“Bivona’s at Tasty’s was the first Italian meal we have relished since returning from a trip to Italy last summer. Tonight’s dinner was intimate, delicious and made with a love that few chefs can convey. The eggplant was perfect, the squash/ eggplant lasagna was incredible, filled with such flavor ! The freshest spinach salad using cubes of roasted squash, sliced apple and so much more. We will be back! Bivona’s is very special. Come one, Come all! Be greeted by Sam, the owner of Tasty’s. He completes the perfect team. Thank you for your care and attention and a darn good lemon drop martini. ❤️🤍💚”

Stopped off there for breakfast on our way to Cooperstown with 2 Buddies and when Shakira was bringing our drinks, my one Buddy stretched and knocked over the drinks that Shakira was carrying and they spilled on her. Shakira didn’t bat an eyelash and laughed about it and remained extremely professional during that accident!!! Great service by her even with that incident happening!!! Would definitely go back there if I was in the area!!!”

“This place was packed when we arrived but we were able to get a table. The staff here make this place the best place in the area. They are so kind, so friendly, and so wonderful. We got a house appetizer that was so good, I don't remember what I was eating but I wanted a full plate of it. They have sushi as well as some decent looking food from the kitchen. I had sushi and it was good. Fish felt fresh.”

Best Jamaican food I’ve had in my life, hands down. Flavorful, tender, and perfect with just the right amount of spice. Tried the curry goat as well, which was absolutely amazing. Beef patty’s were on point too. Was in Newburgh for 2 days and ended up coming here both nights for dinner takeout. Will absolutely be coming back!”

“Dined here with my family tonight for the first time and we ALL loved everything about Hudson Taco. We started with a large order of guacamole that was really good followed by many tacos, two bowls, street corn, a side of beans and a side of fried plantains. We loved everything that we ordered and look forward to returning soon. Also, I wish that I could remember our servers name because she was just that good! Thanks for providing our family with a great night out.”

“Our group was immediately welcomed and sat at a gorgeous riverside table. Our server, Tammy, was honestly the most thoughtful and kind server I think I’ve ever had. She thought through everything and anticipated our needs. She also suggested the Kung Pao Wings which were excellent. Not only was the atmosphere and service amazing, but the food was as well. The serving sizes were very generous and well priced. We would absolutely come back here again.”

“This months flavor is a mint mocha. I do have a sweet tooth and will admit coffee here is more of a treat for me. I see it as a caffeinated dessert. So I do enjoy coming by every now and then. My husband got the shake and he likes sweet drinks but in his opinion the salted caramel still had a coffee taste to him.”

“This is our favorite Chinese spot and I’ve been a loyal customer for many years. Family owned and operated. We order from here at least once a week and the food is always hot and fresh. The prices here are also a lot lower than other places. The owners have always been very nice to us and I love to support hardworking people. They are working from open till close everyday and their dedication is praiseworthy. Don’t let the location deter you from coming here, it’s worth it!”

“So we were driving through the town of Newburgh looking for a deli to grab a quick bite to eat and came across this place. They had a nice variety of breakfast sandwiches and what first impressed me was the sandwich was made FRESH! The coffee station, meticulous! Not a grain of sugar on the counters and the store was exceptionally clean. Now we tasted the sandwiches, which were done pretty quick by the way, and wow. Like wow! Fresh soft bread, toasted, order was perfect, sandwiches were hot and packaged neatly. My ONLY COMPLAINT is, sadly, they’re far from me. But I’d take that trip for good food, pleasant service and reasonable prices. If you’re passing through that area, definitely check them out!”

“The poor kid that was there seemed to be working the window and counter by himself. Never got his name but he deserves a raise doing all the work alone. This rating is honestly for him. Haven't had a lot of issues there but he's the reason I felt a need to post a rating. I really hope next time I see him there I hear he isn't still stuck doing that.”

“10/10! First and foremost, this place is so squeaky clean you could eat off the floors. The service staff is terrific and the food is out of this world. Try the Samosas- the pastry is fresh, flaky, buttery and melts in your mouth while the insides are perfectly seasoned (some of the best we've ever had). Dipped in the green chutney or the plum sauce and you're in Heaven. We had the Chicken Rogan Josh and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Along with a Garlic Naan (omg...) All were phenomenal. The chicken was tender, not at all dry, and the sauces were delightful. And can we talk about the Basmati rice... not something that would 'pop' off the menu, but it does. Not only is it cooked perfectly (not a single grain was clumped) but it was also seasoned and so flavorful. A lot of restaurants will skip seasoning the rice as a shortcut & savings, but not this one. It's the little details that make the difference. Great price point as we not only had dinner, but enough leftovers for the BOTH of us for lunch today. Looking forward to going back.”

“Incredible experience, will be returning often. Went to alices next door to ask for a bacon egg and cheese, but they don't serve it. i go next door snd i'm grateful i did. sandwich was $5 and a coffee was $2. No .99 on the prices, i paid a flat seven.

Told her we were ready to order and she just walks away and took another ten minutes doing other things. Meanwhile two young men come in and she greets them and ask them
how they are doing. The lady also did not have that many tables so it would be understandable if that’s why she was taking so long but that was not the case. Really wished the service was better so i would give five stars.”

“I have a tradition of ordering tacos for my family every year for my birthday. Of course we missed last year due to Covid-19 shutdown. New owners now, but the tacos were even better than ever. My family couldn't get enough. Now I can get my son interested in eating there. (I grew up in Southern California and had one Mexican great grandmother so I take my Mexican food seriously. I also spent two summers in Mexico with my best friend's family.) So go and eat there....they are truly bilingual.)”

“This is my go to halal spot whenever I head to the masjid here. There operated by Afghans and we'll let's just say the best hospitality of kindness for me. However, it's Newburgh and truly speaking there is just to much chaos everywhere don't know what to expect the slightest bit. So you go in and go out request it to be halal and they'll supply you with your meal. What's mesmerizing is that it's fast food but there has never been a time there soft drinks never tasted out of this world. Mr Khan and I could testify to that over the years there's something quite magically even in this Kenney fried chicken In the worst place meaning location but they have the best pick up halal fresh food for me I like it and the people. The uncles are very nice been knowing of them for a decade.”

It’s a micro business so expect the owners to be there taking care of you, but also pay attention to the social media before you go as they are sometimes closed when they need to be elsewhere. Honestly can’t wait to go back and try more food!!”

“I sat down and ordered my food, after 20 minutes I asked the server where my food was. He replied that it was given to a to go order. I don’t know how this happened as I was the only customer in the entire restaurant. I left the restaurant after I was told this. I would given this experience zero stars if possible. This visit was on 3/20/2025.

I returned to this restaurant 3/31/2025 my visit today was much better than the previous one. The food was great and the service provided was excellent. Today was a five star experience.”
