“I ordered the general tso chicken and vegetable rolls with rice on the side. The food was great I will be a frequent client to this business. Ima real person not no bot or employee. Just beyond satisfied with the quality and cleanliness of the food.“
“Everything about this place is excellent. I had the chicken satay and the beef pad see ew and all I can say is, don’t be afraid to try them out, you will not regret it!To drink I ordered the Lychee-plum and if you like sweet drinks, I can assure you will love this one as much as I did.“
“I have been coming to this establishment since it was legit a box on the block. If you walked too fast you'd miss it...and I'm so excited and impressed on how they've transformed to become such edgy, dateworthy and "Instagrammable" sit down dining restaurant.Prices & Food: very reasonable, includes lunch time specials that won't dent the pockets. I haven't had all of the dishes on the menu but the ones that I have had I enjoyed. I ❤️ the fact that they stay true to their roots regarding heat levels. They don't dummy it down for us NYers..you came there remember! On the flip..they should stay true to their roots and not serve fried chicken wings the way we do up here. That was a miss ?Cleanliness: ? they nailed it! The bathroom decor is something I'd be inspired to copy and VERY clean, smells good, etc. I hold a sanitation certificate so EVERYWHERE I go I'm looking in corners, looking at the ceiling, under the tables..I need to know my area is clean to enjoy my food! 5stars!Service: No complaints. Each server has been attentive and patient; never really hovering to rush me and my party out so much appreciated ?I would very much recommend coming here. Nice for a solo date or bring a party. The place is inviting and seats about 40 people in total I believe. Warm months brings outside dining, never done it, but it looks ?Wheelchair accessibility: Establishment provides outdoor dining and has a ramp! Thoughtful!“
“We arrived before 12:30 on a Saturday and was lucky to get a parking spot. But surprisingly after we parked more spots opened up. We ordered a papaya salad, beef noodle soup, duck noodle soup and chicken curry. The papaya salad was quite spicy.“
“I'm late to the party but I'm glad I've arrived. Delicious, special, creative and beautifully made food in a gorgeous space with great energy and people who gladly serve what they proudly make. Not your typical Thai, and thank goodness for that. Pad Thai is the best I've ever had. The shrimp entree is also amazing. The fried rice with crab is incredible. And even if you don't think you have room, the pandan dessert is incredible and will be on your mind for weeks after. If you're like me tho, you'll go back the following week and have it again.“
“The environment of this restaurant is very good. The food is not only beautiful in appearance, but more importantly, the taste is very good, the color is good, fresh and refreshing, and the price is not high. It is suitable for taking the family together.“
“Bangklyn is without a doubt one of the tastiest and most unique restaurants in the city. The food is amazing and fresh, especially the fried chicken. The owner/cook/busboy is awesome and even though he won't say much, he is kind when he does talk and he works really hard to serve the customer. As for the decor, is it a thrift shop? Is it just decoration? It's difficult to tell, but either way it's cool. Highly recommend.“
“The food here is out of this world. Everything is so fresh, tasty, colorful, and delicious. The two sisters who run the place are very kind and again, love the food. Outside of Thailand, this is the best Thai food I've ever had in NYC!“
“The Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Tom Yum soup are the real thing. If you are looking for authentic, "mom's kitchen" Thai food like that secret place you used to regular in NYC, this is the place for you. The ingredients are fresh and dishes arrive piping hot (and the aforementioned plenty spicy!) from the kitchen. The service is friendly, ever present, and -- unlike that NYC place of yours -- you won't be pushed out the door. The atmosphere is basic which is the way we like it: they put the money into the food, not the décor. Unlike other Thai places, plenty of vegan options with the vegetable broths for the soups and non of the sauces are made with fish powder. My only feedback is that I wish there were just a bit more vegetables in the vegetable drunken noodles but they made up for that by putting plenty in the Tom Yum soup.Vegetarian options: Vegetable Drunken Noodles and Tom Yum soup were made vegetable broth based and were made without fish powder. Double check with your server. There were also plenty of vegan curries and noodle soups. Be sure to ask that your dish is not made with egg noodles.“
“Was super happy to try Bach Bistro. We placed a take out order. the pirogies were delicious! loved the veggie spring rolls as well. it's nice to have something different and the price was reasonable. They gave a free order of the cabbage soup. It was really a welcomed addition. Cant wait to go back and try more items!“
“This place is my new favorite restaurant. My favorite dish is the masa man curry but other dishes like the boat noodles, lan of seafood, and the sweet pepper sauté are amazing. The scenery is amazing and beautiful. The people there are very nice and always get things right.“
