“Would love to shout out The Noco Kitchen in Tappan.I reached out asking if by chance i can purchase individual meals for my husband and his partner since they are working tonight at the ambulance corps (unfortunately I wasn’t around to cook!).The owner of Noco accommodated my request and was more than happy to put together individual thanksgiving meals for them.According to my husband & his partner, the food is fantastic!“

“Stopped by this little gem on a gorgeous fall day after weeks of driving by, and so glad we did. Food was outstanding and the couple who run it are just lovely people. Everything was reasonably priced and served to us in a nice outside little picnic area they have behind the truck. Best pulled pork I've ever had, blowing away a popular local BBQ place that begins with a "B" and better than another good truck that be starts with a "G." As Arnold said, "I'll be back."“

“We just stumbled onto this place and were SO happy with the lunch. I had avocado toast with poached eggs. Every ingredient was fresh and flavorful. You can tell the eggs were very fresh, the fresh spinach was not overdone and the sprouts were brilliant. I also had an apple tart that was just the right amount of sweetness and crunchiness; not overdoing the brown sugar topping. When in town; I plan to visit again.“

“I recently attended my neice's Shabbas Shevah Brachos and Heimish was the caterer for the all the meals.All the food served was fresh and delicious with a homemade feel. The chicken soup served Friday night was absolutely superb and above expectations when being served from a commercial kitchen! It was hearty and hot along with the matzah balls and noodles!For all three meals (Friday night, Shabbas lunch and Shalesh Suedes) the courses were plated nicely.We have a number of family members that required strict gluten free options which was met absolutely beyond expectations! Everything was clearly labeled and kept clean away from any cross contamination and indeed no one walked away with any reactions!I absolutely reccomend Heimish for any and all types of simchas for your catering needs!“

“I recently attended the catholic daughters of the Americas Court, Saint Anne. 100 th Anniversary.The entire staff was on point, swift and courteous!! Our food was delicious. The view overlooking the Hudson and the TZ bridge was beautiful. We were waiting for a rainbow!! Decor was so tastefully done. ? Can’t wait to go back for another event.“

Martin was responsive to our emails and calls throughout the week, and allowed flexibility in what we wanted for our big day. “Whether you're looking for a selection of old-school Jewish appetizers, like pickled herring, the lox and cream and onion sauce, or prepared kosher entrées, this establishment will do the trick! Even better it's glat kosher and Shomer Shabbos! They're kosher for Passover Pizza is a real annual treat. And if I'm not mistaken, their fried chicken which they make fresh every Tuesday, it's absolutely fabulous.“

“I live in Cincinnati Ohio but was born and raised in Washington Township. I haven't been back to casa in over 20 years and it was great to see nothing had changed and the eggplant parmesan is still as awesome as I remember it. Keep it up everyone, it was a nice treat visiting back home.“

“Beautiful Irish bar in the Bx. I was there to play darts one night. I shoot in a league so we travel around. Dart board on site of course, and away from most people so you can play in peace. The drinks are reasonably priced as well and the bartenders are good too.“

“I would definitely host another party or event at the Elan. The entire staff from the initial planning of my grandson’s birthday party, to the day of the event including the servers. The whole event was flawless. The food was good. The only reason why I can’t say that the food was great was that the Chicken Marsala was overcooked. The smoked BBQ here is top-notch, with smoky ribs, pulled pork, and mouthwatering brisket. The prices are affordable, and the staff is friendly. Definitely need to return to try their chicken and burgers. Mickey's Oasis is a must-visit for delicious BBQ in a outdoor setting.“

I spoke to many caterers but then I would have to coordinate balloons/decorations with another vendor...and then I spoke with 8th Day Caterers. It was just an email exchange. I was sent the menu, I ordered online and then I just showed up. Food was yummy, table looked adorable, everyone was happy and fed.“

“I went here for Pick Hungarian Salami, they would slice it on the oval for me. Always picked up at least 4 different types of Pirogies. The homemade mustard and the potato salad. Have recently moved to Florida, finding it to be culturally food deprived. Reading other reviews I see that they ship. I will have to try that.“

“What a gem Congers and all of Clarkstown has with Steve's! I recently showed up a few minutes past closing and all the lights were out. I was sitting outside in my truck deciding where I'd go to find what I needed. Before I could leave, Steve opened the door and asked if I needed anything. He invited me in, turned on all the lights, and was happy to help me out rather than see me drive away.Steve and his staff are always eager to please, their product is incredible, and it's a pleasure to support their business.“

“Great bread, quality meats. Got the Italian combo . It was well constructed and perfectly seasoned. Highly recommended. $13 . Unfortunately, the owner (a super nice gentleman) has a group of consistently miserable people working for him. Ordering anything, especially asking for no lettuce, you will get an exasperated look , followed by a look of contempt at the end. Sad to see these people have come to work here from wherever they're from and feel entitled enough to treat this man's customers that way. So if you want really good food and a scowl doesn't bother you, try this deli out the food is consistently fresh.“
