“There is not much to say about this franchise. I ordered a pumpking spice late but it wasn't as good as usual. Is a busy one. Didn't see bathroom but didn't ask either. You can definitely do some work or homework here. Not as clean as u would expect“
“Really good bagel. The place is quite small but you have some chairs in order to eat there. You can always order to go. The place is not in manhattan so you will need to travel 30’ on subway in order to reach the place. The service was really good. The only thing to mentioned is that you need to go early because if not some of the bagels are not going to be available. Great food quality.“
“The sandwiches ? ? are tasty ? as can be, I live in Harlem, I had to check ✔️ them out and it was worth the price and the drive over,,go get you 1,I bought 2,ooooh yeah!!!!Kid-friendliness: Can't go wrong ??Wheelchair accessibility: Yes , ground level“
“Amazing breakfast sandwich. Chicken sausage was so good and flavorful, spicy mayo was perfect. Perfectly toasted brioche was the cherry on top. They have a full menu and specials like corn bread french toast and shrimp and grits, will try that next time. Cappuccino was really good. Few seats inside, handful of tables outside. Food was made to order and unexpectedly very quickly. We left and almost came back to get something to go for lunch. Staff went above and beyond to welcome us in... definitely recommend“
“I've been loving La Sandwicherie since their original food cart operation by McCarren Park. So glad they opened an official shop! The menu is well curated, all ingredients are quality, sandwiches are made to order and everything I’ve ever had here tastes fresh and delicious.“
“I just had the best tuna melt panini and Cipriani beverage at Brooklyn Hero Shop. Customer service and conversation is amazing. Sandwich was so tasty #brunch was amazingVegetarian options: There are vegetarian options availableDietary restrictions: There is an option for Dietary restrictionsKid-friendliness: There is accessibility for strollersWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp as well window service available at this location.“
“Don’t let the outside fool you, always walked past but the inside has a whole different atmosphere. It’s rather lovely and reminds me of France/Italy, fresh flowers and staff is amazing! Not to mention how amazing the food is! Some of the best food in Astoria, heaven for vegetarians. I’m not even vegetarian and the Charred broccoli panini is one of the best things and I’m not even vegetarian. Must try in Astoria“
“My two nieces and I popped in this morning on our way to the Natural History Museum. I’ll admit I was hesitant but thankfully I listened to my nieces! I had the avocado and eggs in a crepe, which was the best gluten-free sandwich I have ever had. Did not miss the bread at all. My 14 year old chose the Nutella crepe with banana and the 9 ounce Açaí bowl. Oldest selected one of the big bowls … it was a work of art. Highly recommend and we will be back on our next trip. All the best on your growth plans!“
“They have one of the best roast beef sandwiches in Brooklyn they've been there 86 YEARS!!! WOW!!!If you get the knife and fork roast beef sandwich you MUST eat it right away if you wait too long the juice will make the bread soggy..thier roast beef is excellent I recommend either the knife and fork where they dip the whole sandwich in the greasy oily yummy gravy..omfg deeelicious!!!! Or you can have one half of the bun dipped in the gravy or have it dry just the roast beef in the gravy..I've been there twice and it's ALWAYS the same DEEELICIOUS 5 stars all around once you go once you WILL go back.i hope they're around 86 more years..an old fashioned restaurant SINCE 1938!“
“It is an incredible, cozy place, full of food and flavors that will delight your palate. It is incredible the amount of natural juices that contribute to good health. The service was incredible, the prices affordable and the atmosphere is unique. I loved the mural.“
“Nuru is very friendly and gives a good customer service. Every time I go there he knows what I want and how I want my sandwich. Quick service; the line move very fast with him. Also the Mexican man offer a very good customer service and he’s friendly too. Keep the good work!!! Thank you guys. ??????“
“Place discovered by chance (the Routard indicated the restaurant next door which we do not recommend for the welcome).Unbeatable value for money, very very generous and very very good. The welcome is excellent, even for a French person who speaks the language very poorly. Very fast service. Only very deserved “very” ones.“
“I tried the place for the 1st time around 1 week ago. I've been back again I really enjoyed the chicken wings and my smashed bacon cheeseburger I tried a beer called a Cloud in the Sky it was awesome I will definitely be eating there again“
“Great service from a friendly crew. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food. Menu is a bit weird but seems to be highly customiziable, probably a good place to order online so you can see all the options available. Not a ton of seating indoors (2 seats) but there's a few tables outside.“
“I've been coming here for many yrs, I'm a semi regular and it's always a pleasure coming in. From Felicia being amazing and always having a positive attitude to my service and food always being great, this is def the best Subway I've been to, especially after the renovations. The woman with the braided bun was the star of the show today for making an early release of the footlong sidekicks to me (thanks to management too) I got the churro and cookie one and it's so good, def recommend trying.“
