anything. The chateubriand filet mignon and New Zealand rack of lamb were on point in every way. The side vegetables- the sweet potatoes, the stuffing, the arugula, the green beans, and the carrots were all perfectly cooked to an optimome composition and coloring. The popovers were a nice throwback a little dry but the strawberry butter more than made up for them. The dessert the Belgian chocolate mousse was impeccable. The overall ambiance and atmosphere of this place was very Yankee in a great way, it reminded me of Olde New England Inns and Taverns. Pricing wise it was not the most economical menu but doing Thanksgiving at home with guests wouldn’t have been cheaper. I definitely recommend anyone slightly interested in a place like this come here as they will fully enjoy. We did not reside here but if their hotel accommodations are on par with their dining accommodations, you will get what you pay for and then some.“

“My wife and I visited this spring before it opened. They were painting inside, but Sarah, the manager, invited us in and gave us a tour of this beautiful historic building. In the five or six times we've dined there since, Sarah greets us with a hug like old friends and fits us in no matter the hour or crowd. “Went there and brought some friends to see my friends The Riskos and their band .Nice venue, a little crowded and need to work on sound. I had to tell the band we couldn't hear either singer until the second set when it was adjusted . Went for the Sunday lunch buffet and it is a very simple quiet place but the food makes up for any need of ambiance! Hence no photos because the food didn't last a minute on the plate. There was only one man working who I also believe is the owner, and he was extremely kind and friendly and made it a point to ask how the food was and even shared a carrot recipe! We were thrilled to find that beyond their thriving pizza counter, Amici's has an elegant dining room with delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts. A hidden gem.Vegetarian options: Didn't see anything vegan; the meat-free eggplant parmesan was tasty, with eggplant, cheese, and sauce on my choice of pasta (I chose fettuccine). Came with a nice salad.Wheelchair accessibility: From the car in the parking lot to being seated at the table, a rolling walker had no difficulty, and was nicely tucked aside as we ate. Smooth ramps and wide enough walkways.“
