“Usually when you go to a Jamaican resturant the staff treat you like they don’t want you there, maybe because they don’t want to be there themselves. This is NOT the case at Cravin!!! The Energy is Always Pure & Positive, The Staff Greets you when you walk in, they talk to you, make jokes, etc. Sometimes my whole mood changes just from going there. THEN, theres the Food…Freakin Amazing, & It’s Consistant!! What you get on Monday is the Samething you gon get on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, etc. I’m There At Least Once or a Week ( most times more than that), it’s to the point where they know what I want lol. “I cross the freakin bridge from NJ to go here... Regularly. They are better than the spots around me in North Jersey.1. There are super nice people working here and explain the dishes to you if you're not Jamaican and unfamiliar with the cuisine.2. Their portions for the price are easily 2x the places in north jersey.3. Their food is just better tasting than the other spots I've tried. The oxtail... Succulent and falling off the bone. The Jerk Chicken... Seasoned all the way down the bone and just heavenly.You will not be disappointed if you stop in here, 100% worth the stop.“

“I think Mya's Bar & Kitchen is an underrated spot. The food and service have not disappointed me yet and the space is an overall vibe. I've gone here several times and whether it's the honey shrimp, oxtail tacos, mac and cheese as well as sorrel drinks...Mya's Bar & Kitchen brings me joy. It's a well needed spot to the neighborhood and I hope more people come out to support this place. I don't want to see it go.“
“While searching for something different for dinner, came across D'Bay and realized that Jerk Chicken would really hit the spot. The reviews were good but had some questions about sides etc so I called the restaurant. The gentleman who picked up answered my questions and I really enjoyed talking with him. He told me what he had available (plenty of Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork, almost out of curry goat, enough for a small serving) and I placed my order with him. I drove over with my daughter, found there were two municipal lots on either end of the block he was on, so parking was easy. Ended up getting a large Jerk Chicken and a large Jerk Pork, both with rice n peas and mixed veg/cabbage and a small curry goat, with rice n peas and mix veg/cabbage. All the dishes also came with plantain. We also got a homemade sorrel juice, a homemade peach mango juice and two muffins (banana and carrot). The food was waiting there for us and the owner (the guy I spoke to on the phone) provided great customer service with a smile. I paid with cash ($58 for everything) and told him we would see him soon. The food was really tasty, with the large orders having enough for two meals. The banana muffin was good but the carrot muffin was really amazing. Overall a very good experience and we will definitely be back there again for more very tasty food.The two pics are Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork. We started eating before I could remember to take pics, so note that the dishes do come with more food in them. “Customer Service was great. I was in desperate need of some fried plantain (lol) and stoped here. When I got inside they said none was prepared. I explained how I didn’t want anything else that morning besides that. The lady in the front asked the Chef if he had any, he checked and they did. The chef made the plantain and it was done in no time. Im so appreciative because for them It was not about a customer only potentially spending a dollar on an order of plantain. They took the time to make someone’s day better with what ever inconveniences they might have had. Most restaurants would have said they don’t have it and wouldn’t even attempt to make more even if they could. Thank you guys and I will definitely be coming back to try things on the menu. “I enjoy driving long distances to try new food places specially family owned and I'm so glad I came across this hidden gem. I've been trying to find a good Jamaican food spot and I believe I finally found it. The quality of food was really good, fresh and delicious. The Mango Carrot juice I tried is so refreshing and reminds me of my childhood. The woman upfront was super helpful and explained everything that was available. “This is a great place to eat. Vendors are friendly and food is really good. The j*** chicken was my favorite (really hot, yes!) and the rice is soft, well cooked. They also have a variety of salad mix. The potato salad was really good. I'm not a fish eater but even the seafood smell good. Price is reasonable, I think it's 9$ a pound but less money if the weight is less. It's definitely worth it.Vegetarian options: They have a variety of mixes for salad.“

I can hardly walk by without stopping to buy ,and I been gaining weight as a result of that even though I always choose to order with only vegetables, no rice. I anticipate Fridays when they cook the goat soup(Manish water) it's the best I ever had ,and am 39 years old lol. “I have ordered both in the restaurant which is extremely small with no seating.I also had it delivered the food was well packaged.As it pertains to the food itself the food is well seasoned. The only dish I would state that needs a bit of a change is saltfish, and ackee whichwas a bit greasy and the dumplings needed to be fried a bit softer and needed a bit of seasoning. It is only on the breakfast menu, I would suggest to make this dish throughout the day.Otherwise, the food is great and I would highly recommend it.“

The inside of the store was a bit empty probably due to the fact that I came there in the late evening but the inside was very clean and the staff was very nice and friendly. I got a small order of oxtails with rice and peas and steamed vegetables to go. The price was a bit steep at $15 but everyone knows oxtails is really expensive. I took the food back to my room poured myself a drink and I began to feast the first bite my taste buds went wild not too sweet not too spicy just right. The meal I ordered was delicious and I will definitely try other options on the menu I can definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place for some nice Caribbean food to dine on.“