“The vegetarian options are incredible!! So filling and definitely worth it for the price. Also the little boxes that they come in are unreal cute, I get too excited to pop them open. The Gobbler (pictured) is my fav!!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are just as creative and delicious as the meat options. It’s clear that the vegetarian/vegan sandwiches are not an afterthought for this place, they are a prioritized part of the menu!!! (The Gobbler is my fav- it’s thanksgiving in a sandwich!)Dietary restrictions: Vegan options are delicious, vegetarian sandwiches easily made vegan by subbing cheese and eliminating mayo!!“
“I usually don't eat this late, but I was starving and stumbled upon this place on Uber Eats. After Googling them, I decided to give them a try. The chop cheese sandwich was delicious. I'm excited to try another sandwich - it was fresh, and the bread was so tender. I must say, I'm impressed, especially after midnight.Gingercooksnyc ?“
“Awesome deli with fantastic vegetarian/vegan options!I have tried the vegan Tex-Mex wrap, vegan Philly seitan, iKraveIt seitan and the simple vegan sandwich so far. All were delicious with my favorite being the Tex-Mex wrap. With a friendly staff, large portion sizes, and a few seats inside and a bench outside the deli, this place is amazing for cheap, delicious vegetarian/vegan sandwiches!“
“I was craving an Italian sub so I decided to try this place. Instead I ordered their Devil sandwich. Close enough. It was delicious. I ordered the regular size thinking I can split it for lunch tomorrow. But nope I finished the whole thing 2 hours later. Will return to try other sandwiches.“
“This place 100% lives up to the hype probably seen some other sandwiches go viral on social media and it’s easy to see why! I literally drove over an hour to get here just to get a sandwich and it was incredible!Totally worth waiting in line for I got the FDNY, which is chicken cutlet the best homemade vodka sauce you’ll ever have in your life, and fresh mozzarella that was so delicious and melted in your mouth! I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu“
“I am now addicted to malawach: puffy, layered, crispy on the outside, chewy. The BEC+L malawach wrap was fantastic - even delivered, I got the layers. The added crunch from the latke pushed this sandwich into better than breakfast burrito territory. The dairy-free tahini coffee slushie was also excellent. Well-packaged, no spills.“
“I love that there's always parking. The place is clean throughout. Don't sleep on the fried shrimp here, it is consistently bomb. It's disappointing that they only have prepackaged tartar sauce and no other offering to go with it. I hate American Cheese but this is the one place I'll tolerate and at times, indulge in it with the fries. I love their orangeade and appreciate that they include a chunk of actual fruit in it. I've been a customer for years and probably will be so long as I'm in NYC.“
“I had the best experience at Compton's about 2 weeks ago - truly kind service and management - they went out of their way when my Philly cheesesteak was slightly delayed. I so appreciated how nice they were. The cheesesteak was - so good!“
“This location has limited seating but is clearly a crowd favorite. I stopped by because I love pastrami and the reviews said so did Anthony Bordain. The pastrami sandwiches are approx. $24 but to be fair they are massive. I went for the half sandwich and half matze ball soup, which I poured into a bowl since I ordered takeout. Excellent soup, came with one large matzo ball. I particularly enjoyed the half loaf of rye bread which I proceeded to dip in the soup and the mustard packets. Not a fan of pickles but the lady in front of me ordered 6 extra ones so I am sure they're excellent. Overall, the sandwich was tasty and the meat was plentiful. It only took a few minutes waiting. I don't know that I would order their knishes or some of their other items not because they don't look good but because they pricey even for the neighborhood! $9 for a knish is outrageous. But if you're looking for a real NYC experience it's worth the wait for a table.“
“Wow. Really pleased with this. Split a chicken parmigiana hero. Delicious. Absolutely must split with someone or be really hungry. Excellent quality chicken, great tasting sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. I wish the bread was a tad better (got whole wheat), but was definitely fresh - just didn’t live up to rest of sandwich. Will try the other bread the next time. Go hungry and enjoy. Note that there is NO seating inside or out.“
“Food was a good size. It is 1$ more to swap to a wrap and 1$ for an extra egg but other wise great value. Place inside was nice to sit down at and staff was friendly. Will definitely be returning for breakfast again. Wanted to provide an updated menu for 2024 pricing. Enjoy !!!“
“FANTASTIC hidden gem in Jackson Heights - wow! Stopped by for lunch with my fiance and we were blown away. Even their coffee was an unexpected delight, and the mango lemonade was a refreshing treat to wash down the savoury meals. My partner even said the quesadilla was the best he's ever had. Ever. We also tried the K&L Chopped Cheese and K&L Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. Everything was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, fresh, and warm. It's a no-fuss place that operates quickly and certainly doesn't disappoint. Highly recommend if you're in the area!Vegetarian options: Plenty of fresh juices and meat-free sandwich options or modifications - just speak to the friendly staff to see what they can do!Kid-friendliness: Lots of space around! We had tables next to us with kids with books or on their tablets, while their carer ate with them or browsed their phone. Kid-friendly for sure.“
