“Had chef’s fried chicken, fried rice and cabbage all of which were tasty, precise in seasoning and dining in for lunch was relaxing to jams. They had their own homemade juices. Pineapple ginger lime was deliciously smooth, not overtly sweet, just right. The spread available was well presented and looked tasty. Can’t wait to return.“

“Glad we found this place while searching for a lunch spot in Harlem. The service was super warm and friendly (¡gracias, Pablo!), and we can highly recommend the Lomo Saltado and the Arroz Chaufa Mariscos, which were both delicious. I've already bookmarked this place and will definitely be back to try some of the other things on the menu.“

“Nocciola is such a great restaurant! We live in the neighborhood and we never thought we would find this gem in the area. The food never disappoints and the servers and manager are always very attentive and accommodating. My bf and I choose a different plate when we go and have worked our way through the entire menu. Seriously, do yourself a favor and go so you can enjoy this family owned restaurant and see exactly why they have been around for a decade. You will not be disappointed. It’s our favorite date night local spot.“

“Service was great Both the pastas were pretty good. The chicken dish was great too however the side order of pasta was very bland and cold. They just added tomato sauce on top. Also got mussels for appetizer and it was great. Definitely recommend.“

“Stopped in for a quick takeout order on a weeknight, the staff were very attentive and provided great service.Food:- Kai burger: SO good!! Highly recommend. Really good flavor and ratio of meat and cheese and toppings. Best part of the meal.- onion rings: these were okay, but I think it was due to the delay in getting home and eating them. The sauce was good and and breading indicated they’d be good fresh. Could benefit from having more in the order.- soup dumplings: very tasty, still warm when I got home with them. Had a lot of meat packed in.Had a little mishap with the shrimp dumplings, but the staff was proactive and made the situation right. Food was out quick. Give this place a try if you’ve got a hankering for some comfort food.“

“I've been coming here wooo for a good amount of years, I am from Queens and when I want authentic Italian food I come here why multiple reasons one of them it's their food. I am always trying something new and they never seem to disappoint me! It's crazy I live in Queens and come this far to have a slice, lasagna or anything different today I went in and had a Philly cheese steak, it was delicious but not like the Philly cheese steak sandwiches from Philly lol. But over all I'll have it again it was delicious hands down.If you're in town, check them out right off the the LIR North Station Plaza in Great Neck. It's better than Gino's thats for sure!!!Kid-friendliness: It's very family oriented“

“Amazing old school place that helped earn NYC the reputation for great classic Italian food. Stick to the red sauce classics and you’ll surely enjoy. My wife got the Carbonara that was beautifully made and she really enjoyed. The portions were large enough for lunch leftovers the next day.“

“It’s Chipotle prices for food that’s flavor and quantity wise- at least $5 more.F- any other bowl place. Why, when this spot exists ? The bespoke options are exceptional. The quality is superior. The quantity is robust. If you need flavor in your life, skip the Karen spots. Life is too short for bland food. Especially when we are all an AC unit away from falling on our heads and sending us to Elysium. Don’t walk here, run.“

“Old school Italian with large servings of excellent food. It is in a somewhat sad looking strip mall with not much curb appeal. But don't let that throw you off. The interior is nice and the staff friendly.Be aware the place looks like it's been there forever -- the word is out with locals and regulars so it can get crowded at peak hours.“

“The restaurant was hopping on a Saturday night. It was obvious why-our food was great and our server was very pleasant and fun. The only drawback was the noise level which was quite loud and difficult to hear the people at our table. Perhaps this was because the restaurant was so full of happy energetic diners. Some kind of acoustic mechanism to absorb the noise would be a great addition!“

“Food 10/10Crazy that their omakase set for takeout is only 60 dollars and the fish is flown in from Totsuya fish market. Incredibly generous servings and the quality of the fish is superb. I was in actual shock when I took the first bite. The rice is alright, but the star of the show is always the fish so it doesn’t really matter. So impressed by their supreme sushi and sashimi set. Better than some omakase spots in manhattan. So delicious and so close to home too I can’t wait to return.“

