“We came here on a Saturday at 11:30 AM. The food, service and ambiance were top notch. We ordered the Shakshuka, Omelette and 2 Israeli sandwiches to eat. To drink, we got the the carrot and orange juices. Both delicious and freshly squeezed/pressed. The star of the show is the challah bread. Cheers !“
“My favorite coffee shop in Cincinnati! I've been a regular here for a couple years now. If you're in town, absolutely stop in and check it out. The food is delicous, but the coffee is hands down the best, and the staff is wonderful.“
“I was back in France at that cute little bistro that always highlights your best travel stories. Food was not overly fancy or unnecessarily drenched in heavy sauces, but it was tip top French (and a little American) fare. 2 of our party had the outstanding moules and frits, fresh and bathed in white wine and light aromatics. I had a sumptuous, well prepared cod Provençal. Service was prompt and friendly the restaurants rooms drenched in unpretentious French charm. Definitely moving Luca into the regular rotation. (Side note: if you’re still sad about the departure of Zulas and their epic mussels, come here!)“
“Staff are great people that are always friendly & funny. Their drinks are delicious and I haven’t found one I don’t like. My favorite is the Cincinnati Mocha and the chai latte. I enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches and their panini blt is one of my personal favorites. They have a ramp into the store so it’s also wheelchair accessible which is wonderful. This place is all around the best local spot on the way to downtown. They survived Starbucks even moving into the same parking lot for several years which I think says a lot about their quality.Parking: You have a whole strip mall to park in.Kid-friendliness: They have toys available for play and plenty of different kinds of seating. Also a public restroom.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp available for accessing the front door and plenty of up front spots.“
“Cafe Mochiko left us thoroughly impressed during our visit from out of town. We dined there twice over a weekend, once for dinner and once for morning pastries, and we were blown away both times. During dinner, we enjoyed a variety of appetizers, including the savory and fragrant Mochi Mochi Panic, Karaage, and Kabocha Raisu, all of which were hits. For the entree, we tried The Ohio from their rotating menu, which featured a rich pork and fish broth with tender sous vide pork and chewy noodles—an absolute delight. On our second visit, we stopped by for pastries on a Sunday. Despite about 15-minutes wait in line, the pastries were well worth it. We tried out a variety of their signature pastries, including the Ube Croissant and Genmaicha Melonpan, all of which were so well-made and delicious.Overall, Cafe Mochiko is an exceptional Asian-inspired bakery and Japanese restaurant. While they don't take reservations and may involve a wait, it's well worth the visit. We are so thrilled to have visited this gem in Cincinnati!“
“Love this place, great local business. Great coffee, love the egg sandwich, pasties and the cinnamon sugar toasties. The place is very Cozi, this is a Sunday morning tradition for our family.Kid-friendliness: Outdoor space in the warm months is great for kids. There is also a good amount of room inside for kids“
“It is awesome!!! I Recommend the cookies! We should go there again soon. (My 9 year old says) The monthly burgers and specials are always a creative surprise. The Vegasian Persuasion is my current favorite, but the Oh My Cod is my first love.“
“I LOVE this restaurant. I started going soon after they opened. Then I found ways to go as they switched from offering lunch to offering dinner. The food is exceptional: fresh, extremely high quality produce, the cuisine is exquisite, the service is fabulous. I brought my grown children this time, and they both loved it. They had not been. I highly recommend it! Wonderful from beginning to end.“
“Chef's Cafe is a hidden gem that delivers on all fronts. From the outstanding chicken salad that reminds you of grandma's cooking, to the soft and fresh bread, crisp veggies, and delectable desserts, every aspect of the meal was top-notch. The charming decor and friendly staff further enhance the dining experience.Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend visiting Chef's Cafe for a memorable and satisfying meal.“
“Great food. I love that they have gluten-free bread options and their coffees are amazing too. The staff is always friendly and the homemade pastries are delicious. I also love their mission. Local people helping local people. Great breakfast food and dinner specials. Chef Gigi is the best.“
“When this first opened, I came here and the music was too loud and the women barristas weren't very friendly. But now I've started coming here as often as possible! I really like Katie, the barrista and the fact that it is not crowded at all in the early afternoon so I can sit and work. Music is now great. And they just started carrying my favorite cheese, Kerry Gold. I wish there wasn't a fan intermittently blowing cold air down on me, but I can live with that. The coffee (Urbana) is great. This is just down the street from where I live. Win, win! (oh and the green St Pat cookies are way good.“
“What an unexpected find! We were in the area and saw the good reviews so we thought we would try it. It’s actually on a lake. It’s a very peaceful setting. It was busy at lunch time but the service was quick and the food was really good.We ordered a double cheeseburger and fish. They each came with 2 sides. We got green beans, house salad, fries, and onion rings. We really liked everything and they have good ranch; which is critical! They offer to bring a basket of rye bread if you want but we didn’t get it.I would definitely for lunch again if I’m in the areaParking: Parking was easy; plenty of spots.Kid-friendliness: There were a number of kids there and they seemed happy“
