“Went to Joey's for the first time last night. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was. From the fresh bread with yummy garlic butter to delicious salads and fabulous entrees. I ordered Shrimp Francaise and it was the best food I have ever eaten. I brought Tiramisu home for desert. Again, mouth watering, so so delicious. My friends had eggplant Parmesan, clams, salmon, chicken french, and all raved about their entrees. But the other best part was the host Chris and our wonderful server Nancy. She is by far the best server ever. She made our evening fun while providing excellent service. Totally in tuned with our table and always answering our questions with knowledge and a wonderful attitude. The ambiance was great. Nice little tables for two in corners and just the right atmosphere for everyone.”

My server never checked in to ask how my food was, but he did have a lot of tables. I probably would return and order something else. Overall, it’s worth checking out. They do seem to get very busy though. Parking can be limited.”

“I've never said "Wow, this is a good burger" when I went to any other McDonald's. I don't know if they salt the patties or have some other secret method, but WOW the burger I got blew me away. I liked the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the place. Only downside is the music might not be to everyone's taste, but everything else made it a shockingly good stop.”

“My absolute favorite restaurant in Syracuse. The fries are immaculate with the perfect crispy exterior, and soft smooth interior. My go to main dish is the Kefta Kebab, and they always fulfill my request of extra Sumac on the side :) The staff is so friendly, it's always pleasant to come here. I am moving and this will be the place I genuinely miss the most in Syracuse!! I forgot to take a picture before eating, so here is a picture of my leftovers from the Kefta Kebab platter. This is a must visit restaurant if you like middle eastern food!!
Edit, forgot to say: I also took notice of how clean this restaurant is. Every time me and my family come in, I see how sparkly clean all the tables, kitchen, and bathrooms look. This puts lots of confidence in quality!”

At one point her and I were joking about her helping crack them open with me because this girl can out eat the guys when it comes to crab legs 🤷🏻♀️ lol and a few minutes later she actually pulled up a chair, put on some gloves and said let's do this!! “I give all my buyer clients gift baskets when they close on a new home. In every basket I include the three items that are a part of an old traditional house blessing: “Bread—that this house may never know hunger, Salt—that life may always have flavor, and Wine—that joy and prosperity may reign forever” I always use small, local businesses for the products to make and fill my basket. Especially the bread! I want it to be same-day fresh, and from a bakery as close to the client’s new home as possible. Well, yesterday I had a final walkthrough with a client in the Scottholm neighborhood, and Tous Les Jours was the closest option. Boy was I blown away by every detail of this shop!! It was pristine, every item and every surface sparkled and gleamed, there were so many delicious looking pastries and so many I had never seen before! The chefs were dressed in beautiful gingham uniforms and chatted with us as easily as if they had known us for years. I will definitely be going back many times. And my clients very much appreciated the delicious, authentic French Baguette!”

“We were seated immediately even though there were a ton of vehicles in the parking lot. Had our drinks in less than 2 minutes of sitting down. Our food came in a timely manner. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The manager made a brief stop to see how we were enjoying our meal.
I had the Hibachi salmon with rice and steamed broccoli. Broccoli was a little too over streamed but that's my personal preference, otherwise everything was delicious. My partner had the French Onion burger that she enjoyed.

Been there twice so far because the food is so good but both times it’s like once the waitress brings your food, she disappears and you can’t find her again if u need anything else. Both times I went it was slow. Once was for dinner service and the next time was for lunch service. Same two waitresses on both times. Love the food but the service leaves something to be desired. Makes me wonder what happens if it’s actually busy. However, the food has been incredible enough so far that I’ll keep going back until the food and the service both become subpar. Hopefully that won’t ever happen.”

“I just moved to Glen Ave and had no idea who to get good Chinese from so I read reviews. Some were scary with roaches and this looked good! Well they exceeded my expectations. The sesame chicken was cooked perfectly and followed my request on shrimp fried rice and pork fried rice. Both rice dishes had fresh and perfectly cooked meat and not overcooked and hard. The crab ragoons are the best I have ever had and I am a snob when it comes to those. This is THE best authentic Chinese restaurant I ever had and will be ordering again soon!”

“We stopped in for late afternoon drinks on Christmas Eve. We passed so many establishments that were closed we were happy to find an open door with many patrons inside! They are sporting a vast selection of Beers, plus full bar. We enjoyed a variety amongst the four of us between a beer, rose wine for me, martini, and whiskey sours. Was a nice place chat and catch up pre dinner, reminiscent of earlier years at the former PJ Dorsey’s. Friendly enough service with a touch of rye. We had just visited Clayton recently, I’ve included a couple of snap shots of Hop Spot currently closed for season. Someone is peeking out the third story! Love to visit the Clayton location in season, great architecture!”

We had a great conversation with our server about the spice level and the food quality. I told her I came here for the heat and to let me have it. There's just something about Thai spice that compliments the dishes so well, it's why I love Thai cuisine so much when done right. Can I just tell you how happy this food made us? When we lost our local Thai place, it was like there was a death in the family. This was like seeing an old friend again. I ordered panang curry with chicken and Julie ordered a mango cashew stir fry. Wow. Both dishes were amazing. The flavors were so pronounced, the veggies were so fresh. It hit all the buttons. And just like the place we used to frequent, the heat was perfect. It was about 8 star heat for those of you who frequented Thai rose. I told my server when she brought it out I was quite excited to be able the see the heat in my dish with all the red speckles in it. We can't wait to return and explore the rest of the menu, very highly recommended.”

This is not the majority of peoples opinions who get food from here I can assure you of that. The ones that enjoy it got their belly's full and fingers too sticky to type something out. I have always loved their wings, ANY FLAVOR and the general tso's pizza is INCREDIBLE! Give them a chance. If they disappoint you- just remember nobody is perfect and not everything will reach everyone's highest expectations.