“One of the best sandwich shops in the city. I try to get a new sandwich every time I come but I tend to go back to my favorites. You won’t be disappointed. This will make you spoiled for other sandwich spots, I warn you. They have gluten free bread! (They charge a couple bucks extra), and it’s actually good GF bread lol.Deff. A place to go for take out, rare chance to get a spot to sit down, since there’s only two small tables. And usually a line. But try your luck.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free bread! (They charge a couple bucks extra)Wheelchair accessibility: Space for a wheelchair“
“Navigating through the culinary journey at Flowers & Flour, I've found an enchanting blend of whimsical and traditional bakery experiences, albeit peppered with a touch of unpredictability regarding item availability. On a vibrant Saturday at 3pm, the bakery, although thoroughly sold out of their delectable goods, persisted in remaining open, exclusively offering drinks. A second venture on a more tranquil Monday afternoon revealed a more generous offering of their array of baked items and a singular tuna sandwich amidst assorted gimbaps in various flavors - burdock, tuna, spam, ham, and ham and cheese. The baked delights, from a buttery and moist strawberry jam scone to an indulgent spam gimbap, filled with danmuji, eggs, carrot, and artificial crab meat, proved to be a delightful indulgence. While mayo's presence was mentioned in other reviews, it was the sesame oil that notably graced my palate. The basque cheesecake, however, stole the culinary show with its soft, perfectly sweetened profile, and a delectably burnt exterior that cleverly sidestepped any overly charred flavor. Amidst the delightful savors, the seating area emerged as a vibrant haven, where older Korean adults gathered for warm, lively chats, weaving a tapestry of community and conviviality. The allure of their cake has solidified my resolve to secure a reservation to explore these tantalizing treats in the future. A noteworthy addition to my experiences was the prompt and helpful service. Encountering items labeled in Korean or presented in acronyms posed a minor hurdle, which was gracefully alleviated by the amiable staff, who kindly offered translations and explanations, enhancing the inclusive and welcoming ambiance. While the somewhat capricious availability of certain items does invite a need for flexibility in your visit, the splendidly executed confections, coupled with the heartening atmosphere and commendable service, render Flowers & Flour a destination worthy of repeat visits.“
“My older family members came to NY to visit from Chicago. I went to order 5 Dinner plates for the family that were visiting and 3 more, for myself, partner and my mom. When I return wit food, we all began to eat. NONE OF US WAS SATISFIED! POTATO SALAD WAS PRETTY OK. THE MAC N CHEESE, HORRIBLE! THE MACARONI SALAD, WATERY AND DISGUSTING AF, NO TUNA ADDED. COLLARD GREENS , NOT SEASONED LIKE REAL BLK SOUL TASTE.. NASTY! UNLESS PPL ARE USE TO EATING BLAND AND OR NOT REAL BLACK PPL COOKING.“
“I've been coming here for years. Great casual outdoor area in the back when the weather is nice. Pretty extensive varied menu so no matter what you like, you'll definitely find something to eat here. My go-to is their #38, the steak with the mozzarella and sweet onion jam is not to be missed. Their fries are also amazing and served with your choice of sauces. Super friendly service here every time.“
“Best breakfast sandwiches ever. I had the "kwason" and hubby had the BEC. They actually know how to properly soft scramble the eggs, and every ingredient was high quality and in perfect proportion. They were absolutely delicious, and the cold brew kept me caffeinated all the way back to DC. Can't wait to visit again.“
“Small place, very limited seating, but the food and service are great. The Godmother chicken cutlet hero is a winner and big enough to share or stuff your face and eat the whole thing. The hero bread was fresh and crusty, and they didn't cheap out with the chicken cutlets. Great place for a take out lunch, or if you're lucky to nab a table, eat in.Parking: Tough parking, take the 4 or the 6 to 33 street, walk a few blocks and get your steps in“
“I went here with a couple of friends, and was treated to a fairly decent meal. We came across this place quite by chance. While walking in Manhattan, we were looking for a place to eat that had a seat for each of us free.We spied Delmonico from across the street, and despite construction in the area, we made our way in. There were a couple of food stations and walls limited with drinks. There were plenty of side snacks scattered throughout. Our meals were very pleasant (we each had a sandwich). The prices were not absurd in so far as city pricing goes, and the selection was borderline overwhelming. I'll deffinatly go back here next time I'm in town.Parking: Located in midtown Manhattan, you can forget about parking.Kid-friendliness: Nothing about this place was especially kid friendly, but, there was enough food to satisfy all but the ficklest of tastes.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get in with no problems, but the aisles are narrow. They may offer help if asked, but I have no direct knowledge on the matter. The seating area in the back was floor level, but the tables were a bit close together. The bathroom was not accessible.“
