“This cute and cozy wine bar has been opened for quite a while and I just decided to stop by a few weeks ago. I paired shrimp pizza with a glass of sauvignon blanc and it did not disappoint. The staff are very friendly and you'll always run into some neighborhood locals. Definitely a New Rochelle staple and you should stop by if you can. It's great for a low key date night for a cool vibe.“
“This place is fantastic! We stumbled upon it on a Tuesday night when we were in town. The food is outstanding; and huge portions. The service is wonderful. My husband left the table and instantly a server came by to fold his napkin and place it on the table. The interior is cozy and comfortable. Make sure you have a reservation on the weekends. We went back again last night (Saturday) and the place was packed. The service was again outstanding even though they were so busy. Highly recommend!“

“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. This was our second time here and it has quickly become one of our goto places in Astoria. From the greeting at the door to the selection of great wine and cocktails- all unique because the are craft brews- to the staff answering our many questions about the very different and delicious menu to the quality of the food- an awesome experience. Last week we were there and enjoyed live jazz and the musicians mingled and talked with us. The decor is very comfortable. Looking forward to attending the special event nights, too. “I brought my daughter for dinner this past Thursday night. I didn't know there was live music. I was a little worried at first that my daughter would find the music too loud but she loved it! The honey truffle Brussel sprouts were so delicious. I can't wait to go back and have it again. We also had the risotto funghi and banana bread pudding....both also very tasty. I also tried the happy jalapeño drink...so delicious and not sweet. Overall a wonderful night out!“

First, they accommodated us quickly and made us feel welcome despite the fact that we arrived a little over 15 minutes late for our reservation; we were expecting to wait but they seated us right away. The atmosphere is soooo pretty with greenery and fun music playing.Now the food: My husband ordered a cocktail and I ordered wine and both came out promptly & were generous in size. While we waited for our food, we looked at the meals that were coming out of the kitchen and everything looked delicious! The serving sizes are VERY generous. My husband ordered the chicken parm vodka special and I ordered the ravioli and meatball. We easily could have split the chicken parm to share. It was easily one of our favorite meal experiences, as everything was made to perfection. For dessert we ordered the cheesecakes.. I have high expectations for cheesecake and theirs did not disappoint. We both left feeling stuffed but in the best way. No notes. 12/10.“

Hastings is a 15 minute drive from the city but makes you feel like you're a whole world away. Boro6 is within walking distance of several unique small businesses including a vinyl shop and boutiques. Everything is centrally located on Warburton ave or on Main Street where you can find plentiful parking. The area is a hidden gem and makes you feel like you're actually in a small town as opposed to minutes from NYC. It's perfect for scenic views of the Hudson, an afternoon stroll, then dinner and a glass of wine at Boro6.Now more about the wine bar... it is so nice to see the attention to detail and how much they genuinely care about the dining experience. Everything is hand crafted. The menu has so many options and they add new items often with well thought out pairings making each visit unique. The food is always delicious.THE WINE! In the last year or so they have released their own house blend which we were very excited to try. Needless to say it did not disappoint. The restaurant is spacious yet still gives the cozy vibes you desire from a wine bar. The staff is so nice, its evident that the owner really cares as you can tell a lot by the way the staff interacts not just with clients but with each other. When I come back I promise to add pictures to my review but after having yet another wonderful experience here I just needed to take a moment out and give them the kudos they deserve. They treated us to tiramisu because we went the day of the snowstorm and they had some left over that wouldn't have been fresh the next day. It was superb. Add the rum float and suddenly the rhubarb is gone and all you taste is juicy strawberry goodness. Both ways were great, but the rum float really was incredible. It sounded bizarre to me at first, but Vintage knows their frose: trust them.“

The food here is superb (there's a new chef from Italy who is even better than his predecessor) and though the wait staff (in the absence of the wonderful Cesar) is a bit green and easily overwhelmed, it's still a very satisfying place to spend an evening. The minute we pulled up, the valet greeted us and took our car..very nice touch considering the restaurant is in the middle of a residential area, so street parking may have taken us sine time to find. This is the perfect venue for a small reception, baby shower, birthday or any other gathering that can accommodate 75+ people.As beautiful as the venue is, I'm sad to report the catered buffet food was not pleasant. Everything was bland and did not please our palettes. The cocktail hour with the hors deuvers was great! We would've been happy if they fed us those all night, they were very tasty bites. I would visit again but to sit in the main dining room and eat from the restaurant menu because the food has to be better than what we were served.All in all everything was great, just not the catered entree dishes.“