“The Pho here is really amazing. Vermicelli bowls are also very good. They have a variety of proteins to choose from (beef and chicken are my favorites). We’ve had take-out and dine-in, both were great. I just hope they never change the recipe for their soup!“
“Great take out Thai place in Harlem. I have ordered multiple times from Charm Thai and they have been consistently good. Love the curries, various noodle dishes, and appetizers. The food is hot and fresh, generous veg and meat in curries and noodle dishes, and very authentic flavors. I appreciate their reasonable prices. When I pick up, their staff is gracious and friendly, which makes the experience even better!“
“Everything was fantastic, both the food and the service. We ordered banh mi, chicken rice noodles, and mango sticky rice. It was so delicious that we were left wanting to order more things from the menu. I would go back if I could. Greetings from Spain!“
“I don’t normally love Thai food but the Red eye chili paste chicken is so good and spicy that I know I will be thinking of this dish for some time. Every ingredient is fresh, the chicken was perfectly tender and moist, and the rice omg it’s so good. You can tell it was prepared with immense care. The one man chef/owner also gave me great recommendations from the menu and tips on how to enjoy the food at home. He is SO sweet. The ambience is so lovely and quaint as well!! ?“
“We found this amazing spot by mistake and so happy we did.. the food is always delicious and fresh and the owner is the nicest person, she’s always welcoming and accommodating. As a vegan the owner always ensures that my meals are just that.. vegan! After only the second visit she recognized us and made us feel like friends. I would recommend Chok Dee Thai to anyone looking for a casual yet delicious dining experience.“
“Really superb customer service, they even plated my leftovers for me! Food was average, not bad, but nothing I would write home for. A little pricey considering the food was closer to bland & unseasoned. I had basil thai rice, thai iced tea, & that lil appetizer. Great kind service overall <3“
“We’ve been searching for the authentic taste of Thai food all over and this is by far up to par.Padthai was on the spot, papaya salad trasported us back to Thailand and Bangkok platter reminded us of the street food of Bangkok. The ‘grandma’ was super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended place.“
“Best Pad Thai I've ever eaten. Haven't tried the whole menu but everything I've tasted from this place is amazing. Takeout usually gives larger portions FYI. Also don't get the fried tofu unless you are eating in person OR if you have an air fryer at home. Very kind staff as well. honestly one of my favorite places to eat in the greater NYC area.“
“This is easily the BEST BESTTT BOBA SPOT around!! Everything is so delicious and freshly made. The woman is the absolute sweetest ever and is beyond lovely everytime we go. The thai tea is AMAZING and the matcha, taro and coconut are also so delicious. Just try everything ;)“
“Food was one of the best ever. Good quality and worth the price. Love the Thai Iced Tea, not too sweet. Spicy glass noodle salad is a must.I've been here twice.Got different server each time. Both of them wasn't really attentive.Hard to get their attention even it's not busy. Might consider just a take out next time so I don't have to waste money on tips when I barely get a service.“
“The food at Thai Market is possibly the best Thai food I have had in the US. Everything we have tried over many visits has been consistently delicious, including the Branzino, Salmon, Chicken Massaman, Pad Thai and Chicken Sate. The only problem is that is now so popular that there is often a 1 hour wait.“
“Got there an hour exactly before they closed and they were super welcoming, to start for cocktails we ordered the lychee cosmo and their strawberry coconut mojito, both delicious (we ended up ordering 2 more rounds). For appetizers everything was a hit chive dumpling, moo ping, Tom kha chicken soup and the spicy papaya salad! Everything was cleaned off the plates. And for mains we opted for the thai spicy basil with chicken and pad see ew with tofu. I can’t begin to explain how flavorful and authentic everything was. We had to order dessert even though we were all pretty full, we got the mango sticky rice and Creme brûlée, wonderfully decadent and yummy. The owner was sweet enough to get our desserts on the house. Definitely coming back.“
“I ordered for the first time and I was very impressed! Excellent Customer Service, Reasonable Prices, Generous Portion size, Quality Ingredients, Clean, and Friendly!!! I will definitely recommend to others and be a repeat customer! I am very picky when it comes to restaurants/quality food and this place is top notch!!! Thank you ??“
“This is one of the best authentic Thai restaurants I have been tasting around New York and New Jersey. Great environment and services. We tasted Red Curry and Papaya salad, both are good, the curry is rich in flavors and the salad sweetness and sour is perfectly adjusted.“