“My limited knowledge of Ghanaian cuisine did not hinder my appreciation of the fantastic flavors on offer at Tasty Budz. The Jollof and Chicken caught my attention right away and did not disappoint! This is no simple rice dish; it is heavily flavored and cannot be easily dismissed as a side dish! The chicken was also packed with flavor, perfectly tender, and complemented the rice wonderfully. The "Morning Dew" smoothie was another treat. I don't recall all its ingredients, but the blend of almonds and banana created a creamy, indulgent treat that balanced the spice of the Jollof beautifully.Tasty Budz is a must-visit, especially if you've never experienced Ghana's culinary landscape! Can't wait to try more.“

“The service was outstanding, and the food surpassed expectations. The bathroom had inclusive signage with symbols representing all people. Although there was a parking lot, it was quite crowded and challenging to find a spot. The ambiance inside is a bit loud. However, for birthdays, they sing "Happy Birthday" and blow bubbles, creating a delightful atmosphere.“

“Ban Ban Shop is a very cute fusion restaurant that opened across from Columbia University that serves a banh mi, baos, rice bowls, maki rolls, and grain bowls. 3.5 stars: I was very excited to try the banh mi here, but was lowkey disappointed. I ordered the Five Spice Roasted Pork Banh Mi. Don't get me wrong, the pork is very well seasoned/marinated and tender. Unfortunately, the baguette here is too soft, and the oil from the pork does seep through. The key to a good banh mi is the baguette - light on the inside with a thin and crispy crust. You'll know the baguette is good when the roof of your mouth gets destroyed by the time you finish it.“

“Food was great; was pretty spacious inside; we would come back again. The two of us got a regular slice, a supreme slice (which has pepperoni, red onion, green peppers, and sausage), a Greek salad, 8 wings, and a carrot cake, plus a canned Coke Zero. We ate it all towards the back of the restaurant which had a decent amount of tables. Christmas decor was up which made it feel festive. The regular slice and supreme slice came out hot with good flavor, crust was more on the chewy side which I don’t mind. The supreme slice had an almost smoky flavor, which I enjoyed. The Greek salad was your standard Greek salad with olives and feta cheese, along with tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onion, in some mixed greens; overall good.We really enjoyed the wings. We asked for it plain and it came out with this thin crispy batter that we didn’t expect, but it had a nice light crunchy bite. The meat was juicy, though there were only 3 small flats, the rest were pretty big drumettes. Nevertheless, would definitely recommend the wings. The carrot cake was decent; cake was still moist though I wished the frosting was more sour like a cream cheese frosting.Along with the canned coke, the total was around 35 USD which to me wasn’t bad; the two of us were full by the end.Overall we really enjoyed our meal here and would come again.“
“I came down with an unspecified viral illness earlier this year which knocked me out for a solid week, and all I could muster the energy and appetite for was soup. I've had some great chicken soup uptown before (Salento in Washington Heights is amazing), but now that I've moved to the UWS, I was adrift once again. Some googling and yelping steered me toward Murray's Sturgeon Shop, so one day, I wrested myself from my sickbed and walked down to pick myself up some soup. The store is somewhat intimidating, as nothing is really laid out and you have to order everything over the counter, but I was able to convey my order pretty easily, and not long after, I had a frozen quart of chicken noodle soup in my possession. I guess they only sell their soups frozen, but they assured me it is frozen at peak freshness. It was $15 for the frozen quart, which felt kinda steep, but I justified it, because it could last multiple meals. I came out and let my frozen block defrost for a bit before I melted it on the stovetop. It took a while for the ice crystals to melt away, but soon enough, the warm and umami aroma of chicken soup began to emanate from my pot and penetrate my stuffed up olfactories. My frozen block made two portion of delicious soup, stuffed full of shredded chicken, carrots, and curly egg noodles. The best word I can use to describe the flavor of this soup is incredible DEPTH. Soup is not a good I often rave over, but this one is particularly good and flavorful. It cured me, just a little. Highly recommend when you're ill and craving your mother's cooking/comfort, but you're actually a grown adult who thousands of miles away from your childhood home so you just have to shell out $15 for someone else's grandma to make soup and sell you a frozen block of it. I haven't tried their fish, but based on the other reviews, I'm curious about it! Nothing in the store looked particularly nice or clean (it just looked a little musty as old delis often do), and like I mentioned, the counter is somewhat intimidating, but Murray's has the vibe of an old time establishment that knows what they're doing and does it well.“