“I just adore Glendale! And bluebird bakery is one of the reasons why. It is a great little café to have lunch or just to have some coffee and dessert. Although they do not offer any other coffee drinks other than drip coffee - it is really good coffee. I also like it that they have the option to purchase whole pies!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free options“
“The owner is so kind and quick with service! My go-to spot for halal food in OTR, everything is fresh and delicious. There have been a couple of occasions where I walked up and there was no one in the building (despite being "open" according to the hours on the window) but I can tell it's not something that happens frequently ?“
“Small family friendly bar. "Cheers" type atmosphere. Had days special..double cheeseburger and fries. Delicious and filling.Parking: Located close to an available public lot. This lot is where a business used to be and other surrounding business share the spaces. So I believe that although not specifically for public parking it is tolerated. Street parking..although limited is available also.“
“I've walked past 1215 so many times on the way to somewhere else. We were out and I was craving an espresso martini, so we figured the wine bar and coffee lab was the perfect choice. I was skeptical of ordering their fancy version or a traditional espresso martini because of the mention of chocolate. I'm not a super sweet drink kind of person. I went out on a limb and decided on their fancy version (top model or something like that?) It was sooooo good! Service was fantastic.“
“Breakfast was great. Fast. Being handicapped with crutches..server went above and beyond by opening all doors for me when I arrived and departed. He was great..we tipped way beyond expected hoping some of that tip goes to him..will returnParking: Parking is terrible..management company that owns property dies little for handicapped parking .accessible in front of first watch. Jimmy John's gets preferential parking with 5 dedicated spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Hard to navigate handicapped walking into restaurants“
“2023: 4/5 stars. Collective has lost some of its magic over the years. It's still pretty good, but the costs have just gone up a lot. Pour overs that were once $3–4 are now $6–7, when they actually have them, for example. They are using North South for pastries now which is a big win. They have largely stopped doing lots of the fine touches that used to make them what they are, such as the single origin espresso option. I still visit, but a lot less than I used to. There are so many other options now compared to OTR in 2016... the newest spots, Redtree and Coffia are both worth checking out.2016: 5/5 stars. It's the best coffee shop in OTR and in Cincinnati. The espresso drinks are nice, pour overs are great, and they do some weird stuff like espresso lemonade ("spronade"). The baristas are very friendly and the owners are down to earth and around most days. Very good neighborhood spot.“
“We love Melt!! The Rachel with a side of slaw is our favorite. Also love the revival bowl, verde chicken flatbread, & nachos. Swapping their homemade vegan cheese on any of these items is delicious. Ooh, and the Carmelita is one of their must-try treats!Dietary restrictions: Lots of great vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, & gluten free options.“
“At first glance, I thought the coffee must be fantastic since the ratings were so high and it is just a little drive-thru. I wasn’t wrong there but what really makes this place stand out are the owners who run it. They always have a great attitude and the fantastic coffee is just a bonus.“
“I ordered breakfast online threw a third party (next time ill use their website) but they were closed due to a family emergency. The order still went threw and without me contacting them, they refunded 100%. I'm exited to get food here in the future, because I already know its good people making it! Thank you!“
“Came here for some coffee and their latte was genuinely delicious. You know when your coffee tastes like how coffee smells. Highly highly recommend. The chai latte on the other hand was so heavy on ginger and nothing else... it just was not it. But I would come back for the coffee. Also, it would be great if they could get to know their products a bit. I ordered a cheesecake cake pop. 3 workers gathered to decided which one is the cheesecake one... and they got it wrong. Weird“
“I love the hummus and bread, I add tapenade and cukes for a little twang and crunch! Mmm mmm good! I also got the tomato soup, it smells wonderful and has a great flavor. It’s a little too much like a sauce for me but I’m use to smooth tomato soup and this had some volume/ texture! (Not a bad thing, just not my vibe) I also tried the mango jet tea, delicious and a quick bite out of the meltdown melt (I want more but it’s for later)“
“I always really enjoy eating at Alreddy Cafe. It's a very cozy atmosphere with excellent lattes. Their food is really great too. The Salmon BLT is wonderful, as well as their soups. I like to meet friends here for lunch but it's also a great place to bring the family. I definitely recommend it.“
“Always love coming in here for a Brown Sugar Boba Tea! We've tried a lot of different bakery items here over the years, their bread rolls and cookies are always a good go, but their chocolate cake slices, any kind, yum!! This time we got a few Mooncakes! They are delicious!!“
“I just picked up Agape Cafe for the first time tonight and loved it. The food was very good and fresh, neat and nicely presented, and the service was amazing! The young lady and gentleman there made me feel very welcome and helped me decide what to get. I’d definitely recommend trying them out!“
“We stopped here to grab a coffee to go. The shop is really cute! They offer pastries & hot sandwiches in addition to a variety of coffee drinks. We both got a seasonal flavored iced coffee. Both were delicious! They answered our questions and were knowledgeable about the menu. The service was quick & they even brought them out to where we were sitting! Worth a stop!“
