“Love the food! We found the indian food very flavorful. We loved the eggplant appetizer. We were asked if we wanted our Amul butter chicken lightly spicy, medium spicy or very spicy. It was very refreshing to have given a choice of spice level. We also had cauliflower with potatoes. The food was not too heavily spiced and very flavorful. We would definitely go back again.“
“So impressed with the delicious food and beautiful presentation. My husband loved the Veggie Pakoras and the Masala Dosa. The waiter was very friendly and made note to not use ghee on the Coconut Naan and Masala Dosa when my husband told him he is vegan. I loved the Tandoori Chicken, best I've tasted and so tender! We look forward to trying other dishes from their extensive menu on our next visit.“
“Have been there several times (for a celebration of life, several big family birthdays). The food is very good. The hospitality is excellent. Price is fair for a large gathering. They are very willing to accommodate special requests at the events you have there.“
“Came here on a Friday night for dinner with some friends. They had nice live music! Really liked the ambiance. We could dine and still hear ourselves think! We decided to order a bunch of dishes and share a La family style. We ordered few types of bread, including garlic naan. The main thing I was looking forward to was the momos! We ordered the set of different flavors, which including chicken, beef and veggie. The desserts were also very tasty! My favorite was the rice pudding, I can't wait to come back here!“
“If your around this area looking for a new Indian spot try this place. It’s a million times better then non authentic Mumbai Dreams in Nyack. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding thanks to Danny. Must try this little hidden gem.“
“We have been to Chutney Masala several times and really enjoyed each visit. It really is a local gem. The food is always beautifully prepared, flavorful, fresh, and delicious. The service is great, too. They genuinely want you to have a great meal. The menu has a wide variety of snack items (like pani puri), vegetarian as well as carnivore friendly items. It's a great place to come for a date night. I can't wait to try everything on their menu. Highly recommend.“
“Ordered the chicken curry lunch box and picked up within 45 mins. It came with a portion of chicken curry, chopped and sautéed red vegetables (I think it may have been beets), fluffy rice, moru curry (turmeric-infused buttermilk), mango pickle, fish curry, and a gulab jamun. (I substituted the default kingfish curry for "malabar fish curry" with salmon pieces instead - was blown away by its taste!). Everything was fresh and flavorful! I especially loved the fluffy rice, the moru curry, the spiciness of the chicken curry, and most of all, the flavor profile of the malabar fish curry! Would definitely come back and buy this combo again!Parking: Street parking on slight incline. Street is fairly quiet and was somewhat filled but can still easily find parking.“
“We’ve been eating at Masala Kraft for years. Their food and service is so delightful. If you never had a dosa before, you are clearly missing out in life. Seriously? What are you waiting for? No. Seriously. You need to stop what you are doing and eat here now.If you see this manager, tell her Tom sent you and she will make your dosa the best spiciest dosa ever. This definitely meets Indian standards and more. Are you still reading this review? What are you waiting for? Get in the car and eat here now.“
“The food is absolutely delicious. Don't miss out trying Beet Arancini and Marigold paneer. The kathal(jackfruit) biriyani is one of the tastiest biriyani I have ever had.Loved the creative twist in presentation.Staff is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!“
“Spoke to Danna and she MADE OUR NIGHT!!! I came with a friend to have a few drinks and she took time to joke around with us. She is super funny and friendly and very attentive. Please give her a comedy spotlight!!!! ? she definitely added to the friendly atmosphere.“
“In all honesty one of the best takeouts, not only best indian food I’ve ever had but best meal I’ve had in a long time . Everything was amazing on time , hot , the chicken was perfect, the flavors were just exquisite everything was on point!I rarely ever write reviews and I’m a tough critic coming from a family of chefs . 100% I’d order again and happy I found this place .“
“Love this place. We mostly order in and the whole family loves the food. Eating in the restaurant is even better, more authentic, experience. It's our go-to place when we don't feel like cooking at home and don't want to argue about picking a place because it's universally loved.“
“One of the best north Indian food I have had in a while. Their tandoori chicken is the best. Delicious! Portion size was a little large for an Indian place. Just go and get your food, you won’t regret. The place is fairly easy to get to by subway as well as car.“
