“4 of us visited Bruno’s Sunday for dinner with a 6:45 reservation. Greeted immediately upon walking in. Bar area seats abt 10-15 and reservations can be made for bar seating as well! Within a minute of being seated our server had our drink order and returned with them. Appetizers ordered: Hot sausage stuffed peppers These weee absolutely awesome. Served with peppers and onions with a light marinara. Menu says “spicy”; they are medium hot but amazing flavor Artichoke The couple with us ordered these ?breadcrumb” battered and fried portion. Also sauced in hous made marinara. Entrees ordered: chicken parm, spaghetti marinara, scallops and pasta. All were tremendous! Our server Martha was spot on with everything, meal was very nicely paced. I spoke with the gentleman in charge to compliment him on his food and staff. This was our first visit but definitely not our last! This is a definite 10/10.”

But tipping is an addition, not part of the bill. Heck, add it to the cost of the food and I'll pay it. but not in tipping. that's my choice.”

“Came for a birthday party and can't say I'd be back. There were several problems. First off, I waited 40 minutes for a coke. Seems like everyone else got their alcohol though which also had a very long wait. The server Cici was awful to say the least. She couldn't get anything right. My husband ordered the rib dinner and i had the two meats and two sides (brisket and ribs). The ribs were very good, I would definitely order them again if I ever came back. But the brisket was absolutely awful. The toughest, driest piece of meat I've ever bitten, tasteless with no bark whatsoever. They were out of rib tips which I was honestly disappointed about but the ribs were bomb. They were moist yet tender cooked to perfection. The macaroni and cheese *and believe me I don't eat everybody's* was really really good. The greens had too much vinegar but were still enjoyable. The baked beans (Fire whoever made them immediately) literally took a can of bushes and added green peppers and onion. I ordered my 2 year old a smoked wing appetizer and some fries. WE GOT MY 2 YEAR OLDS FOOD AS WE WERE PACKING UP OURS, He literally ate my whole plate because he had no food. I ordered the garlic parm on the side and of course when they brought his wings it was covered in garlic parm. The fries were so full of salt they weren't edible but I got over that quickly. Still being very very generous I told the waitress I would be paying for my friend for his birthday. She didn't just charge my card for my best friends meal, but for everyone else at the table almost 300$. How do you make that kind of mistake. I believe it was intentional. After that I just ran out of there. The service however bad, still didn't overshadow that the food was really good. I just wouldn't order the brisket agian and definitely tell them no salt on your fries”

“We came to Barroco's on Larchmere for the first time to celebrate a friend's birthday. We live an hour away and regularly try new and interesting places. This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and a creative menu of food and cocktails. Our server, Brianna P, took amazing care of us with recommendations that were on-point! All of us in our party were very happy with our experience and would not hesitate to return. Thank you, Brianna for such great service!”

We were in Cleveland for the night, and Balance was close to where we were staying so I decided to give it a try. The girl working at the counter was AMAZING! She was so helpful and super interactive with my son, literally mirroring his excitement. I know this is something small, but I have worked in the service industry and I know how infrequent it is to get positive feedback. I’m sorry I didn’t catch the girl’s name (she was tall with long blonde hair), but she was fantastic and really made us feel welcome. The restaurant was also super clean and all the employees were working hard.”

The salad was not the chopped salad that k was expecting, but mixed greens with Parmesan cheese, tomatoes, olives, and a balsamic vinaigrette. Still good, but not really a chopped salad. That’s the reason for 4 stars.”

“So I told y'all I went to thecrispychick_cle and I ordered the Mega Meal since it was our first time there that way me and babe can eat so I get the food and we pull off and start on our way then babe look in the food and sees that there are only four tenders well in the Mega Meal is supposed to be six tenders a french fry two sauces garlic bread and a drink so I busted you turn and went back and explain to the cashier that I ordered a mega and there were only four Tenders in there well she says I'm sorry about that let me let them know and so she says okay they're going to bring you to tenders up I said okay thank you when she comes up to the window she hands me a box and says im so sorry well I opened the box and here is five more Tenders in the Box... no arguments or nothing... no let me see your receipt it was just very pleasant they made a mistake and they corrected it right off of the drib and plus the food was good even for me with no teeth the Fry's (crinkle) has season on it so I didn't need ketchup salt and pepper the chicken was nice and hot out the grease but not greasy the honey mustard sauce was like no other honey mustard sauce that I have tasted the only regret that I have with this $12 purchase is not getting the lemonade Because by the way that chicken taste I know for sure that that lemonade was good as hell but here are the pictures and I did a video but I'm going to put the video on Tik Tok with a little editing and stuff and tag them in it so if you're ever by 55th and Woodland drop by they are really good and they are #blackowned”

