This place doesn’t not disappoint at all. They only have been open for 4 months and everything they do is perfect. The first thing you notice when you go in there is how clean everything is, from floors, walls, seating, kitchen, etc. The food is unmatched by any other, very generous portions, the quality is excellent and the taste is consistently amazing. They cook their food well and the spices are perfect. The price is very reasonable for the quality of their dishes. Lastly, the workers there are extremely respectful, kind and hospitable. They make me feel welcomed every time I come in especially now that I’m a regular there. Keep up the good work!”

“This restaurant is Schenectady’s Best kept secret. I’ve been there several times for lunch and it never disappoints. The service is spot on from when you walk in the door, no pun intended but I’m in a wheelchair(handicap accessible) to when you are leaving, opening doors and exchanging goodbye pleasantries. The place itself is immaculate, shiny floors, beautiful atmosphere, great background music and above all delicious food you know is prepared to order. While being there for lunch, I ordered off the dinner menu with no problem, as the staff is extremely accommodating. The menu includes a wide variety of options to satisfy every palate.
Next time you’re looking for a great, quiet and delicious place for lunch or dinner, give Chez Nous a try you will not be disappointed. They have private spacious rooms for small private events and I will reiterate the place is spotless and extremely comfortable with GREAT FOOD!

It was evident that her section was extremely busy, and we were politely notified that the kitchen was short-staffed that Friday evening. But we never would have guessed as the service was outstanding and the food arrived within a reasonable time. Thank you to our beautiful server whose name I regrettably cannot recall (dark hair, crow tattoo, drop-dead gorgeous) and to the kitchen for making our night exceptionally enjoyable.”

Dolmades were not on the online menu as an add on and we wanted to split a salad and add some on. I called and the waitress was happy to manually add them on if I put in a note & charge accordingly. She did it and they were amazingly fresh, best we’ve ever had. I’m big on trying Rueben’s from different places and this is hands down one of the best corned beef Rueben’s ever. My husband got the chicken sandwich with the basil and pesto I forget what it’s called but tried a bite of that and so fresh. I have always liked tops but in the past but I don’t know if they got new cooks or not because this was above average from the food we’ve had in the past and when I’ve ordered takeout in the past there’s been a thing or two missing. Not now. Everything was hot and fresh and the waitress that ordered was so friendly. I know DoorDash can be difficult because the food may not arrive how the restaurant puts it out but we had an amazing driver too!!! This experience will make us go back. When you are used to eating home cooked meals and you are sick and you get a good meal like that and friendly service it makes such a difference. Thank you! I cannot stress how fresh everything was. So important that the food is checked prior to ensure everything is there and that was done.”

“This is my 3rd time getting take out and I love it. It’s not the typical super salty Chinese American food. It’s well flavored, not oily, and good portion for fresh veggies/meat. Emphasis on this - it is not salty or overloaded with seasoning.

We waited over thirty minutes after being seated before anyone even approached us for a drink order or to bring water, a delay that felt prolonged even for a busy night. Seeing other tables not receive menus and witnessing several groups depart due to the extended waits suggested a need for better coordination among the team, even while acknowledging potential staffing shortages. The culinary quality is definitely there, but the service needs some attention”

I went in there at 6:30 sat at the bar bartender put on the anger game and was very attentive. Great service. I didn't ask his name but he handled the whole bar. Good people. No craziness. Ordered a Heineken onion rings which both were fantastic. Look I'm mostly interested in good servers and someone that's smiling and that's what I got. The bar stools were far enough apart where you weren't hitting shoulders or elbows with other people who's good nice hometown bar. I miss it. I live in Scottsdale most of the year and everything's a free-for-all. I don't care what bar you're in
