“I was craving another order of "Meggie Cutlets" (chicken francaise), & Cesar of Capperi Restaurant pulled through w/ two pieces of chicken breast of a perfectly balanced flavor of egg, lemon butter, chicken broth, & parsley. It was paired wonderfully w/ angel hair pasta. Only complaint: no public restroom. Only suggestion: Italian sodas to compliment the cuisine!”

Food was unbelievably amazing (ordered off appetizer menu, late night menu, but the whole menu looked great), hosts Russ & Helga were warm welcoming and friendly, live music from Ethan Levy was perfect, every server and bartender were top notch. We will definitely be back. This is a rare Hudson Valley jewel that I am so glad we found.”

Excellent waitress, Kaitlyn, who was hustling taking good care of her tables.Only thing to suggest is reducing the time to get a beer at the bar. There were two bartenders and both were bogged down with filling table orders, often making time consuming cocktails. Someone should be sweeping the bar frequently, filling the needs of these customers. Perhaps one more staffer during peak times.”

But it’s way better than other Thai places in Poughkeepsie (or the Hudson Valley, really). The owner is awesome and she really takes pride in her restaurant. If her clientele didn’t demand such mild flavors, I’m sure she would amp it up properly.”

This location is better than most with a higher accuracy than many others. While not always hot, the food is always warm and tastes like it was made recently rather than a while back.”

Last time we went our son wasn't in the mood for Mexican food but we dragged him anyway and he end up getting chicken wings, and I tell you, oh, my, those chicken wings were great! I decided to order her cake (way) ahead of time and Kellie was extremely helpful and sweet. I told her what kind of ice cream my Mom loves, how many people we were having and she made the most incredible cake. Fast forward to the day of, I picked up the most beautiful two tier cake with fresh strawberries. Our family and friends are still talking about how beautiful and great the cake was. This will definitely be my go-to place for cakes (and ice cream) for now on.”

The coffee smelled scrumptious, but I'll have to try that next time when I not eating their huge sandwiches. THUMBS UP! Rating based off my first time there and my sandwich.”

Sir, those fries were definitely cold and definitely not as good as when hot....”

“We had been driving for quite a while and we were too tired to cook so we decided to try Kokopelli's takeout. The Sierra chicken wrap was made with spicy grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, and melted, fresh mozzarella. It was so moist and delicious with a little bit of a kick. The wrap was stuffed with lots of yummy chicken and I really loved it. The seasoned fries were also great. They were a little cold by the time I got home but I'm betting they're super good hot out of the fryer. I would definitely get this again and it makes me extra happy that it's grilled chicken and not battered and fried. The hubby ordered the Chicken Parmesan with penne pasta, and he thought it was also very good. Two huge pieces of chicken Parmesan with bread, side salad, and penne pasta smothered in sauce was exactly what the doctor ordered to recoup from that long drive. I look forward to trying other things like the wings and the Mexican food. The order was ready by the time I got there and the servers were nice. This is not a fancy place to eat...super casual like a deli but with limited seating.”

My vegetarian burrito was served with a mountain of French fries. Plus thanked for my order as well. So for the food, shrimp were cooked perfectly same with broccoli and bathed in plenty of sauce, so glad they were not cheap with it, skewers were tender and flavorful. Even though it took a shorter than usual time to it, there was no loss in quality. I did notice this first place I found not to offer a soup with lunch specials, was bummed about that, but on the flip side their lunch specials were cheaper overall price point.”

The patty was well-done, cheesed & seasoned nicely; though I must say the Cajun relish, which was delicious, overpowered the blackened meat. The fries, cole slaw, & pickle were perfect. Minus points for having a sticky floor under my table.”

“I wish I could give this a five-star rating but I can't. Depending on the day you go you either get really good service or you get lousy service. The food is either exceptional or it is overcooked and dry. It is one of my dad's favorite so we keep going back. There's only been one time we've had the same wait staff otherwise it seems to be a different person each time. Some are really good and kind, and others are just their trying to get through the day it seems.”

“I have to say Moses our waiter has a great personality and also took our order with out having to even write it down and got it right. The only negative thing I have to say is the manager I believe his name is Ryan was yelling at the line cooks loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear. I have worked in the food industry for many years and there is a way to talk to your cooks, waitstaff etc. and how he handled the line cooks was very disrespectful to them. The customers within ear range heard him loud and clear and the looks they gave when hearing the negative way he spoke to them was like we all where in wow. No one deserves that. Maybe he needs some lessons on how to speak to his employees. On a good note the food was good and I still will be back because Moses made us feel like he cared and treated us like family. Way to go moses!”

“Everything was really fantastic. The food was spot on. The drinks were great, the environment was perfect. Entertainment was spot on. The only problem was the sound system. We had a very difficult time listening to the performer or honestly being able to listen to music. The distortion was crazy. Other than that, it's a first rate venue. Tina burner was on fire ?????”