“10 STARS!! ********** We met Abe and Shirley at their first restaurant in Brooklyn when we first got married 35 years ago!! Abe and Shirley are the best!!! Our families became friends and we were honored to be at their wedding! The cooking was just amazingly delicious!! For years we were trying to find the new place they opened up and I just got lucky and found it 35 years later!! We will definitely be in as soon as you open with Mike and Robin!! Can’t wait to see you guys!!“
“This place would get 5 stars if the portions weren’t not so small! I’ve been here about 3 times, their chicken tikka masala, Lentil soup and garlic nan of course :p was oso good. I did try the mango shrimp which sorry not sorry it tasted kind of soapy. Otherwise! I was pleased with their environment and customer service :). MANGO LASSI run dont walk.“
“It's been awhile since we have had some delicious Indian food and the meal we had at RaaSa did not disappoint. The service was exceptional and we couldn't thank Jeet enough for being attentive service. I will be back and definitely recommend if your in the Elmsford vicinity.“
“The food was extremely tasty, packed a lot of juicy flavor, and an amazing ambience for families dining.Kid-friendliness: Perfect place for family dining.Wheelchair accessibility: There are wheelchair accessible seats right outside the restaurant.“
“I order Togo from here and the food is always delicious! Samosas, garlic naan, and shrimp tandoor are always my go to and it hits every time. The inside of this restaurant seems cute for a little night out in the neighborhood (I’ve just never ate in). The staff are always pleasant and the food is prepared pretty fast!“
“The service was lovely- very attentive and kind staff. The food was scrumptious: freshly made vegetarian appetizers for a delicious and generously-portioned platter followed by the classics and finished with a perfectly-sweetened rice pudding!“
“Very kind people, the food is beyond amazing my absolute favorite restaurant!!!!! It’s a legit hole in the wall place that serves the best foods as hole in the walls do. I highly recommend you trying it. It’s totally worth it and will not disappoint.“
“You can dine in, but I think they do more take out. The chicken biriyani is incredibly flavorful. Everything has a building heat, which I thought was fantastic, but if you are a little iffy on thatn keep that on mind. The was a bit of a licorish taste which i found a little much (maybe star anise?), but so good I didn't mind. The chicken and vegetable samosas were really good. The naan is made fresh. It was a amazing as you'd imagine from that. Oh, and you will need cash. They don't take credit or debit.“
“The best West Indian food in the Bronx in my opinion.Everything is cooked and seasoned well, can order anything off the menu and it will taste good.It is reasonably priced, customer service is great, there is a reason it has been a neighborhood staple for so long.“
“One of my favorite take-out Indian Food places in the area. Their lunch and Dinner specials are quite affordable and you get a pretty good portion of food. I usually go for butter chicken or paneer tikki masala with garlic naan. The mango lassi is also above average. The palaak paneer is also delish. If you ask for spicy they make it pretty tasty spicy. Medium spice level is the right level for most I would think.“
“I have been looking for a great Indian Restaurant since I stopped working in the City. I was going to FedEx and decided to stop in for the first time today. The gentleman was so nice and was so concerned about serving me fresh food! The food was so delicious that I absolutely cannot wait to go again! Amazing Customer service and amazing experience!!“
“I've been going to Coriander from when they first started. As an Indian, I can assure you their dishes are fresh and delicious!! Shawn and the staff, especially Joe, are always super duper friendly and professional. We are very lucky to live so close to them and to be able to order take out or dine in at their amazing location. They recently updated the decor/paint and it looks incredible. Some of our favorite dishes there are the chicken tikka masala, biryani, malai kofta and poori. Hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in the area!!! Go check them out!“
“Absolutely amazing. I have never eaten food this fresh. They embody the true essence of Indian hospitality, making you feel like a valued guest throughout your dining experience.Sitar Palace is a hidden treasure that delights with its emphasis on freshness, flavors, and impeccable service. If you're a lover of Indian cuisine or simply looking for an extraordinary dining experience, this is the place to be. With its commitment to quality and genuine passion for Indian food, Sitar Palace is a destination that should not be missed. Prepare yourself to be whisked away on a culinary adventure where freshness takes center stage.“
