“I stopped by for drinks around 7pm on a Saturday with some friends. Thankfully there was a table available and we were seated right away. Bosco's has an extensive drink menu, and happy hour if you go during certain times on weekdays. The drinks were average NY prices, and were very good. I got the Sam Said So, while my friend got a Negroni. Both were very good! The service was great, and the decor was fun.“

“Before I even lived in the neighborhood Jajaja was easily one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. I have brought so many friends here because it is perfect from anywhere to a date night to a chill lunch/dinner to catch up with friends. Their cocktails are amazing especially their version of an espresso martini. All of the staff is so friendly and always make sure you're taken care of at all times. On top of everything and most importantly the food is AMAZING. Although I am not vegan anymore, I still can call this my favorite restaurant because they do everything on their menu so well and it's rare in my experience where vegan food is indistinguishable from non-plant based food and my favorite is the enchiladas mole. “Came in on Good Friday around 6:00 for dinner and sat at the bar. We were warmly welcomed and ordered house margaritas, which were perfectly balanced. We also ordered a mezcal flight. The bartender, Eric, was flexible with the choices in the flight. We ordered from the happy hour menu and had guacamole, beef tacos, and beef nachos, which were thankfully not served as a pile of chips. Each chip was layered with the most tender, flavorful beef, a beautiful pickled jalapeno, tomato, and cheese, with a serving of guacamole adorning the center of the plate. The beef tacos were well seasoned and tender, and the salsa verde was fresh and crisp. The best part of our evening was the hospitality. Eric was personable, informative, and attentive. He educated us about the different mezcals and tequilas and gave us some tips and tricks for navigating the city. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit again.“

Both meals were delicious, but I'd say the chicken was the best chicken I've had in years, hands down. Juicy with crispy skin and delicious sauce. The service was slow (took 40+ minutes to receive our food after ordering), but that's probably because we didn't get drinks or apps. Both looked great, but not for us. “I went to this place in Nolita because I heard a lot about their Corn Y Cubano and it didn't disappoint. The corn is grilled right in front of you with all the toppings you could want, making it a great lunch for a sunny day. I also tried their steak sandwich and found it really tasty, though the fries were a bit soggy for my liking. The restaurant is pretty busy, but the service is fast and the staff are nice. It's a good spot for a quick bite if you're in the area and don't mind waiting a bit.“

The chips and guacamole and the salsas are standout-good. Last time we ordered the wings, a salad, and a shrimp dish and they were all excellent. In the past there was a skirt steak quesadilla-like thing that was one of the best things I've ever eaten - I wish they'd bring it back. Their salsa macha is excellent. Veggies and salads are often a highlight. Also, nearly everything is gluten-free. I have celiac disease and it is so nice to go somewhere where pretty much everything on the menu is safe for me to eat!On top of that, the ambience is lovely. It's a really pretty space and just pleasant to be in. I'd probably come here just for the ambience even if the food was mediocre. The staff are also lovely. Now, to the food because if you are going to drink, well, you will eat. The best thing to order when sharing is the Plato Don. If I am stopping in for a drink, I have the Guacamole. The only thing that I am not a fan of is the greasy tortillas. When the place is busy, the service is average, you get your food quickly, and you have to wait a bit before your waiter checks in to see how things are going.“

Burrito are a staple for my lunch/dinner... so fresh and comforting. AND I'm not really a fan of most Mexican food but this is on a whole other level. I just finished a salad of shrimp, avocado, mango, cherry tomato, with paper thin fennel shredded on top. The shrimp are cooked to perfection, not rubbery at all but ever so slightly firm and succulent. The tacos are packed with well seasoned meat, the crispy fish was nicely dressed with slaw and sauce, the salsa are delicious and pack a nice little punch. The tostada was crispy with a flavorful avocado topping and the quesadilla just barely visible under the mountain of Al pastor. My michelada was nice but I'd give the agave wine margs a pass if you're a marg purist. Juan Carlos took great care of us. On hand just when we needed with what we needed, friendly, and left us plenty of time to chow and digest before sending us on our merry way. We really enjoyed the little cabana - it's nice when the COVID inspired street cabana matches the good vibes indoors so even the dog can enjoy the night out.“

We took forever trying to find a place that they would all find something to eat at but that place didn't work out so we came here not realizing how lucky we were. After having a quick glance at the menu I realized two of my children would probably not eat anything. Two of the ladies that work there helped us work it out to piece together a meal for them with components they already have. It took quite a while figuring everything out but they were patient and helpful. The food was outstanding and the cocktails and mocktails were phenomenal. “I don’t ever write reviews, but this restaurant has never disappointed me and deserves so much love! Honestly not sure why the ratings aren’t higher. So far I have only ordered tacos, but they were so good that I have done so multiple times-and I’m quite a taco obsessed fiend so that’s saying a lot :).In a taco, when there are so few ingredients and toppings beside cilantro and onion to distract you, the quality of the protein really matters. And here, every single protein has been succulent, tender and delicious. I don’t crave guacamole or sauces like I typically do when I’m given bland and chewy meat at other places, these are that good as is. BUT the red and green sauces are necessary to just amp everything up to 11, they have so much complex flavor that I could drink them like soup lol. And usually restaurants disappoint me by giving me red sauces that are barely spicy or even TOO spicy and lacking flavor aside from that; you will not have that problem here! Your nose and eyes may water if you’re weak like me but in my opinion these sauces are the perfect middle between plain savory and super spicy.There’s also such an abundance of meat in each taco that just two are enough for a whole meal!! Doesn’t mean I won’t make myself sick eating 3 more tacos than I should though ;). The cherry on top is that the ladies working here are always so sweet and pleasant, and the interior is so welcoming, bright, and homely.
