It can get a bit noisy, but the tables are spaced so you're not right on top of your neighbor. Suggestions- Apps- Malfatti, Polpette, Cauliflower Sformatino Main- Spinach & Roasted Garlic Risotto, Cherry Braised Short Ribs, Sunday Gravy, Braised Veal Cheek. Dessert- Beignets, Carrot Cake These are our favorites, but I've heard no complaints about any dishes.“

“My wife and I have been looking for a place to enjoy some Mediterranean staples, and we’re so glad we found Kilim. Firstly, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, wherein you can feel the passion and love the owner has for their space. The food was beyond delicious. Highly recommend the babaganus, I could have ate buckets of it if given the opportunity. Everything tasted fresh and was so flavorful from the bread service to the dessert. And lastly, the service was impeccable. The restaurant was very busy, and the waitstaff made us feel like we were their main priority from the moment we walked in. Truly a hidden gem tucked away in an unassuming location, we cannot recommend Kilim enough.“

“Alright! Where do i begin?! There were 4 people behind the counter and when i walked in, all four greeted me. The manager greeted at the ordering station and didnt overwhelm me to order my food as this was the first time being there. He asked me if id like any suggestions and we landed on the chicken platter with spicy chickpeas rice and cole slaw. Everything about this bowl was immaculate. The chicken was well seasoned and spiced, the chick peas were tender and savory, and the rice was such a great compliment to the protein. I also ordered their fries because why not!The portion size was generous but not overbearing. They had the mexican coke glass bottles which was a great choice to wash the food down with. I got the brown to top it all off and it was amazing. Chipotle, Qdoba, Halal Guys even have nothing on Juicy Platters. I definitely will be coming back with the family!“

“Oh my!! If you pass this spot up you are missing out. We ordered the cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies, and Cinnabons. The cupcakes were so soft and velvety. I was expecting had and grainy but these cupcakes are built as if you made regular ones and pulled them out the oven. My mouth watered eating them. The chocolate chip cookies were also soft and delicious. This place needs a stop when you're in the neighborhood. Even for the non vegan crowd these baked good will leave you surprised and ordering additional.“

I had the Pecan Crusted Salmon Baked Topped with Honey Glazed Pecans served with Caramelized Yams & Collard Greens. So good. The collards had a kick which was a surprise delicious. Our soft drink was the Carolina Sunrise Punch delicious, seriously. The biscuits and cornbread muffins again delicious. My granddaughter had fried chicken wings with French fries and a vegetable from the youngins menu she was well pleased. The server was warm and friendly lie everyone there. The ambiance was delightful with live entertainment. The drive was worth it and made my birthday a true delight. I can't wait to go again. The area is quaint and quiet.“

Our server was very good and took our order with some special notes without fail. This is our fifth time eating here, and Giovanna did not fail on the food. Cheese steak sandwhich had Sautee onions and plenty of thinly sliced steak. It was delicious. We also had eggs over easy, which was done perfectly. The eggs had those fried little eggs of egg whites. Link sausage was tender, juicy, and very flavorful. Scramble eggs were light and tasty, sliced avocados on top were fresh and complemented the dish nicely. It also came with a fresh fruit cup. A complementary refresh on the coffee is a nice touch. The only downside is that when it's busy, the wait time is long. We have waited .45 mins for a table. Street parking only.“

The restaurant is a beautiful Victorian style home from the late 1800s. It is decorated perfectly, creating an attracting atmosphere! It's a limited menu but that is how they can put out such high quality. Prices are not cheap but worth it for the quality and execution. “So many drink options! Excellent coffee, you can customize in every way possible. They offer lots of recommendations if you're overwhelmed and can't make a decision. Servers are always patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Scones are good and the breakfast wraps are the absolute best. The only two drawbacks are that it is quite pricey, and it takes an awfully long time for food orders. I would get breakfast here every morning but it's at least a 15 min wait if you order any food, and there's almost always a line to order. Overall, it's a very good coffee shop and provides an excellent alternative to just the usual Dunkin and Starbucks in the area.Parking: There are only a few spots in front of the coffee shop but you can park further down past C&RC or near Ernie's, if needed.“
