“We started our tasty journey with the Olives, featuring the Castelvetrano and Cuquillo varieties. They have just a hint of orange that makes a boring bowl of olives a standout taste experience. The Potato Latkes were up next, served with tobiko taramasalata and tarragon. The combination is absolutely incredible, striking a perfect balance between texture and flavor...perfection.For our entrees, our group had the Ravioli Dauphine and the Lamb Meatball Bomber. The ravioli, filled with tender lamb shank and drizzled with beurre blanc, accompanied by scorzonera and crispy kale, is fantastic. The Lamb Meatball Bomber is delicious with its kale, sumac onions, and garlic yogurt. However, the star of the show was undoubtedly the Braised Chicken Leg, paired with black futsu squash, lentils, sage, and endive. It's no exaggeration when I say this is the best meal I have ever had in my entire life. The depth of flavor, the perfect cook on the chicken, and the harmony of the accompaniments is simply unparalleled. We had the Vanilla Panna Cotta with lemon, honey, and toffee for dessert. I have no words that adequately capture its sheer perfection. The Little Club delivered an exceptional dining experience. If I could give them six stars, I would. Every dish was a testament to the chef's mastery over their craft. I cannot recommend The Little Club highly enough; it is an absolute must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine dining at its best.“
“Such a Buffalo staple- all their dishes are solid, and none will leave you disappointed. Great wine selection and attentive, friendly service (Terry is the best!). Homemade pasta is to die for (love the pappardelle piemonte and rigatoni genovese); so are the artichokes. Always a great experience all “
“Had an amazing experience here with 4 of us and a toddler. Service was great, food was out of this world, and the atmosphere was cozy. Can't wait to come back! Had the best French onion soup I've ever had and an Alfredo pasta that I've been dreaming about.“
“This is such a cute place, we tried the wine and Gelato pairing event and we loved it. The place has a chill vibe with beautiful decor and the Gelato is very tasty. This is a versatile Cafe style place offering drinks, small bites, and of course a lot of gelato choices. It has a nice amount of seating, both tables and at the bar. We really enjoyed our time there and can't wait to experience the next pairing event.“
“Wine. Buffalo Bills. Copper. Exposed brick. Kindness. PUPPIES ON A BAR. If you want to know what it’s like to win the lottery and then die and go to heaven, walk in to Just Vino.Owner Jeff will set you up with a glass of gold and then you can make small talk with the baby Jesus who’s sitting next to you pontificating about how every other bar takes a second seat to this one.Bring bacon, you won’t regret it. And neither will Baxter.“
“I love this place so much, the first time I step in Here I felt welcomed. Cathy the owner made me feel like home ? everyone I met the 2 times I Been here became like my long time friends. Great conversations and the energy was amazing. I will visit you now often Cathy thank you for having us and welcome us with a big smile and warm hugs.“
“Amazing dishes, we had about 8 different plates to share , my favourite was either the sea bass or venison, as well as the lobster ravioli. This was hands down best Italian I've had in some time. Also I can not compliment the wait staff enough, they were very present and made sure we had a great dining experience. Amazing staff here. 10/10 for me“
“Truly a hidden gem. I used to live in this neighborhood but never knew this place existed. I came here with my friend when they first opened over the weekend. It was pretty empty. There is a small bar when you first walk in. I ordered a blackened catfish po'boy which came with the sandwich, sweet potato fries covered with some sort of honey glaze, as well as slaw. The portion was large but overall, delish. Wish they toned a bit back on the spices on the fish but the fries and slaw were a nice touch. The restaurant got pretty busy quick afterwards. Would def recommend!“
“Forget everything you know about Italian food. Our meal was fantastic. The filet mignon was a little over cooked, but besides that the pasta sauce was amazing, the house dressing was super good and the garlic bread and knots were also great. Would drive the hour and a half just for this place. Thank you!“
“Exactly what you crave for an easy, fun evening out: cool intimate listening venue, welcoming and beautiful host, fantastic musicians, good tapas, and nice choices for bottle of wine or cocktails. .Pausa…. BRAVA!!Vegetarian options: Vegan may be harder to come by unless you drop the cheese. Vegetarian choices there are a few!Parking: Don’t cut it close. Give yourself time to find a spot.“
“What a great dinner I just shared with a friend! The whole idea of this restaurant is based on Anthony Bourdain's quote about sharing food with friends. And share we did! We split the oysters, parmesan truffle fries, the Tuscan flatbread, and the impossible sliders. We also each got a glass of wine. (No sharing that lol) The food was delicious, and the wine was fantastic, the service was best of all! We got lots of recommendations and suggestions, and we were well taken care of. I was delighted to see that almost everything was able to be gluten free! I had a lot of tasty options to choose from. Overall, we had a great time, and I plan to go back with my fiancé. The experience we shared would have been great for a date.“
“Hands down my favorite in Buffalo, We had an amazing time last night , The fun sleek casual vibe with the extremely attentive knowledgeable staff makes this the best dinning experience ever. Edward is the best , Thank you everyone, Can’t wait to be back“
“Fried lightly breaded fresh Haddock fish fry was small compared to other local mainstays but very good and cooked perfectly. Good slaw and sweet potato fries (upcharge). Clam chowder and linguine with clam sauce also good. Excellent service from Erin M!“
“We came on a Sunday evening without reservations and surprisingly got a table for two in the bar area. Service was excellent, the food and drinks were delicious, and the experience was rememberable. We’re liking forward to returning again soon.“
“On a Saturday evening my husband and I decided to try Trattoria Aroma. Upon walking in we were impressed with the decor and greeting. They asked if we had reservations (which I highly recommend) and we said we did not. The restaurant had just opened as it was about 5:15 pm and was pretty empty. They sat us and within 15 minutes the tables were all full. Even with it being full, it was not overcrowded or loud like many restaurants get. It was so enjoyable. The owner stopped by our table to say hello. My husband has a dairy allergy and we were worried about the bread (which was delicious) and his meal. They accommodated us and the owner stopped by again to assure us that there was no dairy in the bread. I ordered the lobster ravioli and my husband ordered the filet. Both meals were exceptional! I know I will be craving the ravioli until we go there again, which we definitely will! I highly recommend you try this restaurant for yourself and remember to make a reservation!!!“
“Canal Club is amazing every time I go! This is a wonderful example of what a well run, locally owned business looks like. When you're here, they treat you like family. The food is amazing, and the chef is so friendly. They keep the menu fresh and are always trying different specials which keeps me coming back over and over again. I love the outdoor patio during the summer and the ambiance inside during the colder months. Canal Club should definitely be put on your "must visit" list for locally owned favorites.“