Whether it’s remembering the specific drink orders for my team and my clients or popping the grate off a sewer drain to rescue a lost set of keys Nicole makes sure we are well taken care of. “Zero Doubt Kitchen is simply put, LIFE CHANGING for a single mom shuffling to and from work and sports on the regular. I’m obsessed with the endless by the pound options (and my kids both asked for ZDC hummus in their lunches and polished off my chocolate peanut butter protien balls) and love that they’re constantly dropping new things to try. The pictures don’t do the food justice because every single thing I try is phenomenal. Overnight oats are SUPERIOR, I have always skipped breakfast and now I no longer have to. I ordered by the LB broccoli, rice, chicken, ground beef and hummus for my lunches this week and I can’t wait to eat at the office now. “NEW RENOVATIONS ROCK!! I’ve loved Whistle for years for their serve-yourself taps, but their new expanded space really makes the business feel like an established business. There’s a great bar to sit around now and additional table seating, PLUS PIZZA! Having a by-the-slice shop so close to Rocket Mortgage/Progressive Field is huge. $6 a slice is decent, especially when considering location and convenience.
It’s clear they put a lot of time and consideration into the new space with the decor and guardian 3D murals, and thinking about what downtown cle can benefit from. Give it a few years and this will be The pregame spot for all Cleveland sports fans (watch out Clevelander/Thirsty Parrot!)
ALSO if you’re unfamiliar with Whistle, their serve yourself taps are the best. You go up to the bar to open a tab and they’ll give you a keycard. Then you can go up to any beer (or wine or cocktail sometimes!), scan your card, and pour however much beer you want! Even if it’s only a few ounces to taste before pouring more. They have a huge selection of local and beers from all over, plus all the classics. I love to try at least 5 different beers when I visit and it’s super easy because you control how large your pours are!! Super great spot.

Absolutely amazing pizza done with passion, intent and true skill that only comes from a master of their craft. Upon entering the small, clean and purposeful shop the aroma of fresh ingredients and flour dusted surfaces will have you under its spell. It’s obvious the place means business. Options for pizza toppings are not as limited as the hours but after the first bite you will be a believer. Conversations with the owner/Pizzolo while we waited and preformed his dough magic transported us right to the city of Naples. His knowledge and stories made our 15 minute wait seem like an only a few seconds. Not being able to decide we ended up getting two pies and we’re glad we did! Crisp thin crusts with those dark “leopard spots”, perfectly balanced sauce and low moisture cheese ratio with just the right amount of toppings including basil picked fresh from the plant. This type of pizza might not be for everyone but it’s definitely a contender for Cleveland’s best. Very demure, very mindful.

“While I’ve heard many speak of “The Standard” in Collinwood, I had never made it there until Thursday, when my “foodie” daughter, (@thingsivebeeneating), planned my surprise birthday dinner there for our big family.
The ambiance was so relaxing- dimly lit, sheers gently flowing between tables, a long beautiful bar, an open kitchen, and an outdoor garden patio area that truly felt like an oasis- you might forget you were in CLE on the eve of Halloween. It was lush, vibrant, and warm. The music that was piped throughout the restaurant, vacillated between “La Vie en Rose” and Frank’s “I Did It My Way”…truly transported you to a fine dining establishment in Paris. We were seated in front of the open kitchen. I don’t always enjoy this view, but the people in this kitchen seemed relaxed and happy to be there! While cooking, they seemed to have a camaraderie going- lots of smiles, and zero sense of being harried. (I noticed when a couple came in for dinner on the later side toward kitchen- closing, the staff there visually appeared welcoming nonetheless.)
Our group shared several bottles of wine, tried the innovative cocktails, and also the old tried and trues. We loved our server, Nicole. She was knowledgeable, welcoming, and fun! She quickly delivered the complimentary, freshly baked rolls with a trio of tapenade, olives, and oil/balsamic. My daughter warned us to come hungry, as we’d be wanting to try several apps. We had frog’s legs, crab croquettes, tuna tartare, French onion gratiné, beet carpaccio, and escargot. Other seldom seen items such as quail, foie gras, bone marrow, Moroccan lamb sausages, etc. were also available. We took SO long to decide on our entrees- they ALL sounded magical. We had aromatic, Fez chicken (complete with tagine) served with Moroccan couscous, Dover sole, pistachio encrusted rack of lamb, Chef/Owner Said’s bountiful paella, 24-hour braised short rib, and an epic “bowl” of pasta bolognese. My daughter prearranged a brought in cake, so we didn’t try the desserts, but Said amped our finale with a round of fancy nut-and-chocolate-encrusted coffee concocted liqueur shots! (Insert chef’s kiss!) This dinner celebration was nothing less than over the top! We had a fantastic evening! It almost (but not quite) makes me anxious to age, just to celebrate there again!”