“Love Royal Palace. It's the real deal! We've been coming here for a looong time. They also cater big parties, so don't get freaked out if the parking lot seems full. The restaurant might be fine. There's a buffet weekdays for lunch (not sure about weekends). The staff is very pleasant and helpful and the mixed drinks are quite yummy (try the mango martini if that's your speed). I liked the chicken saag and my companion had the chicken vindaloo (that's some spicy stuff!) Great naan too.“
“I had a party of 12. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. I think this place should be crowded every night. We had a variety of dishes from tandoori to vindaloo. Each dish was delicious. Do not hesitate to try Indian food and Diwan. It was great!“
“We really enjoyed the food we got at Dom's Deli the other day! We ordered online through their website (first time users can get $5 off by putting in your email address!). I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich on a roll (you can choose your bread) with fries. These fries are definitely top 3 in the area! My bf got the chicken cheesesteak hero with sweet potato fries. We also got a side of the Mac n cheese to try. Everything was really good! The pickup went smoothly and I'm glad we ordered ahead bc it was packed! Can't wait to try it again!“
“Warm and inviting but, not traditional. This family owned and run business is filled with delicious surprises. Don't get me started on the melt in your mouth flavor bursting lamb . The naan bread needs a caution label like you'd find on a pack of cigarettes because, I'm ready to take the drive back to the bronx to get some more .“
“I wasn't acknowledged when I first entered, once noticed staff appeared hospitable. I'm vegan and ordered lentil soup, first time trying Indian version which was a bit thin, not my usual but good, spice, curry and flavors were obvious, which I like, reasonably priced and appreciate as the area doesn't appear to have many options for my diet.“
“I ordered the tikka chicken biryani and SPECIFICALLY asked to not make it spicy bc it’s for children and there’s like a million chillies in it??♀️. Get home and it’s super spicy for me (i have a high spice tolerance) and so they couldn’t eat it and i had to make something quick for them, not only money wasted but now im sitting with so much unnecessary food. I got a lamb biryani for myself, lamb was very tough but Both are delicious (flavor wise) and it was my first time ordering from here so I’ll just say, be careful of the spice even when they say they won’t make it spicy. Next time will order less and only for myself bc I can’t trust it for my kids again but so happy i found this place!“
“When I tell y’all this food is so good. I never liked Indian food ever I’m not sure if it’s because this place is vegan/vegetarian or what but this food is so good and always fresh even late at night. Ever since I tried this place about a month ago on Uber Eats I been ordering it atleast once a week. The Biryani rice is good but I really like the Aloo Gobhi. I’m obsessed with their spring rolls and Samosas whew the lemonade is good too“
“I Ordered the Large Oxtails and J*** BBQ Chicken . Both dishes were good and definitely worth the detour we took to get there. Oxails wasn't tough, it was almostmeltingin my mouth. The server was very nice and was ok with answering my questions. So service 5, taste food 5 but the decor of the store is definitely a 2. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong. it's a good store and I would definitely eat here a million more times.“
“Lovely buffet which quality is better than most. They seem to have a rotation and I got something different each time that Ive been here. (Few times) Its in a strip mall and ambience is just acceptable but great food. The food is not too americanized, which is to say that it's not bland. My fav india joint right now“
“We went to Nawab for iftar on a Saturday. Despite of the amount of people that were there, the extra large banquet hall didn't appear crowded with tables all spread out. The place was clean and organized with staff constantly taking away used plates and cutlery. The entire variety of food was delicious and the service was nice and friendly. Would definitely bring out the family here again!“
“Everything was exceptional! Most importantly, the food tasted sublime. The lamb and chicken tandoori were tender and juicy. The flavor of the spices were amazing. The mango lassi was extra rich and sweet. The naan was warm and soft and buttered to perfection. The samosas were great as well. Best Indian food I’ve had in a while, and I’m definitely coming back in the future.“
“Great Indian spot with an array of dishes for the buffet lunch. High quality dishes specially, Chicken Korma was my favorite. You can order a la carte off their menu as well. Glad to see a crowd of people on a Saturday afternoon. We couldn't find any chetney, it would give us a perfect meal. We weren't sure if we had to order them separately or not. Conclusions, we love them and we will be back soon.“