“This place is amazing! We just opened an amazing animal hospital called URvet Care on 30-80 Steinway, which happens to be right around the block from this amazing place! Their "Krave It Bomber" is amazing!!! Me and my staff will be frequent customers!“
“I love this place, the owners are extremely nice, and even if I don't come in for a while they remember me and what I usually order. I've had a few sandwiches form here but the shrimp po boy sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had and I get it almost every time I go.“
“TRIED THE SAUSAGE, EGG, CHEESE AND HASHBROWN ON AN ENGLISH MUFFIN & IT WAS INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS. ALL OF THE INGREDIENTS WERE VERY FRESH AND MOST IMPORTANTLY NOT FULL OF OIL. THE ORANGE JUICE IS TO DIE FOR- FRESHLY SQUEEZED. I AM SUPER PLEASED WITH THIS CAFE AND WILL BE RECOMMENDING FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO GO SUPPORT THEM AND TRY THEIR FANTASTIC FOOD OPTIONS. THANK YOU SO MUCH LITE BITES CAFE!“
“They are just an overall great deli. Sandwiches are filling, good selection of snacks etc. They are also very polite, which makes it nice. when they let you in, even after they mopped up to close the store, oh and the dogs too... You take a liking to the deli.“
“Overall rating: 4.1I stopped by this place for a quick lunch while in the area. I really don’t like how it’s impossible to know the price until you’re right there at the ordering. The website should consider updating given there isn’t any place to sit and think.I ended up paying about $15 for the Cubano and it was okay. It wasn’t anything special. I kinda had a little higher expectations being in Williamsburg and it felt like a boutique shop. Not sure if I’ll come back again if I’m in the area. Recommend giving it a try, but lower your expectations.“
“I know it’s a sandwich place but I ordered one of the salads.I thought it was a good portion for a fair price. All of the ingredients seemed fresh and filling. Would go back and try other foods here.Staff was pleasant but nothing extraordinary or memorable.“
“Great service & great sandwiches! Had heard a lot about Compton and was very excited to try it! Went for the special: Spicy chicken parm and was its everything I needed it to be! The chicken was cooked to perfection and the Calabrian chili’s were a great touch.“
“Neighborhood spot, especially with all that’s changing in the area, you can grab anything from a breakfast burrito to to some groceries. I moved away from the area but everyone still remembered me and it was ice to be there. Get the letter b smoothie and add mint, amazing!“
“Today on this day in spring of 2024, sunny but a little cold outside, and with a line down the street, the most perfect green goddess biscuit was made. So grateful for this place and kuddos to the kitchen for handling all the hungry bellies today with ease and perfection!“
“Mandy helped us host a virtual event with our clients. Absolutely incredible cheeses and she was perfect at hosting everyone on zoom. We’ve done a lot of virtual sessions and this was by far the best. Mandy is beyond knowledgeable without being pretentious, and strikes the right balance of leading the event while allowing everyone else to connect and ask questions. Thank you Mandy!!!“
“From the first moment you enter this restaurant they give you a pleasant feeling. Very courteous team, it is a nice place to hang out with your friends or with your date. delightful cuisine, specialist chef de cuisine, good cost and courteous service. Highly recommended.“
“I had to write about this Subway location...my favorite location in the Springfield Gardens area. The attendants are always welcoming. They are attentive to you as they prepare for sandwich. I'm dieting and get a sub once a week. They are ALWAYS friendly and upbeat. Even when it's crowded and in dealing with the young-uns after school. Kudos to you all for maintaining a nice spot in my neighborhood.“
“Decent little sandwich place next to Dunkin Donuts. Employees are pleasant, service is okay, sandwiches are pretty good. Parking lot in front of the store. Takeout or sit at one of the four tables inside. Nice for a change of pace.Vegetarian options: There are optionsDietary restrictions: Options existParking: Parking lot in frontKid-friendliness: Okay for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Small place but accessible“
“Really good sandwich from a food truck. Have tried quiet a few on the menu and haven't found one I didn't like. I usually get the Sonny Red or Lefty Louie. Coworkers have gotten the chicken sandwiches before and said it was good. I prefer the Focaccia or the French baguette personally.“
“Warm staff… immediately when i walked in they greeted me and welcomed me with open arms. Victor and Jose! such nice men. but let me not forget how AMAZING this sandwich was…. unbelievably fresh ingredients… coming back every week! lol. 10/10“
“I go to this Subway every day. So it is the best. They know what I want I don't even need to open my mouth. I keep my headphones on while they prepare the sandwich. Absolutely brilliant customer service. Don't forget for their specials. Chicken parmesan and creamy Sriracha sauce. Only thing that could be improved is that this Subway doesn't have a restroom almost every other Subway does.“