“Fantastic Thai Food uptown that is a regular go-to for delivery. Incredible Beef Basil Fried rice, one of my favorite dishes in the city. The chicken wings are crunchy and crispy while being moist. Chive cakes are another favorite starter with terrific crunchy texture that pairs well with their dipping sauce. Drunken Noodles, Pork Larb, Pad Thai and all the curries are excellent. Great authentic Thai spice which gives the heat that I'm looking for. Also delivers with extremely fast service. Hidden gem uptown that is worth a try.“
“We came here for restaurant week which was a great deal. You got an appetizer and three specialty rolls. There was a lot of different appetizers to pick from and the vegetable tempura was definitely my favorite. It was light crunchy, and you still tasted the flavor of the vegetables was. The pork gyoza was also really tasty. We had a variety of different specialty rolls. They were all good, not great. We had ginger ice cream for dessert which was outstanding and had little crystals of ginger in it and perfect ginger flavor. I would come back here and try some of the other menu items, Besides the sushi. The place is on a main road but never really noticed it. There is no parking lot so you have to park on the street but we didn't have an issue. It's also BYOB and the service was really nice and they didn't rush us at all.“
“For the past 2 months, I've been to 25 different Chinese restaurants ordered the same dish...Genera Tso Chicken. In all these restaurants, was the Best !!!! No doubt, I'll be going back again, and again, and again. You got the idea.“
“Just moved my son up to Washington Heights on the weekend. Decided to give Tung Thong Tai a try since it was so close to us....food was delicious, hot and delivered in good time!! Will definitely order again!!! Great Thai!! (Chris Battaglia and Rick Comport)“
“I love the food here, the service is great every time I come and I always discover something new on the menu every time. Its been years of great memories in this place. Its beautifully decorated, authentic and friendly. One of the best places in the area. I am surprised I had not written a review before now. Ive been going to this store for years. Recently, I walked by and saw a "FOR RENT" sign. I will be sad to see this place go and hope they relocate instead of completely shutting down. Their chicken satay is the best Ive ever had. They have an amazing lunch special and the best Thai Tea, great portions. I really hope I get to taste their food again!“
“After my visit to Thailand, this is my favorite restaurant in New York. The food is affordable and flavorful. The space is so cozy and relaxing. Great for mommy & child outings. The service is good and the wait to order is not long. It is also great to order take out as the food arrives hot and holds the same flavor. My favorite platters are their fried rice, pad Thai, Thai ice tea, shrimp rolls, mango sticky rice and drunken noodles.Kid-friendliness: They are very accommodating to kids.“
“I love love love my lunch! I’ve been ordering from here for a few weeks now, the udon noodles with shrimps and veggies ? the greens always comes so fresh and tasty ? Looks good and tastes even better.I love that they care about cooking fresh food! Keep this up, great business service.“
“It has been one of the best experiences I have ever had, for me one of the best restaurants in terms of food and extraordinary customer service, I recommend the ? super cheap food and incredible happy hour, the staff for me one of the best in Attention, we feel like Hollywood actors, thank you for everything ❤️ ♥️ ?“
“Amazing Thai food with a nice ambiance. The service was fast enough. Singha Thai beer was nice but has only 5% alcohol. For food, you can specify the spice level that you would like. My friends tried Tom Kha Gai soup and they like it. My husband really liked Drunken Noodle with chicken. I ordered Mixed Vegetables Pad Phed (which is sautéed with red curry, onion, bell pepper, basil and coconut milk) after I verified they do not use butter for that. It was delicious but we think that it is spicy even I asked for mild, so be ready! By the way, Mixed Vegetables Pad Phed comes with a small bowl of rice so I had to order one more rice bowl to balance the spice level; but overall, it was a great experience! Note: They charged extra 3.99% as credit card fee without warning us about that.. It was around 5 dollars for us. We realized that later but you can consider this while adding your tip if you want.“
“One of my favorites in an area with not-so-impressive-yet-VERY-expensive places to eat. I was a fan before the business burned down, and am an even bigger fan after its reopening. Ordered from them on Monday night - Panang chicken curry was fresh, flavorful and nicely blended and had beautiful fresh veggies. Pork Pad Kee Mao (medium) had an unexpected spice, not complaining! Spring rolls were fresh and crispy. I usually get the Massaman curry which can vary from restaurant to restaurant, and day to day, but theirs is always consistently thick and flavorful. I have honestly never gotten a bad meal from here and I'm a regular customer - at least once a month. Order by phone.“
“Came here tonight with friends and brought my 2.5 year old son along. This place was perfect. I love the decorations, the music, the balcony lights with the river view. We sat by the window and enjoyed our meal as the sun was setting. It was beautiful. Everything we ordered came out delicious! We ordered house fried rice, drunken noodles, Singapore noodles, pad Thai, spring rolls, cauliflower (highly recommend), Thai chicken wings, lettuce wrap. The drinks were really good too, several of us got seconds. Even my picky 2.5 year old loved the fried rice. The service was excellent. They were so understanding and so lovely with my son. I appreciate this restaurant and will definitely come back again.“
