“Amazing place in the heart of NYC. I went during happy hour on Friday and tried some of the best frozen margaritas. For our main course we got the Chiz Burger and some actually hot wings, with baby guacamole and nachos on the side.
I had a really tough judge with me, my grandma. Originally from Cancun, she grew up with traditional Mexican food, and todays experience reminded her of her early years. Between the Central American vibe and the staff, who were always smiling and quick to serve, she felt like she was back in Mexico again.
Thank you guys for that experience. I’ll definitely recommend this place to all my friends, you deserve it. ❤️🫶“

Oso has consistently great food and service
We’ve never been disappointed in any dish!
Our faves are the chips and guac, burrito, and of course the tacos.
This is real Mexican, not the Tex-Mex most Americans are used to: Clean, fresh, flavorful, and healthy
The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and professional
Never been there for dinner, only brunch, simply because we usually cook dinner at home
But I have no doubt that the dinner menu is at least as good as brunch

“It was a surprise to find this little restaurant in Harlem. There were no tables, and we took the last two seats at the bar. While we waited, I surprisingly felt at home. The aroma of the food, the care with which Karina prepared each of the dishes, and the kindness and joy they served us. By the time our table was ready, we didn't want to take it anymore; we ate much more than we planned to order because we didn't want to miss out on their delicious food. I have dietary restrictions, and I was surprised to see that everything from the exquisite tortillas to the delicious tres leches dessert was prepared right there, gluten-free and preservative-free. “Went on a Saturday night with a friend and had such a good experience. We ordered the ceviche and another fish appetizer marinated in black pepper, both super fresh and flavorful. They have a great wine selection and the staff was really attentive without being overbearing. I had the steak tacos and my friend got the branzino entrée. Didn't grab photos, but everything was solid. Definitely not your cheap Mexican spot, but absolutely worth the price. We'd go back for sure.“

After looking at many places on Columbus that just didn’t thrill us, we were SO happy to find the incredibly delicious Mexican cuisine at Nina’s last night I had the Cochinita Pibil (with an orange habanero salsa on the side that will let you know who’s boss…) and my old friend had Enchiladas Mole with chicken. Excellent and authentic food with warm, friendly staff, and a great bar selection with many tequilas. Nina’s is great! Reasonable too! Glad to give credit where it’s due to this 7mo old establishment that I hope stays for many years! Will return for more!“

“This spot is so much better than the original in Greenpoint. There was no line when we went on a Thursday evening for dinner and we ordered right away. Our tacos were ready in about 3 minutes. They serve all different body parts of the pig. We were less adventurous and stuck with the classics- cheek, butt, belly, fried belly and tongue. The tongue was the standout, followed closely by the fried belly but I would 100% order any of those again. The tacos were perfect. There was plenty of seating so we were able to enjoy our tacos (and a little sink to wash your hands!!), and the service was so warm and efficient. 10/10 experience in every way.“

We took forever trying to find a place that they would all find something to eat at but that place didn't work out so we came here not realizing how lucky we were. After having a quick glance at the menu I realized two of my children would probably not eat anything. Two of the ladies that work there helped us work it out to piece together a meal for them with components they already have. It took quite a while figuring everything out but they were patient and helpful. The food was outstanding and the cocktails and mocktails were phenomenal. I wish I lived closer because this would be a regular place for me. Highly recommend!“

There was a bit of a delay between ordering time and when we actually received our meal, but nothing that was outrageously long. Our server was pleasant. I would dine again but this would not be on my list of top choices in Tribeca.“