“What a pleasant surprise. Used to live in Yonkers and visited last night and was Google a new place to try. Came upon Mason sandwich and intended on going there. Ironically I didn’t pay attention when park and went into the Prince. Saw the menu, looked just as good and settled on the Chicken Shwarma bowl. What a great bowl! Gave my taste buds a treat and the portion was good for the price. Will definitely stop again on a future ride home.“

“There is no shortage of pizza joints in Harrison and there are 4 within a 5 block radius by my count. NY Pizza Station gets its name from being next to the Harrison Metro-North Railroad station that you can grab a slice or a pie as soon as you get off your commuter train. This used to be the location of Pizza 2000 years ago, but when P2K moved to a new, larger space across the street, one of their old employees decided to open Pizza Station on his own. The menu and formula did not change much from the P2K days. You stick with what works and what your customers like. Being just a short walk from our office, we would come regularly for Pizza Fridays and also order whole pies for special occasions and rainy days. We were such regular customers, that we were once captured by the Google Streetview camera car while walking back on Pizza Friday (our faces were blurred out). The pizza is pure NY Neapolitan style. We like to order fresh pies for delivery or to pick up. They come in 3 sizes, small (14"), large (16") & X-large (18"). The 18" pie barely fits in the box and sometimes the edge has to be folded a little to close the box. They also cut the XL into 10 slices which is unusual in itself. We also love the individual specialty slices like the Chicken Bacon Ranch, Penne ala Vodka and Chicken Bruschetta, which can also be ordered as whole pies. You can't go wrong with a traditional cheese pie, too, but my favorite topping has to be sausage with mushrooms a close second. Why not both? I have yet to try the heroes or pastas, but they do look good. There might be a veal parmagiana hero scheduled for Pizza Friday this week!“

“What a pleasant surprise to find this place in Port Washington. The restaurant is very classy. Great ambiance. Staff is super professional and courteous, and the food did not disappoint. Ordered the lobster a la carte, and the 3 course prix fix dinner which is a great deal for $39. The lobster was perfect. I ordered the branzino, mildly seasoned but extremely tasty with rice and spinach. I also had a glass of Pinot. very smooth. This location seems to have a second floor balcony for private parties. We will most likely be coming back. It's is so worth it for a day trip.“

“I have been really impressed with the quality and service at this chopped salad provider. The first thing you will notice is how clean the food prep areas are, even during the lunch rush. I have gone with the suggested combos, the Cobb Chop, the Avocago, the Mexicana, the Chopped Asian, and the Chimichurri Steak. Most feature chicken, the Falafel-Osophy is their vegetarian offering and it is one of the best. The only one I might not care to repeat is the Chimichurri Steak, the flavor was great, the beef was a bit chewy. If you like spicy they have options. The portion size is good, and worth the price. I am starting to recognize the staff, which to me is a good thing, suggesting less turnover than a lot of places. There's a frequent flyer program that will get you a free salad after about 8-10 orders. There are four or five tables for four, and a counter with hightop chairs for solo diners. I wish they had a two top, as I do not care to sit so high, and I usually take a table. Most customers takeaway, so there is usually plenty of space, even when the place is humming. Recommended.“

“This is the sister restaurant to Cafe Alaia, just up the street. Vincenzo Alaia keep a close watch on both venues and sees to it that they adhere to the same high standards. The food here is superb (there's a new chef from Italy who is even better than his predecessor) and though the wait staff (in the absence of the wonderful Cesar) is a bit green and easily overwhelmed, it's still a very satisfying place to spend an evening. Great food, a little overpriced, in a warm and inviting atmosphere.“