“My family and I visited this restaurant while visiting in New York! The service when we walked in was very pushy. The manager was very pushy… We was like we a black family with money and here for a great dining experience. But after he calmed down we ordered. The drinks were spectacular I got a passion fruit margarita (top tier). My husband got a mango it was still pretty good. The food was okayyy. We got the hibachi I also got sushi and my husband got crab Rangoon (it wasOnly like 3 for 8 bucks. Buttt Heyy. The kids loved the cook he even did a balloon performance (never seen that before) but he was nice.“
“Nice place, tasty food, and good service. I had drunken noodles, pad thai, tom yum, and tom kha soup. I only give it 4⭐️s just because, in my opinion, it would be better to cut the ingredients for the soup into smaller pieces. It's easier to eat with a spoon.“
“I've never been in but I believe this is the same restaurant that was called Malii but during covid closed. I noticed last night a new name at the same location with the same menu was open. So had to try and confirm. It's the same AMAZING food!. Their beef stew is to die for. I was craving this dish for so long since they closed and finally today my taste buds got an amazing treat. I've had their green curry, pad thai, fried rice. All very good! But like I said, the beef stew is my fav. I do wish it had less fat. I know some people like fat on their beef but I'm the kind that I want it no were near my mouth. But its also what makes this dish so flavorful. That would be my only complaint thats minor, that it be more lean meat and less fat. But, thank you for reopening and bringing back all these wonderful dishes back to our neighborhood. I will go back to ordering from you weekly.“
“I don’t understand why restaurant is so underrated. The food was so delicious and authentic. The portion is MASSIVE for the price! If only my stomach could handle more food I would have ordered some dessert. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We would definitely return the next time we visiy New York.“
“This is my favorite Chinese take out spot! Solid portions and variety. Really stands out from the others in the neighborhood. My fav dishes are sesame chicken, honey chicken, sesame shrimp, and the Chinese donuts (you need these in your life). Go support this place, please ?“
“Small eat in area, I was there for 30 minutes around lunch time and it seems like more of a take out only place. There were a few to eat in but it was a bit crowded.Pad Thai with tofu was very flavorful. The lunch special is an awesome deal: $11 for an entree, soup or salad, and an appetizer!“
“This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but I'm so happy to have found this place! It's a small authentic hole in the wall Thai restaurant with great prices and great food. I've been playing Pickleball everyday at Central Park and I love how close it is to the courts. This place is super affordable and have big portion sizes. Would highly recommend dropping by especially for their lunch special. The restaurant is a bit small, only fitting around 8 people, but definitely worth a visit.“
“First off, the food is soo tasty. The prices, especially for the lunch specials, are great, comes with appetizer and main dish for 11$. Loved that the place was low-key, relaxing, and intimate. The service was great as well. Food came out within 10 minutes of ordering, and was fresh and hot. Can't beat that in the city. Period.“
“My second review about this neighborhood gem. I had the most delicious chicken pad Thai and their wonton shop is definitely the best I’ve had in a long time. Not only is the food delicious but the customer service is so warm, attentive and friendly.“
“This is a hole in the wall - literally. That said, it's my go-to spot for Thai food. My favorite is their spicy eggplant dish with crispy pork, which is hard to find elsewhere. Also spicy seafood wok. They are fast and consistent. Try them!“
“Good takeout for standard Thai food. I wouldn't say it's out of this world or anything super special, but they do a really good fried whole snapper, it comes very crispy even when delivered. And their moon Thai fried rice is tasty too. It's a regular spot on my go-to take out list.“
“I had fried noodle ith chicken and fried tofu agedasi both where real good. The fried noodle lunch special has that woki flavor from the wok and flames the spring roll was good crispy.Agedasihi Tofu was crispy very nice to eat with soy sauce slightly sweet very good.Staff excellent! service i would come back.“
“Everything we have had here during a half dozen visits has been fresh and tasty! Service is efficient and congenial.Vegetarian options: I have enjoyed the mock duck basil, tofu two ways, and vegetarian pad thai very much! There are spicier vegetarian dishes that I haven't tried.“
“The gentleman was very kind when we arrived and took our order. The food is delicious and the place is very clean. This is a great place to take kidsWheelchair accessibility: You can move around easily inside and the entrance is accessible too.“