We had the boneless KFC, which was great— perfect amount of sauce, crispy, and served with pickled daikon and cucumbers on the side. However the ramen broth was somewhat lacking in the umami department. The noodles were chewy but somewhat bland and somehow dilutes the broth’s flavor even more. Their soy egg is top notch, and definitely hands down the best in town.
We had 1 appetizer, 2 ramens (with soy egg each), 1 beverage each (1 alcohol, 1 non-alcohol) and the whole meal was almost $100 with taxes and tips. Maybe it’s the inflation? We can certainly find comparable ramen for less around town, so rating it a 4 star experience.”

We splurged and bought one of the most extensive rolls as well as I picked one other and my husband picked 2 others. I also got soup and we got a salad to share. When we ordered we made sure to tell the waiter I do not like raw or spicy so we ended up buying the sora roll I believe it was called with no spicy mayo. It was a very expensive roll my husband and I were going to share. It had gold leaf on it and everything. We were very excited. When it arrived it was covered in spicy mayo. Out waiter refused to replace the roll saying it’s too expensive to replace offering an extra soup for each of us which we didn’t want we wanted our roll. Then stating we can come back on a Thursday and he would give us a 50% off a roll. We didn’t want that and we told him it was my dinner we wanted that roll. He said there nothing he could do even though he admitted he forgot to tell them we didn’t want spicy sauce. I left a restaurant spending over $100 and was still hungry bc I did t get 1/2 my meal and was not about to buy a second d one. My husband ate most of the roll since it was still left there but we asked him if he would take it back and make a new one or at least just give me a few pieces without spicy on it and they wouldn’t. I wanted to come here for a long time we don’t go out often. We spend t $10 to park and I feel they did me wrong. It’s a good place but I think our waiter ruined our night. He really should have brought me a portion of the roll without the spicy. He kept saying well did you even try it. It’s not that spicy what does it matter I asked for it without. And besides that my husband who does like spicy said it was mega spicy. Just disappointed with our experience but would go back to a woman waiter they seemed to know a lot more about the menu.”

Seems like everyone else got their alcohol though which also had a very long wait. The server Cici was awful to say the least. She couldn't get anything right. My husband ordered the rib dinner and i had the two meats and two sides (brisket and ribs). The ribs were very good, I would definitely order them again if I ever came back. But the brisket was absolutely awful. The toughest, driest piece of meat I've ever bitten, tasteless with no bark whatsoever. They were out of rib tips which I was honestly disappointed about but the ribs were bomb. They were moist yet tender cooked to perfection. The macaroni and cheese *and believe me I don't eat everybody's* was really really good. The greens had too much vinegar but were still enjoyable. The baked beans (Fire whoever made them immediately) literally took a can of bushes and added green peppers and onion. I ordered my 2 year old a smoked wing appetizer and some fries. WE GOT MY 2 YEAR OLDS FOOD AS WE WERE PACKING UP OURS, He literally ate my whole plate because he had no food. I ordered the garlic parm on the side and of course when they brought his wings it was covered in garlic parm. The fries were so full of salt they weren't edible but I got over that quickly. Still being very very generous I told the waitress I would be paying for my friend for his birthday. She didn't just charge my card for my best friends meal, but for everyone else at the table almost 300$. How do you make that kind of mistake. I believe it was intentional. After that I just ran out of there. The service however bad, still didn't overshadow that the food was really good. I just wouldn't order the brisket agian and definitely tell them no salt on your fries”

The prices were pretty amazing as well definitely on lower end then most Mexican restaurants around. The bold colors and decor was inviting. Saved the best for last....... Margaritas are a must try. a jumbo was 10.50 I believe and was worth every bit of it. My family and I will definitely be returning. In my opinion it is the best kept secret of Parma it is only a matter of time when this new restaurant takes off!”

I got a vanilla cafe latte, which was killer! It was the perfect drink to have while we waited for our food. We got the grumpy kids' meals for our 3 kids. It came with a mickey mouse shaped pancake, sausage or bacon & eggs. My husband got the jambalaya omelet. I was happy he let me try it ? I've never had anything like it, it was incredible. I got the sausage gravy benedict. It's exactly what it sounds like ? & it was delicious. The jambalaya & benedict came with cajun home fries, too.

“I went with family to Lulo for the first time. The decor is nice. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The food is excellent! Between us, we tried the empanadas, churrasco, carne asada and chicken. Everything had flavor. The chicken and meat were juicy and soft. The plates came out just as they are pictured online. Not many places manage that. Our server was attentive. I would definitely recommend to others and go back myself.”