“Farm-to-table, pay-as-you-are-able, hidden gem in West Norwood! Located in the former Speckled Bird Cafe with limited weekend hours during breakfast and brunch. Serving seasonally available fruits and vegetables in their amazing baked goods and a variety of egg dishes!Vegetarian options: Everything on the menu is vegetarian and accommodations can be made to make some dishes vegan.Dietary restrictions: There are some gluten-free and dairy-free options available.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome“
“Cute little deli in the Columbia Tusculum area. Came for a Sunday afternoon snack with a friend. Tried the grilled cheese sandwich and an Egg Cream Coffee Soda since that's one of their signature drinks that's different. The grilled cheese was open gooey and satisfying. The drink was interesting and I'm glad I tried it. I do want to come back to try more of the food and lattes. They also have a small convenience store inside to get some local eats and farm fresh feels. Looking forward to my next visit.“
“Oh my goodness, I'm just now seeing King's Way Cafe is closed. I'm sad to be sure. We had a delightful meal here. Everyone in the place was super kind. I'd have come back without hesitation. I hate it when family owned shops close down.“
“Whenever I visit Cincinnati our first stop (right after getting me from the airport) is First Watch! Never have been disappointed in the food or service. Delicious pancakes...all the flavors especially lemon ricotta and carrot cake. Love the chia seed super bowl with toasted almond nut bread and the morning meditation drink which has beet juice and ginger. Nothing feels fast food or greasy just good wholesome food, I love that pretty much every egg dish comes with a green salad with a light lemon dressing. Definitely pop in and eat there, you'll be back!(Side note: I keep wishing we'd get some in the NY area..come on !)“
“I applaud this as above and beyond for a coffee shop , first time in Tuesday 11/21 evening and the house blend drip ? is phenomenal. Service , quality , price and location A+ Dark long haired girl very kind , very respectful, great communication ? ? Thank You!!! Now I know where I'll go before work!!!!“
“My wife and I visited Cafe De Paris for the first time today, and it was amazing! I had the mushroom crepe and it was the first authentic crepe I'd had in years. The customer service was exceptional and the atmosphere had a warm and cozy feel. I love that we found this little gem.“
“Nice place for an easy breakfast or brunch. The usual staples taste good (eggs, pancakes, bacon) and they offer quinoa dishes, skillet hashes, etc. The chain overall is good with accommodating food allergies (we haven't had any issues yet with peanut or tree nuts), and overall this location had ample seating on a Sunday at 9am. The food was cooked well and came out quickly, and our waiter was attentive. This place is definitely one of the first places we hit up when we are in town.“
“One of my favorite lunch spots!! The owners are warm and always call me by first name when I order my “usual” cup of turkey chili. They have the best potato soup I have ever had!!! They are also known for their chocolate chip cookies! In general, the food (and staff) are *AMAZING* and it’s always fresh.“
“A wonderful sunny, open and pleasant room and patio overlooking the art museum courtyard. Ambitious menu of interesting sandwiches and salads. My wife had the club sandwich and I had the Mixto (variation on ham and cheese), both with an excellent side salad. We were there at a very busy time, with several large groups in the restaurant, and every other table taken, so service took longer and was less frequent than I'm sure is usual. We weren't in a hurry, so it wasn't a big problem, but it took a long time to get our food and even longer to get the check.“
“Place is super cute and the cheesecake it’s phenomenal! The lattes are really really sweet (we tried the seasonal flight). It’s a cute idea totally in there. I think the owner was in serving us and she was great too. There is no place to sit and eat but outside (with it being Ohio you can bet it’s a 50/50 chance it’ll be nice enough lol). Worth a stop in for sure!“
“Very good coffee shop, but drive-thru only since the pandemic. I typically just get their house blend, but have occasionally gotten something to eat. The bagels are warm (definitely better than Dunkin' or Big Apple), and their smoothies--both the fruit ones and the more dessert-ish-- are rich without being too sweet. It's located right at the edge of Mariemont's historic district, with all its fachwerk buildings and expansive parks, which is convenient, as they let me leave my car parked at the coffee shop and walk my dog there.“
“My husband and I ordered shrimp pho in meat broth, they brought it to us in chicken broth Didn't like it at allBut we ate anyway because we were hungry and had limited time.We love it in meat broth, it has a wonderful taste of long-cooked meat and bones over low heat and a clear, rich broth, advice to you, don’t take chicken broth! This is no longer real pho but just chicken noodle soup! But ! I want to say that the hall was packed, we literally got the last free table! The room was clean, the tables and tables were clean! This is a huge plus! The kitchen was closed, so it was not possible to see the state of cleanliness in the kitchen.I also wanted to draw attention to pricing! For a small pho $14?This is too much. The plate was really small. The waiters were kind and polite.“
“We lived right around the block for a year and never went. A few years later we finally stopped by and wondered what we were thinking... Amazing little neighborhood bar. Friendly bar tender and they have Old Style on tap! Missed Old Style after moving to Cincinnati from Chicago.“
“My leadership team met here for a planning session. The atmosphere was great! The staff was so kind and helpful. We ordered a variety of drinks. I ordered coffee, others ordered wine. We also ordered a charcuterie board for the table. It was nicely prepared and everything was fresh. Highly recommend!“
